We've enjoyed staying at Vail since before it was even a KOA. We love the campgrounds, but we are very concerned with the golf carts and e-bikes being driven through the sites at speeds that are extremely unnecessary. With young children who just want to ride their mountain bikes through the sites it's uncomfortable.

Really enjoyed our spot. Love the friendly, helpful staff. The cafe’ make awesome GF pizza. They wipe everything down and use freshly cleaned utensils as to not cross contaminate.

Campground was empty and they put someone right next to me that blared their music from 10am til 10 pm. No respect. They should have put them anywhere else since it was so empty. Activity area had all these activities planned on it but everytime I asked, they acted like they didn’t know anything about them.

We had a great time! Miniature golf and the live band was so much fun! One thing that we disliked was one of the employees at the main building, she was very crude and seemed to have no patience. We were a pretty large party and on multiple occasions when we would come in she would yell to shut the door before all of our party was entering or exiting the store. Just left a bad taste.

I like the new bathrooms but I was disappointed by the tent area. The spaces are very close together and for some spaces in the back they would have to walk through another tent space to get to them. If they had a golf cart there would be no way to reach the outlet in their spot. Having an option for a tent area with more space and easier access would be nice. The website should have updated pics.

We love coming to Temecula KOA! It is a wonderful place to get together with family.. Plenty of things to do for everybody!

We stayed in a cabin with our family, and it was clean, spacious, and perfect for our group of eight. The mattresses were surprisingly comfortable—even better than some expensive hotels we’ve stayed at. The campground was very clean, and the staff was friendly and outstanding. We all had a great stay!

Chardonnay bathrooms ceiling falling in, paint peeling, needs to be redone. Pools are beautiful, sites are large.

Easy to make reservation, easy to check in, super ftiendly and helpfull staff, outstanding amenities very well maintained, and the MTB trails are the best in socal. Cant wait to go back.

We have been coming to Vail Lake for many years, and it never disappoints. Every visit brings great memories, beautiful scenery, and quality time with family and friends. It has become one of our favorite places. We always have an amazing time!

Deluxe lodging-vale lake. all good, no complaints. The pool very nice. Reason for 3 stars was the horrible customer service until older woman came in . Waited all moring in the main center to rent bikes, no one showed up! When someone finally arrived we were told, there was only 1 bike and 1 with flat. No gulf cart rental until 3pm. Coffee in café was awful. Deluted, high priced gave a nice tip.

Loved all the improvements to Arroyo Seco and can’t wait to come back for a longer stay! Many thanks to the awesome staff too. Izzy was a great bartender at the Bunkhouse bar and the Travel Tavern.

Love this place, with that said I would like to see the following changes: 1) Bunk house needs to be open longer hours in general. Friday, Saturday and Sunday should be longer hours. Or base the hours off the occupancy. 2) Fix the common use bathroom / shower spaces. The holes in the ceiling near the overhead lights, combined with shower head spraying water upwards is a bad combination.

We have been coming here for years. The one thing that really needs a makeover is the restroom in the oaks. That is really the only negative I have. They haven’t been redone in the 30 plus years I’ve been coming here.

We love to stay here when we go out to go camping . The new side that opened looks great. The bathrooms are super clean and nice too. The only critique I have would be that the campground needs to have more dog stations with bags. I did notice that there is a lot of dog poop that people did not pick up. And I think the reason is is because they had nothing to pick it up with.

I love the grounds. But the cabin we rented was infested with ants. We come every year and I haven’t seen this before. My son woke up covered both nights and I spent hours trying to clean and remove them. Please do better.

This is my all time favorite campground. One complaint is the pickle ball court fencing is full of holes and in disrepair and way to low. I always enjoy the pool area. It is so nice that there are 3 pools and a lot of chairs and space to lounge and swim. I will say there was a lot of small pieces of trash throughout our campsite. It would be nice if the campsites were cleaned of the trash.

I really enjoyed my stay. The grounds are beautiful. You guys have so much to offer so many things to do. The one negative is that I was able to smell the sewer. The fact that it was a nice breezy weekend was a blessing with respect to that. Lol.

The staff was wonderful everybody was extremely helpful. The food at the café is delicious the bar they serve excellent drinks. The music on the weekends was just so much fun. Everything is just a wonderful place to stay. There’s something for everybody that’s for darn sure.

Outstanding, we will be back! On your drink cantina golf cart you need some sort of horn or music playing to let people know it’s driving around the camp sites. Like a ice cream truck.

This place is huge. For so many people it could use another big swimming pool. The original area’s such as the Oaks/Patio and nearby sites could use newer repaved paved roads, its easy to get off balance when there are pieces of pavement missing while riding a bike or taking a jog.

Well the check in lady was very rude . Considering the price for a night. Lake is slug to even fish. Pools were packed to the brim . We thought this would be nicer than staying at near by fox raceway (primitive camping) and were mistaken . Full hookups were nice. Maybe better luck at another KOA .

Great RV camping with a great staff. We enjoyed camping there so much it has been our go to get away three time this month. The staff is outstanding! They are friendly and so helpful when we need firewood, ice and things we forget to bring. Best KOA I've ever stayed at. Jack

Way too busy, no maps, wood took AGES to be delivered, tent pad wasn’t easily accessible, construction everywhere. I should have saved the money and just slept in my car. Way overpriced.

Cabin set up was great but ant issues took time away from enjoying it. No staff to address issues after 5:00pm nor did staff respond to messages left after hours.

First time we've camped at Vail KOA and we really enjoyed our time spent there. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and this campground has it all. There are plenty of sites to choose from, convenient store that had, recreation room, bar, outdoor stage area, live music, walking trials, etc. The best thing we liked was going to the swimming pools (3), well kept up and super clean. Awesome

Stayed in the Oaks pull thru. Hopefully the restrooms/showers will be upgraded like Arroyo. Maybe potholes be filled. Still a great place! Thanks

The Lower Merlot is the tenement yard of the KOA franchise. It has an 18th century bathroom that Beethoven utilized.

Temecula KOA at Vail Lake is a massive RV resort with various campgrounds. The entire resort alone provides so much area to get a good walking, jogging and cycling workout. We got a good spot and, therefore, enjoyed the views, fresh air and clean atmosphere. There are lots of trees and grassy fields here, unlike RV parks that look like parking lots. It's also just a short drive away from the wineries. If you like to drink wine but don't have a designated driver, just hire an Uber or Lyft.
