Although we enjoyed our stay, I do have some concerns. Events didn't start on time. The staff that called bingo was very lackluster. When we asked multiple staff when the live band was going to start no one knew the answer. It turned out it wasn't a live band at all (which was listed on the event flyer) it was a DJ. He was good. Loud music on the Golf Cart while checking the Dumpsters at 7am

Fantastic resort. RV sites extremely small especially with TT with slides and parking tow vehicle. Would be Good for motor home

Our stay was great! But there was a KOA employee Gary who hit a couple of large rocks and kept driving leaving behind parts to the truck. My concern is children playing and him not stopping. Two kids did take the parts to the office and let them know of the situation. The rocks he hit were directly across our camp sites 12 & 13. Thank you.

Overall the campground is nice. We stayed in The Oaks with the most shade and centrally located. Merlot.o0 no shade, Chardonnay had some. We stayed mid week towards end of October. Park was mostly empty, so partying from campers that has been reported not an issue. Place is old but clean. Staff very helpful and friendly. Store had cute stuff to buy, not much in groceries. Lake not close.

This is a beautiful campground in a great location. There was one issue I started calling on Tuesday because I could t book their fall specials on line. I called at 9 am while on the road driving thru LA and kept getting a message to leave a message. I did get an answer “which was they put me on hold after 7 minutes I hung up and called back and left another message. The girl was very rude.

I got there Sunday at 1 o’clock and a lot of campers have left and the spot I had was nice and clean and easy to pull into and I loved it. I would like to try over by the Oaks the next day, but a lot of the things were closed because they were not busy But I did drive all around the park and it’s very very nice and I feel safe. I am very anxious to return and I would like to become a KOA membe

We are return guests for the Halloween weekend every year and without fail our kids have an absolute blast. The haunted house this year was top notch and overall it was pretty fun. I do wish security would get on the riders on their motorized E bikes that are flying through the campground but other than that, I really have no complaints already. Can’t wait to be back next year.

The activities for the younger kids this year were not very good. I’d much rather pay for the wrist band to be able to jump on multiple jumper’s for the weekend. All the little gifts for winning each station is too much.

Was extremely disappointed with the new rule of two guests per sight for the Halloween event. For the amount of money we pay to stay limiting the family that can join us. For myself, I do this solely for my nieces and nephews as my kids now are groom. Having four siblings with kids, and having to choose what to we can have for the night is making us reconsider where we celebrate Halloween .

We stay every year for Halloween the same weekend same spot same everything I feel like for the past two years the festivities have gone down the bathrooms needed some attention desperately, and the amount of E bikes and quads and off-road vehicles that were allowed are insane. There were children driving golf carts erratically. which is normally not allowed. A kid was even hit by one

Seems very mellow for a Halloween event. The haunted house was great, yet not a lot of decorations and the campground didn’t feel decorated and festive as in past years. We understood that with the lower campground being closed for 3 years may affect the finances, it’s unfair to the other campers.

Water pressure at the sites continues to be an issue, sites are clean and well maintained. Would like to see more. Passes by camp staff as some visitors play their music too loud and feel it should be maintained to its individual camp site. Most visitors on our visit were very polite and well mannered.

I love the natural surroundings, very pristine, and all the stuff was very helpful. We had a wonderful camping spot on the Chardonnay Mesa. I will definitely be returning.

It’s concerning to me that you charge money on my card for a late check out without my permission. I was 15 min late getting out because of issues with my truck. The amount of money I spend there is crazy and it’s seems greedy to for you add additional charges. Also pave the roads. The amount of money you spend on those cabins you could’ve repave the roads.

People did not honor quiet time. I almost got out of bed to go tell people to ut the volume down on their music. KOA workers should be out monitoring quiet time. Also, the mini golf needs a MAJOR update.

Water takes forever to get warm in the showers by 241. Very low water pressure at various times of day or night. Poop smeared in the men’s bathroom on the inside of the door and under the toilet paper. In the center section of the camp the roads are ridiculously potholed and torn up. Fix things before you add money making things like cabins. Been going to vail for 22 years. KOA, expected better

The dog run needs to be bigger. This is the smallest dog run that I’ve ever seen in KOA and there is no place to let your dog off leash except for this little tiny area. I’m hoping next year the other side of the park will be open, but I’m sure you guys are working on that as quickly as possible.

We live on the Central Coast and only come down for Halloween. First of all, the laundry machines. Please switch to credit card. I had to go to town to get quarters. Even laundry mats don’t take quarters. In regards to Halloween festivities, it seems since KOA bought the property, it’s kind of died down. They used to have parades through the campsites, kiddy rides, hay rides, etc.

Camp ground is great. My one BIG complaint is the LACK of signs around camp telling you which camp areas are which and how to get to them. There are no signs anywhere. The maps you hand out don’t reflect the new cabins which doesn’t help.

Everything was good to great. My only complain, spot 11 in Chardonnay, big rocks on the sides of the RV parking are dangerous, can easily twist an ankle or fall. Also the large aggregate in the parking driveway rolls around under tires..too loose, no good traction. I had to put in 4 wheel drive. Some parts had the smaller 3/4" gravel which compacted good. Unlike the larger gravel.

Stayed here for my prop motocross race at Paula raceway and honestly no regrets. I heard fox shut off the water for privateers (I am a privateer) 🤣 so I am 100% glad I was smart enough to keep my main rig here. Temecula is beautiful and I'm glad I got a chance to explore. Temecula KOA at Vail Lake gave me and my team the opportunity to do this so thank you!!!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Vail Lake is one of my favorite places in the Temecula area to relax and unwind. The grounds are clean, well-maintained, and the overall environment is peaceful and welcoming. It always feels safe, making it a great place for families, couples, or anyone looking to enjoy some time outdoors. The property has a charming general store that is convenient and adds to the campground atmosphere. There is also a really cool ice cream shop that serves delicious treats along with a variety of food items, making it easy to grab a snack or meal without leaving the property. The bar is another great feature, offering a fun place to relax and enjoy a drink after a day of exploring. Whether you are camping, fishing, or simply looking for a quiet getaway, Vail Lake offers a clean, relaxing, and enjoyable experience. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice escape in the Temecula area.

Enjoy coming here with my family. For the pass 8 years we been coming. Looking forward in remodeling Oaks area. A little issue with 2 of the workers that is not a customer service friendly when checking in.
