Great place, weather didn't cooperate, but still lots to do. We rode the electric bikes, hung out playing games in the courtyard area, enjoyed the bar and the DJ, also tasted the food from the cafe and food truck. The sites we stayed in were updated with great additions (fire pit, bbq grill, lounging chairs and table and chairs.

We had fun! We appreciated the clean bathrooms and facilities. Many of the things could use updating - the bathroom ceiling was leaking and about to cave in. The mini golf needs new grass. Just a few renovations to justify 150 per night :) thanks!

There seems to be some simple things that need attention with routine maintenance items. Rincon is one of our favorite spots because the grassy area allows the grandkids a safe place to play, but the ground is uneven and full of holes that could be easily filled. Speaking of holes the road around the loop gets worse every year, rocks in the holes would make it a better ride. Getting very pricy

Another great trip! Rained the whole trip but with the rented golf cart it was still amazing. The only thing we wished Temecula KOA had was a playground.

Unfortunately we had heavy rain the entire time we stayed and the mud was so bad. We ended up staying only one of the two nights we had booked because the mud was so bad. We love this campground but this was just a muddy mess this time.

Had to deal with the mud, wish all spots had some sort of cover for the entrance to your RV. But other than that great time.

We love this campground and look forward to the continued improvements with the lake. The resort grounds could use a little TLC as well. Some of the roads are in terrible condition. Laundry room in the Oaks had mouse dropping on top of one of the machines, so I suggest better cleaning. I hope that the restrooms will be upgraded eventually too. They were pretty clean but definitely showing age.

I loved the campsite and the park in general but was very disappointed with the no heat in bathroom and it’s condition. Showers had molds on walls, very unhygienic, paper towels were empty and some stalls with no toilet paper. At least one toilet I used had to be flushed numerous times to completely flush it. Poor flush system. Always had to flush the toilets before I could use.

They need a big fire pit by the store bunkhouse area to sit around and longer hours opened cafe and bunkhouse on sundays

Everything was great as usual. My only suggestion, since it is Christmas break for many people, have the store stay open past 5 pm on Sundays.

Vail Lake is my favorite KOA. It has everything you need for parents and kids. It’s kept clean, the staff is friendly, and we love the location. The newly opened vehicle access to the lake is a bonus!

It was a nice campground, although the mini golf and restrooms were a little rough maybe need an upgrade. Our spot, 64, was a little tilted. We would have liked to have been at a different site with a concrete slab where the fire pit was. Everything is very spread out. The snow play area was very small.

Super friendly staff, great sites, bathroom in the Chardonnay area is old and needs maintenance heater not working , but fantastic location very charming Christmas decorations. Everything else was beyond my expectations..

Everything was great. The only thing I would recommend is that on holiday weekends like this last weekend, the bar and restaurant stay open later than 2pm. We were in the bar at 1:45 and there was over 20 people in the bar waiting in line.

Need to work on asphalt roads to many pot holes, there are a lot of children playing around and bicycles and scooters. Someone might fall specially during the nighttime..

This was our 3rd year with our grandkids and once again we and the kids had a wonderful time, the staff is great and always ready to help, we love our camping spot. Just the right amount of activities which the kids love. I did notice a number offensive signs and flags that kids should not be exposed to so maybe a policy should be in place for that. Overall great time, thank you

Front desk rep not very helpful with questions re activities. Quickly referred us to website. How warm is that? Day 2 wanted to rent golf cart one day, told must be 2 day minimum. We did not rent and enjoy the golf cart. Bathroom and showers need some love. Overall, we enjoyed our time there.

Beautiful campground! Did a bike ride to the lake which was so nice. Christmas decorations all around the campground which added a festive touch. Would definitely come back here!

Stayed here for my prop motocross race at Paula raceway and honestly no regrets. I heard fox shut off the water for privateers (I am a privateer) 🤣 so I am 100% glad I was smart enough to keep my main rig here. Temecula is beautiful and I'm glad I got a chance to explore. Temecula KOA at Vail Lake gave me and my team the opportunity to do this so thank you!!!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Vail Lake is one of my favorite places in the Temecula area to relax and unwind. The grounds are clean, well-maintained, and the overall environment is peaceful and welcoming. It always feels safe, making it a great place for families, couples, or anyone looking to enjoy some time outdoors. The property has a charming general store that is convenient and adds to the campground atmosphere. There is also a really cool ice cream shop that serves delicious treats along with a variety of food items, making it easy to grab a snack or meal without leaving the property. Enjoy coming here with my family. For the pass 8 years we been coming. Looking forward in remodeling Oaks area. A little issue with 2 of the workers that is not a customer service friendly when checking in.
