You need shade at your pool. It’s unacceptable to require guests to haul their own easy-up each day. You also need a Jacuzzi or even 2. You have the space for it! These 2 things would make this property amazing. You also need to train your Cafe staff on being more efficient. Taking 30 mins to warm a pretzel when I was the only guest in there seems wild :(

Wonderful! Clean campground with LOTS of activities for the family. Friendly and fun staff - customer service is exceptional. LOVE the campsites - brick pavers and concrete pad with firepit and shade trees. Great experience. We will definately be returning. Thank you for a great stay!

stayed for dirty fest and had a blast! We always love vail lake! there have been so many improvements through the past 5 years or so that we have been camping in Temecula. we visit twice a year but would love to try for some more dates! (the pavement in some areas could use some help and the bathrooms could use a little revamp and maybe some mirrors) nothing major at all

We are regular Temecula KOA visitors and love so much about it. The only thing that seemed a bit tough this trip was the outside events that they had while we were there (a club volleyball event & YMCA event) that made everything so crowded. Also would prefer more laundry in Arroyo. Only 2 washers was too minimal.

We have been staying here for over 10 years. They have made many many improvements. BUT, meanwhile improvements are being made, the bathroom/showers in the "oaks" area is run down, falling apart and disgusting. Holes in ceiling, old showers/bathrooms, etc etc. Needs to be gutted or torn down and build a new one, its horrendous. But we love staying there, hope they fix it soon!

The ability to drive to the lake now is nice. The pool needs built in shade and the men’s bathroom at the pool needs stalls.

Found it to be pleasant stay , the only thing we didn’t like are the bark you laid down at all the space . It was very long and sharp sticks that stabbed you when walking on it . We hurt ourselves many times. Our daughter required medical attention .

Everything was great except for a camper across from our site. One night he was intoxicated and the KOA staff had to intervene when he tried to leave. We held onto his keys until they arrived. After that, there was an odor coming from his trailer because his black water tank wasn’t sealed and the shutoff valve was broken. Other than that, we were very pleased with the new campsites.

It was hot and we wanted to go swimming but the pools were absolutely packed with people! Please build more pools! Maybe one in each section! A lazy river would be awesome! The other issue was that the golf cart rental hours are stupid! Can’t get one until 3 pm! Return is at 11am. You are paying for it to sit overnight at your site. This is weird. Other than that we like the campground.

We always enjoy coming here. A quick, easy getaway so close to home: This campground has so much to offer and endless amenities. Maybe someday the pool will have various shade for the pool deck.See you soon.

Huge KOA. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Wide open spaces to ride bikes and big pools to swim. Definitely a spot for the family!

Sote 340 very last campsite construction every morning 7-4 was my view they didnot despite staff saying tgey should of told me- they did mot. On a sunday checkin online said only a coiple sites available when we got tgere sundsy place was 1/4 full sites everywher. Will say bathrooms a 10 best laout ive seen.

We really enjoyed our stay there. Only one suggestion. The pool area needs shade. Either some umbrellas or EZ ups. We stood at the arroyo campground. There are a lot of trees. They did a great job with remodeling. Bathrooms and shower beautiful

We just stood at the Arroyo section and loved it. Loved the upgrades they have done to the area. Looks and feels amazing. Staff is all very happy and cheerful. Best ice cream around if you get a scoop. I would like to see the mini golf area updated. Other than that, we can’t wait to come back.

I was there for the annual Dirtyfest event, was tent camping in spot T07 from Thursday, 6/4 & vacated Sunday 6/7. The facilities were excellent, had a great time, the staff was excellent, I will be back.

The girl at the counter seemed like she hated people. They never delivered our fire wood even though we payed for it. The lake is garbage. The bathroom and showers are nice. I don’t like the hidden fees. The girls at the front also neglected a customer and had to be asked to help her. Not sure if we will be back.We really liked the guy in the guard shack with the longer hair and piercings.

Many campers bring their pets and the availability of the 8 ring cap gun ammo, that you sell and are not being used in their intended way, are very frightening to our pets. The kids stack the rings on top of each other on the ground and drop large rocks on them which creates a large firecracker explosion. Very irritating.

We stayed in site 114 it was clean. At check in the cashiers ware friendly and helpful. This is our third time staying here and we will definitely return.

Dirtyfest weekend. Easy check in and great communication leading up to and during our stay. Beautiful campsite and location. Dirt tracks are great. Staff very friendly especially at the store. Food was ok (Pizza). Thanks for a great weekend and for hosting all of us BMXers!

Overall a very good stay. My site had a very nice pebble gravel 25’ and bricks with fire pit. One suggestion: relocate dog park to shaded area with trees and some grass. Perhaps near the horse shoe game area. Thanks

The grounds & facilities overall were fantastic, but we were disappointed with the site we were assigned & charged a $25 premium for. We are tent-campers, and were put in an RV end-site - the parking space and one side were all larger broken up granite rocks, and the other was uneven ground with large sticks and branches covering the ground: NOT conducive for laying on the ground comfortably.

Love staying here and the kids love the mini golf, but every time we come back, the course gets worse and worse. Stagnant water in the “water features” and putting features that steal the golf ball since they don’t work correctly- please make improvements to the mini golf area!

Enjoyed the stay , the facilities were new and very clean. a couple of recommendations though .. Improve the way finding signage around the campground and also on the bike trails. The interactive map was spotty and slow .. Planning another stay real soon..

Super noisey the SE crew was killing us partying until 3 - 4 in the morning and the ant infestation in the cabin was horrible, we went thru 2 cans of raid and could not use the top sleeping area due to the ant infestation.

The Lower Merlot is the tenement yard of the KOA franchise. It has an 18th century bathroom that Beethoven utilized.

Temecula KOA at Vail Lake is a massive RV resort with various campgrounds. The entire resort alone provides so much area to get a good walking, jogging and cycling workout. We got a good spot and, therefore, enjoyed the views, fresh air and clean atmosphere. There are lots of trees and grassy fields here, unlike RV parks that look like parking lots. It's also just a short drive away from the wineries. If you like to drink wine but don't have a designated driver, just hire an Uber or Lyft.
