We are definitely coming back. And telling all are friends about this place. Camp grounds are super clean with a great staff. Family friendly lots of kids playing, live music for Adult entertainment and the little cafe makes pretty good food.

Stayed in site 115.[excellent spot] problem with BBQ. Very dirty inside.Lit BBQ It caught fire. My VERY BIG problem is that i wanted to rent a golf cart [our only way to get around]. I was told that i had to go to the office to get it. I can't walk there, can you deliver a cart to me, they said [NO]. I said OK can you have someone pick me up, they said [NO]. [WHY] [ BAD POLICY]

Made reservation in advance.Two months prior called to confirm ,they lied to us and said we cancelled. Manager involved were not close together. No staff at pool on Saturday. smoking in pool with loud music, every other word F. Broke toe on 1/2 inch grade on bottom of pool. A guest with a train horn going 4 feet from three under two year old terrorizing them hurting ears. Power out dogs suffered

I’ve camped here 15+ years, but this visit was awful. Men blasted inappropriate music, smoked cigars at the pool, and drove around honking a train horn near kids. At night, large groups on golf carts screamed and blasted music past 10:30. Staff member Gloria shouldbe fired. This KOA no longer feels safe or family-friendly.

Our spot had great shade, and was close to all amenities. Bathroom was clean but did run out of paper towels. I appreciate the hot water but water pressure at Oaks could be better. Overall we always have a relaxing time. We will see you again!

We love Vail Lake KOA, but I wish it had more kids activities like the San Diego KOA. The painting crafts and mining get old. It needs to have organized games for the kids like capture the flag, dodgeball, basketball etc.

I enjoyed not having to walk over to get the golf cart. Its unfortunate that I did book an additional day as I was told the golf carts would be moved away from the clubhouse on Friday. Previous year I had to walk far and I was in a motorhome with no toad I think the staff should offer a shuttle service or delivery service. This year was good I loved my spot., with the new upgrades.

The stay was good, we like the improved sites! We had 2 sites & 2 cottages. Your staff could use some training. They took a bit of a hardline in basic conversations on a few occasions with different members of our party. We lost power & use of the pool for a couple of hrs.On Sun when I returned a 2 day golf cart rental at 11, I asked if they’d let me keep it until 4. They said yes for $75….rea

We had a great first stay. Two things as an area for improvement- shade at the pool would be wonderful; maybe plant some shade trees or put up some shade tarps. Secondly, the number of kids driving golf carts was alarming. Obviously parents need to do better and you can’t be expected to police the situation non-stop, but we had several “close calls” and the driver always seemed @12 years old

We were given spot 241 parking tag. We were there for a few hours and then another visitor came by our spot loudly and yelled at my boyfriend that we were in his spot. We were then bombarded by 3 KOA golf carts with staff and went down to the main office where they put the other visitor in another spot. Fast forwarded our bike tires were slashed the next day. Bathrooms were disgusting and ran down

We love it! However the showers need to be redone. The showers by MC had rat poop and the flooring is buckling. The showers by Merlot were gross too. The showers by the oaks laundry were the only decent ones, but the middle one is the only one worth using with its new shower head. The other 2 didn’t work well. Other than the showers the place is awesome !!!

We love staying at Temecula / Vail Lake KOA. It's very close to home but always feels like we've gotten away for a really nice vacation.

We always love staying at Vail Lake KOA. We especially love staying at your upgraded sites so we do not mind the extra fee. Only this time, the patio, furniture and BBQ were so dirty we couldn't get the BBQ to work the first night. We had to thoroughly clean it to get it to work. We sprayed the patio and furniture down because of all the bird poop. Would be nice if the sites were left cleaner.

This was our first stay at the Temecula / Vail Lake KOA. We enjoyed our stay and plan to return with friends and family in the near future. We enjoyed the cafe, the bunkhouse bar and the live music on Friday and Saturday evening.

Had I known- it’s nothing but dirt, un maintained miniature golf, no beans in bean bags for toss, pool closed, restaurant closed, bar & grille closed.I was there for 2 days with grandkids visiting. Awful experience..nothing to do! Poor quality golf game w/junk food in the store, no grill/cafe they advertise, pool they advertise closed. Really really sad experience. They made the entrance nice.

Everyone was very helpful and accommodating from call for reservation to the check in office. The facility was clean and well maintained with plenty of activities. I also enjoyed riding Vailocity bike park. The park is very well maintained and super fun.

Stayed here for my prop motocross race at Paula raceway and honestly no regrets. I heard fox shut off the water for privateers (I am a privateer) 🤣 so I am 100% glad I was smart enough to keep my main rig here. Temecula is beautiful and I'm glad I got a chance to explore. Temecula KOA at Vail Lake gave me and my team the opportunity to do this so thank you!!!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Vail Lake is one of my favorite places in the Temecula area to relax and unwind. The grounds are clean, well-maintained, and the overall environment is peaceful and welcoming. It always feels safe, making it a great place for families, couples, or anyone looking to enjoy some time outdoors. The property has a charming general store that is convenient and adds to the campground atmosphere. There is also a really cool ice cream shop that serves delicious treats along with a variety of food items, making it easy to grab a snack or meal without leaving the property. The bar is another great feature, offering a fun place to relax and enjoy a drink after a day of exploring. Whether you are camping, fishing, or simply looking for a quiet getaway, Vail Lake offers a clean, relaxing, and enjoyable experience. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice escape in the Temecula area.

Enjoy coming here with my family. For the pass 8 years we been coming. Looking forward in remodeling Oaks area. A little issue with 2 of the workers that is not a customer service friendly when checking in.
