This was our first time at KOA Temecula. We enjoyed riding our bikes, swimming in the pools, visiting the lake and walking our dogs. The staff were kind and helpful. My husband and I will definitely book another site in the future.

I love going to your koa except for a couple of things number 1 very unprofessional check in procedures you should take all the money up front and check in at the first shack like every other camp ground.the bottleneck of check in is a joke with no place to park and having to stop and go in the store. 2 maybe refurbish the mini golf it’s in sad shape.

Staff called based on a note and accommodated my wants to upgrade. I really appreciated that. Pretty empty weekend, but we had a soccer tournament down the street which makes the site ideal for us. We always enjoy our stay. The Campground is always clean and well maintained with friendly staff to help.

We love this KOA! Our first trip with our travel trailer and we had a full hook up back in site. Everything worked great including the map to our site! The kids enjoyed the basketball court, swimming pool, and mini golf! We stopped by the market and the team was super helpful. The wood delivery is so handy! We only stayed a night so we didnt have enough time to do it all, but we will be back!

We liked almost everything except for the Sunday close early at bar and restaurant. I know it make sense to you based on people staying but we had to go into town to get something to eat. 30 amp on sites is ok but prefer 50 amp. Check-in guy was great and very friendly. We will be back.

Been coming for years, but the pavement needs redone throughout the park badly. Hate the cabins in Rincon taking away some of the best sites and changing the beauty of the views.

We chose KOA because we loved that it was family friendly & had lots of activities. One disappointment was the people working the activities desk were not helpful. They were not knowledgeable & gave incorrect information, every activity started at least 20 minutes later than the time posted, and they spent most of the time staring at their phones instead of getting activities set up on time.

I gave my name to the check in person and she could not find it she gave me a woman's name that was nothing close to mine. I went back to my coach to get my reservation number and gave it to her she snapped at me because I didn't give her my middle initial. This is first KOA that no map was issued with all the info of the campground. instead I was given verbal directions which were wrong.

Love the campground. We were told that the only spots for our family together (3 spots) were way out in Merlot which makes it a long walk to pool and office area but there were all kinds of spots open all over camp ground. Also check in representative was not friendly, in a hurry so she could go on break

The campground is well kept and everyone was wonderful. The miniature golf may area may need an update soon. Another recommendations would be to open the restaurant bar during the week as they were closed mid week and opened on Thursday I asume through Sunday. Lastly, no firewood can be brought in and must be purchased there. Please inform campers earlier.

It was mid week, so very quiet and we had full access to an empty velocity bike park (that was fun!). Bathrooms could use some updating, everything else was closed.

Everything was great, but the bathroom was very neglected with paint chipping, some locks on bathroom stalls missing and the shower was very neglected with paint missing, and looking very dingey. The miniature golf course was pretty neglected too with ripples in the carpet and holes everywhere in it, etc.

First time camping but have visited friends and family previously. Great job on the improvements and new camping spots, keep them coming. A suggestion i would make is of there is a way for you to mention the oak tree location at spot 311. I know that oak trees cannot be removed in CA but its placement made it a challenge to park and exit with a larger trailer. Other than that you are doing great.

We always have a great time we stay here. I think the only small issue was that only half the burners of the BBQ worked. We will still be coming back. The staff is always so kind and helpful. We appreciate that.

Our space #12 was nice & the people in the pull thrus were quiet. We could hear music up to 3:00 am in the spaces to the other side of us. It looked like large groups of people like up to 50 people sitting together in the grass area. That is not good!!

We love this campground. We would just suggest checking the bbqs more often. Ours was really dirty and we could not get the gas on. I realize that some people do not really clean up after themselves but checking the grills would be great. Luckily we brought a portable grill.

Our favorite KOA to stay at . The near by wineries make a great adventure. Fishing is a huge plus since the lake re-opened . Nice large pool area . The live music on the weekends in the evenings is so fun !

We had a beautiful Mother’s Day. Enjoyed the pool. Took pictures by the lake. Sat under the big trees at our campground. We are in love with the market lights at the tent sites

Stayed for Mother’s Day weekend. As always, great entertainment in the main quad all weekend. Our spot was nice and level but I was hoping that KOA would have had more improvements to the sites by now. Many are still just dirt and gravel. Also, the cost per night is pretty expensive now. If the cost was lower this would be 5 stars.

Stay is always pleasurable. Just wanted to let you know that spot 142 in the oaks the sewer connection does not allow the hose to screw in. It was this way last year too. We also let you know last year. Just wanted to let you know again.

Fun place, but the conditions of the park are sub par. Do some debris management with the fallen leaves and branches. Grade the rv spots so that it’s not an absolute chore to level the rv. And for god sakes fix the condition of the roads so that our kids can ride bikes and scooters safely.

The road conditions in Rincon are unsafe. The electrical hookups are old and don’t hold the plug. No 110 outlet.

Stayed here for my prop motocross race at Paula raceway and honestly no regrets. I heard fox shut off the water for privateers (I am a privateer) 🤣 so I am 100% glad I was smart enough to keep my main rig here. Temecula is beautiful and I'm glad I got a chance to explore. Temecula KOA at Vail Lake gave me and my team the opportunity to do this so thank you!!!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Vail Lake is one of my favorite places in the Temecula area to relax and unwind. The grounds are clean, well-maintained, and the overall environment is peaceful and welcoming. It always feels safe, making it a great place for families, couples, or anyone looking to enjoy some time outdoors. The property has a charming general store that is convenient and adds to the campground atmosphere. There is also a really cool ice cream shop that serves delicious treats along with a variety of food items, making it easy to grab a snack or meal without leaving the property. The bar is another great feature, offering a fun place to relax and enjoy a drink after a day of exploring. Whether you are camping, fishing, or simply looking for a quiet getaway, Vail Lake offers a clean, relaxing, and enjoyable experience. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice escape in the Temecula area.

Enjoy coming here with my family. For the pass 8 years we been coming. Looking forward in remodeling Oaks area. A little issue with 2 of the workers that is not a customer service friendly when checking in.
