Great stay, just need some new shade trees in the Arroyo area.

The only negative thing is 2 of the many bathrooms are many bathroom were old, but still clean. There is lots of beautifully remodeled bathrooms to choose from. The live music was amazing. We had a large site that was quiet and peaceful. We have stayed at many KOAs and this was by far the best. We will be coming back for many years to come.

Decent stay overall. Reason for 3 star is after check in you are on your own with nobody to lead you to your site. The lady that checked us in told us the wrong direction so wee had to find a place to turn around a 42 ft class A with kids running around everywhere on Electric motorcycles. Our site was discusting. Bird poo and grease all over picnic table and the grill. Glad we had our own.

No mirror in the men and women's restrooms in the 150 area. Difficult to find campsite. No info signs pointing the way. Sites were great. Nice and roomy.

With the exception of the very high heat, we had an enjoyable stay.

We just got back from another great stay at KOA Vail Lake. We finally had a chance to try out the Twisted Oak Cafe. It was really good, highly recommend for lunch or dinner.

We had a wonderful stay. Our spot was clean and roomy. The staff was courteous and very helpful. We look forward to booking another weekend at this KOA in the near future.

Vail Lake KOA was a truly great place for us to make a quick three day get away. We loved our stay there. Very quiet, clean, beautiful campground with things to do including walking, hiking, Ebike riding, miniature golf, and golf cart rentals. Staff are friendly and convenience store has some last minute necessities available. RV campsites have ample space, many with full hook ups.

Alot of amenities, we used the pool, rode bikes to the lake, listened to the band on Saturday night, and had a nice camp site.

Definltey a lot of great things (arts & crafts, trails), but some improvements could be made. People tend to be very loud there - having some roaming people to shut things down at 10pm would be great Some electrical boxes are in very bad shape. The entry/check-in location is not laid out well - it's awkward when solo and having to abandon your vehicle in the lane to come in to check in.

The office staff was amazing. Lots of people checking in and we got through the line very quickly.Jacob is my absolute favorite because he's very nice and quick with complete accuracy.

Dirt between the lots makes a mess inside and outside. You should have chips, grass or rock. The size of the rock you use to park the RV on is a trip hazard, especially for the elderly. You don’t enforce your 10 pm quiet rule.

Love it! Everyone's been nice ! Good wifi ,showers, it's clean and safe the lake is good fishing! Iwill point out though the Lake closes to early! Being out before 530 and it's dark after 7pm , got locked in due to sign saying dawn till dusk! Only complaint and many others where complaining! But overall I will definitely be back and it's my new favorite place tocamp

We have stayed here multiple times and always have a great time! A few suggestions to make the stay even better for all guests: Please enforce the 10pm quiet hours - there were many groups partying (very loudly) well past curfew Update the pickleball court, please!!! It could desperately use a new court and fencing. And add a few more courts so guests can enjoy simultaneously

Really need to address the power at the sites in Merlot. Terrible design, and really tough for us older folks to get underneath to connect power. 50 Amps is really getting popular...just sayin. As always, your teams are awesome.

The campground was huge! There was so much to do! However the bathrooms were terrible. The shower situation was so bad I didn't want my kids to shower there. The bathrooms need to be fixed. Also a lot of the camp roads were uneven with large potholes. Also I called to get info for our group at different times times and got various answers from people. More training might be needed.

We were hoping you guys would do an Irish type band like performed last year, right around St. Patty's day. Saturdays band was ok- not as good as last year. The campgrpund itself was beautiful. Really like the fact that we can fish at the lake now.

very nice, close to town, only thing is I wish I could bring my whole church here, but it is too expensive.

Awesome campground. Only problem, paid in full before arrival, produced a receipt, and they still made me pay an extra $111 they said was a remining balance.

2nd visit to KOA Temecula Vail Lake. Both visits have been great. They are updating some of the sites to look nicer. We stayed at the Oaks in the middle where they haven't invested on any new refurbishments yet. It's still nice, but these lots need to be more level. Very close to pool & dog park but the restroom is on top of the hill. This part is still kinda old, but will look nice when finished.

It was very enjoyable the restrooms in the Chardonnay campground were very well up kept. Loved all the amenities.

A complaint was filed due to us being provided a ma that was clearly not correct. At time of booking we spoke to person via the phone and confirmed our spot was a back in and when we arrived our spot was not what was shown at the time of reservation or what was provided to us at check in. We were driving around the campsite after dark with no clue as to where space 312 was.Anita at office was rude

I think this is a beautiful campground with great amenities. I don’t like that there are parts of the campground that they don’t provide Wi-Fi for. You get no cell service so Wi-Fi is almost necessary. When I stayed here, I was in a section that did not have a Wi-Fi access. We still had a great time. I just think it’s something they need to fix.

Awesome staff! Very clean. Enjoyable stay. We will be back.

While I love staying at this campground and am even okay with the price increases, I think it’s really awful that you now charge for someone to come in to drop someone off. My son and daughter in law came in 2 cars to drop off my grandchildren for the weekend and they were charged $20. As a KOA member and LONG time Vail Lake camper, I find this change uncalled for. Reinstate a drop off pass!

Only negative was LOUD noisy 6 neighbors next door that came in with car and rv and golf cart day after our 1st day.

This was our first time taking our RV camping and this was a great experience. Easy to use campsites, friendly staff, Nice facilities. We will be back.

The Lower Merlot is the tenement yard of the KOA franchise. It has an 18th century bathroom that Beethoven utilized.

Temecula KOA at Vail Lake is a massive RV resort with various campgrounds. The entire resort alone provides so much area to get a good walking, jogging and cycling workout. We got a good spot and, therefore, enjoyed the views, fresh air and clean atmosphere. There are lots of trees and grassy fields here, unlike RV parks that look like parking lots. It's also just a short drive away from the wineries. If you like to drink wine but don't have a designated driver, just hire an Uber or Lyft.
