The Chardonnay site we were assigned to was awesome. Initially, we wanted to be situated in the newly-renovated Arroyo section but that area was already fully-booked for Mothers Day weekend. Everyone in our group was glad we were assigned by KOA to Chardonnay.

Had a fantastic stay. Wish the spots in the middle portion of the Oaks were redone (because many of them have little privacy and are uneven), but we still had a great time.

We have come in with southern california brewers for many years. Every year koa has made improvements to many things. Every year we can count on a good experience. See you next year

We really enjoyed our stay. Great family camping locations. We really wish it wasn’t such a party scene everywhere we went Also, the e-bikes were out of control with no cares for the campgrounds.

They are upgrading the campground and it’s great. Only issue we had was the original sites they gave us our motorhome wouldn’t fit because of where the hookups were and a tree in the site. With the reservation information we gave them they most likely should have known this. But we easily changed to another site and all was well. Enjoyed our stay.

The bathrooms in the Chardonnay could use a little work however the rest of the trip the lake, the campground, the swimming pool everything was wonderful thank you

What a great experience we have had and I so impressed with the amount of improvements you have done. From the moment we arrived at the front gate they were very helpful and made sure we knew what to take with us to the office to complete our check in. Front office crew were so nice and helpful and your store is fairly priced with a great variety of things for fun and necessities. Well done!

We love camping at KOA Vaik Lake. The only thing I wish was better is that the café would have been open. We're definitely coming back!! Your staff are very professional, courteous, and friendly and the campgrounds are beautiful.

The new campsites at Arroyo Seco had nice lights and electricity and the bathrooms/showers were nicer, however: - the parking is a pain now. We used to be able to park on our campsites, now cars have to be parked away from campsites and cars got blocked in multiple times by other people. - No running water at the campsites now. Why?? - not enough bathroom stalls & TP runs out -Rocks/trip ha

The renovated campsites are really nice but a bit pricey but we did enjoy ours. The Oaks Bathroom needs a lot of work and should be prioritized before more upgraded campsites.

Attended the Southern California Homebrew Festival. We have enjoyed staying at the Temecula KOA for the last 5 years.

Campsite 87 is nice, but the ground squirells are out of control. They got under the hood of my truck, and chewed through the wiring on 2 of the engines fuel injectors. Down on power towing the trailer home, and will be difficult and expensive to repair. Please do something about the rodent population in that area of the campground.

First time using your facility. Very impressed with the campground set up and campsite selections. Only one complaint was the bathrooms in the area where sites 111 are located, they need to be upgraded. Showers are old and the flush toilets do not work properly, however, they were clean. Look forward to staying at Vail Lake KOA Resort again

Clean,,well keeped,,, quiet,,,,great place to go...my opinion tents on full hook up is a No No. Put them in the grass. Stay pricing keep it 60 to 80 a nite,,,that's a fair price,,,golf cart rental 50 a day is more reasonable. Over all the stay was great,,,oh bathrooms need painted.

We love camping at Vail lake, but this past trip had some things that were less than optimal. The new spots in arroyo look great, but ours and others had large rock that hadn’t been properly leveled and settled that caused serious trip hazards. The concrete curbs all were uneven and left trip hazards. Also, one member of your staff was incredibly rude, and drove thru the sites much too fast.

Need to raise the price for fishing. People are leaving cans trash all over. Raise it from $10 to $50.

Love the little cottage we stayed in. Plenty of parking, clean, roomy, loved the fire pit! Nice to have tables and chairs on porch, and by bar b q too. Entertainment at Bunkhouse was enjoyable too.

Always a nice stay. Bathroom upgrades are beautiful! Fantastic job! Only wish people were a little more considerate. Driving around with your music blasting on golf carts is just ridiculous and rude! Will all need our vacations, so be considerate. Really not that hard!

The campground was clean and really fun for those with bikes and children. Our issue was with our neighbors who played their outside music really loud from 7 am to 10 pm. No one from the office drove around to see that their music could be heard from 25 ft. away, which I believe was one of the campgrounds rules.

My family and I had a great time, even with the rain. Quiet time at 10:00 pm, some groups ignore this, but it wasn't bad. You might consider installing doggie stations to encourage pet owners to pick up after their dogs. Various types of campsites that will impact the level of comfort. We didn't have shade, but we didn't need it because of the weather. Will stay again, but different site.

My stay was good. But when I called to get some information about my site. The lady was not very nice or helpful!!!! And then when I was in the store. I could not believe what I was seeing! Watching one of the check-in people get pleasure out of telling a guest no, they can't do something. Was very sad and disappointing

Our annual stay at vail lake is a highlight we look forward to all year! From mini golf, to the trails, to crafting and live music.. we love this campground!

Love the campground! Will definitely be back. One very negative was the young kids on e bikes driving way to close to me while waking with my grandkids! They would come so close to us and they were driving super fast and doing wheelies! They are going to seriously injure or kill somebody. I am not against e bikes we have them, but everyday and night everytime we went for a walk. Thank you

Stayed here for my prop motocross race at Paula raceway and honestly no regrets. I heard fox shut off the water for privateers (I am a privateer) 🤣 so I am 100% glad I was smart enough to keep my main rig here. Temecula is beautiful and I'm glad I got a chance to explore. Temecula KOA at Vail Lake gave me and my team the opportunity to do this so thank you!!!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Vail Lake is one of my favorite places in the Temecula area to relax and unwind. The grounds are clean, well-maintained, and the overall environment is peaceful and welcoming. It always feels safe, making it a great place for families, couples, or anyone looking to enjoy some time outdoors. The property has a charming general store that is convenient and adds to the campground atmosphere. There is also a really cool ice cream shop that serves delicious treats along with a variety of food items, making it easy to grab a snack or meal without leaving the property. The bar is another great feature, offering a fun place to relax and enjoy a drink after a day of exploring. Whether you are camping, fishing, or simply looking for a quiet getaway, Vail Lake offers a clean, relaxing, and enjoyable experience. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice escape in the Temecula area.

Enjoy coming here with my family. For the pass 8 years we been coming. Looking forward in remodeling Oaks area. A little issue with 2 of the workers that is not a customer service friendly when checking in.
