Site 73 - nice sunset view. Pedestal connection was a bit loose. Turnaround at the end had a pretty big dip in the road - we drive a 4x4 and our hitch hit! Could use some gravel to level it out with the roads. Heard good things about the bar/restaurant but didn't get there. Bathhouse is older but functional and clean. Good place for group gatherings

This is a great place to camp! The campsites aren't too close together. They have cabins for those who want to participate, but don't have an RV. Lots of fun activities. The live music on the weekends are usually pretty good, and a fun place to hang out. We'll be back.

First time to have a site at Chardonnay and it was a great site that provided a wonderful view! When we arrived it was pretty full but then campers left on Veterans’ Day and it was quiet and we enjoyed our stay so much we booked another week for next month.

Beautiful campground! The village is really nice with live music and a nice gift shop/market. The only thing we had a problem with was the public restrooms....they really need updating. The cement walls are moldy with peeling paint and the toilets have very low flow to flush properly.

Both states were very nice and I really enjoyed it and felt secure. Site 110 was very nice beautiful scenery . I will definitely be back. I really like it there.

The pavement in Chardonnay is crumbling and the public restrooms need some work. I would give the front desk staff a solid 10/10; they were polite and helpful. I did not use the other facilities of the camp.

My family loves camping here. Lots to do and close by. The staff is great and the entertainment is fun. Lots of festivities around the holidays.

Great stay. Happy the road to the lake is finally open. I'd like to see the electrical panels and water connections in the Chardonnay section upgraded. Both are very odd and not user friendly in our site.

We really enjoyed the updated campsites, especially the concrete patios! We had not been there for a couple of years, but we will definitely be back soon, with friends!

Not sure i consider this a over $100 resort for weekends for the site we had. I've stayed at resorts here in California that offer much more for the $100. Also telling people they have to buy your wood for camp fires is a little crazy. You probably get it from the same place I would.

My spot, Merlot 249, was slightly unusable because of the way the creek is situated. To access the hook ups and have the tow vehicle off the road we had to back in with the rear of the trailer hanging over the ground drops off into the creek. The trailer had to be angled to be parallel with the hook ups it made us of the awning useless because half of it was basically over the drop into the creek.

Parking pass and day pass for visitors was confusing. They need to be clear on what to do with day passes after they leave.

The park was very well maintained and cleaned. I would love a jacuzzi though, especially in the winter.

As always our stay was GREAT! During a Walk we had the pleasure of meeting a staff member named Tim super helpful, PLEASANT and answered questions we had about the cabins. This young man has a great attitude that reflects the the beauty of your property

We love the convenience and beauty of this place! The staff are friendly and the amenities are great. I will say the bathrooms/showers on Chardonnay are in pretty poor condition. The ceiling is peeling and it seems moldy, but the staff keep it clean. Just needs to be re-done. The weather is always breezy which helps ward off the heat and the new access to the lake is great! Always updating!

Stayed in Chardonnay area again and it was the same as usual but not as well kept. Seemed so dried out and trash around edge's of campsite and in fire pit. The views and the location keep us coming back along with the friendly staff!

The spot was good. There weren’t any shaded areas near the pool. I also don’t feel the activities posted should have costed $15 per child. The sites were clean and it was peaceful. I figured it could have had a park or something for the kids.

Our stay was nice. However it was very upsetting to arrive and be told we had no reservation. The app still had a current reservation for us. My MIL had called and changed her reservation to a future date and unfortunately some how the staff also canceled our reservation. Her new reservation was in the Oaks and when we checked they put her in Merlot...so that is also wrong. Def some issues.

It was a fun weekend. We have been there for Halloween the last two years and were disappointed to learn we could not re book for next year because of adding a week to the Halloween festivities. We would love to come back but likely will not be able to get our group all in the same spots again so we may be forced to go somewhere else.

Stayed here for my prop motocross race at Paula raceway and honestly no regrets. I heard fox shut off the water for privateers (I am a privateer) 🤣 so I am 100% glad I was smart enough to keep my main rig here. Temecula is beautiful and I'm glad I got a chance to explore. Temecula KOA at Vail Lake gave me and my team the opportunity to do this so thank you!!!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Vail Lake is one of my favorite places in the Temecula area to relax and unwind. The grounds are clean, well-maintained, and the overall environment is peaceful and welcoming. It always feels safe, making it a great place for families, couples, or anyone looking to enjoy some time outdoors. The property has a charming general store that is convenient and adds to the campground atmosphere. There is also a really cool ice cream shop that serves delicious treats along with a variety of food items, making it easy to grab a snack or meal without leaving the property. The bar is another great feature, offering a fun place to relax and enjoy a drink after a day of exploring. Whether you are camping, fishing, or simply looking for a quiet getaway, Vail Lake offers a clean, relaxing, and enjoyable experience. Enjoy coming here with my family. For the pass 8 years we been coming. Looking forward in remodeling Oaks area. A little issue with 2 of the workers that is not a customer service friendly when checking in.
