Nice time! Really enjoyed the Halloween decor. Would like to see the roads throughout repaved, such as what you recently did in part of the Oaks area. It needs finished, however, as does Rincon and Chardonnay areas. So many potholes.

We had a group stay of three days in the Chardonnay Mesa and everyone seemed to love it. My only issue was that the restroom although showing it to be an ADA restroom on the door had little to be compliant with ADA, IE only a grab bar in the toilet and shower with no place to sit or hang anything in the shower. I can only speak of the men’s restroom. Otherwise love this campground!

Golf cart contest should be voted on by audience of campers not staff. Prizes should be scariest most original and funniest. Not 1 2 3. Costume contest should be through applause not staff.. Staff to use profanity, directing golf carts with children present. Haunted house not as good as last year. Headless horseman, carriage ride Should be every year.

Love the camp grounds, the cleanliness of the facilities, friendliness of the staff. I see alot of improvements happening, with the camp sites which is great. The bathrooms which very clean. I believe need a little love, like new roofs. But that would not stop me from returning again and again. Thank you to you and your staff at Vail Lake Temecula.

We have been coming to the Halloween event for about eight years straight now. This was probably the worst run weekend we’ve ever seen. It’s feels like it was run by a bunch of teenagers, and at one point we even got yelled at with profanities from one of the employee. It was only because we were trying to cross the street rather than turn left. Lots more to say but out of characters. Go figur

We been going for the Halloween event for at least 8 years and each year it has been getting worse. My biggest complaint is all the high speed E Bikes and golf carts. It has become very dangerous with teenagers racing around the campground. The person next to said they were hit by a golf cart and there bicycle was wrecked.For this reason we are thinking we may not be back.

Love staying at this location. I believe the security needs to be addressed during peak weekends (Halloween). There seems to be no security presence throughout the park especially in the evening.

We were in a powered site that lost power many time throughout the day . We’ve stayed here lots of times and never had this issue

Great stay as always!! Noticed a lot of e bikes and kids riding them with no helmets, along with kids on golf carts driving recklessly. We truly enjoy this event and cruising in our golf cart and enjoy decking everything out it’s our families most looked forward to trip each year! Bummed we can’t be there next year but 2025 we can’t wait for! Ps put Jess back on the cut water cart!! She’s

The only issue I had was the out of control parents that let their children drive golf carts and I mean children and young teens driving on the roads way too fast when there’s a little three year olds riding their bicycles. Unfortunately the lack of controlling the under age drivers in golf carts is overwhelming. Kids drinking and driving till 1am is not good. Also the amount of guess you guys allowed per campsite is out of control. I seen tons of spots with well over 10 people staying at each one with 4 or more cars per spot. Koa needs to do better. Also at the price we pay to stay there the haunted maze sucked.

Our friends had decorations stolen in the early morning hours. Outsiders pulled into space151 that was empty and partied and started a bon fire. Im sure they are the ones who stole all the stuff at 3:30 am. Dissapointed in all the young kids driving golf carts in the evening and recklessly. The roads and potholes are in need of repair still.we pay lots of money to stay there. Where is security!!!

You don’t enforce the underage kids racing up and down the street on golf carts , you don’t enforce the E bike riders popping wheelies and almost hitting people. The 10:00 quiet time is not enforced either. We asked an employee about it and they said they don’t get paid enough to do anything about it. Decorations were stolen. They is no security at night. You need to have more law enforcemen

We have been camping at vail lake for years. The oaks section is the most expensive out of all but has some of the worst roads and site quality. Koa has improved some of the main roads but it seems like they are more focused on how to make the most money as opposed to improving the park.

We love Temecula KOA and camp a few times a year there. We have been camping for Halloween weekend for 6 years now. This year was a different experience. The crowd has changed. There were way more cars than usual so it seems like more day guests came in and they were rowdy and disrespectful. This year’s “Halloween Themed” weekend was disappointing. No haunted houses, seemed like less decorations in the village and even the Oaks weren’t decorated like all the years past. They only had a very short creepy trail at the village. We have been doing this trip for over 8 years. Hopefully the KOA doesn’t take away all the magic of Vail Lake.

The festivities offered for the Halloween weekend are great. But the restrooms in Arroyo are disgusting and falling apart. My husband and son couldn’t use the men’s room at all while we were there because it was so wrecked. This is a loud weekend to stay and is more like a 24 hour party than camping. I’d love to come try it on a less crazy weekend.

Last year's Halloween trail and 3 mazes where EPIC! This year you guys dropped the ball on the mazes. Could have been a lot better. Bring back the company you used last year!!¡

We have been coimng for decades, Hopfully the roads get an upgrade when the Arroyo section finally gets its upgrade. I have been going to "Vail Lake" campground since the '70's when it was called Butterfield country! Great times and memories with the Kids and grandkids. Disappointed by no Haunted House and appreciate enforcing the age restrictions on golf carts.

Absolutely beautiful and clean property. This was by far our favorite out of nine different RV parks over the course of a two-week vacation. The office checked us in quickly and easily. The property manager drove a golf cart that we followed in our RVs to our sites. The sites were well marked and easy to pull in. The bathrooms very clean and the property well manicured. We highly recommend!

We are regulars to the campground and always love it! However, this was the first time we’ve been there during the Halloween festivities! We most likely will not come back during that month. It was completely chaotic, golf carts and cars driving way too fast with kids that were not of age to be driving. The staff seemed not as friendly as normal. There needs to be a higher presence of security

First time at halloween event it had great fun activities very festive! I would recommend No golf carts during trick or treating in the oaks soo dangerous!! Arroyo section bathrooms need a make over Need camp hosts to come around and enforce quiet hours!

The campground has beautiful trees and some of the sites have nice gravel parking spaces with new patio areas and tables. Unfortunately, the screaming coyotes freaked our dog out.

We stayed #72 Chardonnay Mesa and what a great space … the view from the back of our trailer was amazing, sunsets and little view lake was beautiful! Also your at the end of the street, so quiet and close to the bathrooms. Staff was super accommodating, so very nice!! We will stay here again for sure!

I love staying at Vail Lake snd gave you a good rating. However our last night there people still had their music blasting until after 11pm. After they shut their music off. They stayed up talking and yelling until almost 2 pm. Someone was also driving around their golf cart with vulgar music playing until 11pm. First time this has happened at Vale. Disappointed that no employee intervened.

This koa is beautiful for the trees and swimming pools but that’s about it. The restrooms are in terrible conditions and need to be upgraded to what a koa resort should be. The roads are crumbling and the access to the lake has been restricted for several years now. This is a good resort for locals but I wouldn’t recommend traveling long distances to camp here.

This was our first time and are enchanted with the place. Great view from Chardonnay! Lots to do for every age. Staff was friendly and helpful. Plenty of room for everyone. And just simply beautiful. E-bikes to the lake was fun. Real wood fire pits. We left on Friday and going right back on Monday!

Recently spent some time there, loved it. Well kept up, nice staff, was nice to be able to visit the on-site cafe and have a drink with some new friends. The only negative thing I'd mention, some people drove too fast, lrg aggressive dog breeds, a person brought a dog to the pool. Pools were nice and the on-site cabins looked good. Rules weren't followed.
