My first staying at the fine facility. Was impressed. Only down side was the TVs in the cabin. But Katelyn came to the rescue. Nice birthday stay. Thank you.

Cabins are excellent! They left like home away from home. Definitely a nice way to get away and enjoy the scenic views.

Enjoyed the stay and accommodations. The one negative we encountered was the safe in our (cabin MC01) was locked when we arrived. We notified the front desk personnel in person and also left a voice mail asking for assistance. We never received a response and it was never opened for us to use.

The Lower Merlot is the tenement yard of the KOA franchise. It has an 18th century bathroom that Beethoven utilized.

Temecula KOA at Vail Lake is a massive RV resort with various campgrounds. The entire resort alone provides so much area to get a good walking, jogging and cycling workout. We got a good spot and, therefore, enjoyed the views, fresh air and clean atmosphere. There are lots of trees and grassy fields here, unlike RV parks that look like parking lots. It's also just a short drive away from the wineries. If you like to drink wine but don't have a designated driver, just hire an Uber or Lyft.
