Beautiful campground. Has everything you need for family and stay.

One of the nicest campgrounds I’ve ever been to. I will definitely be back.

Nice RV park, but what definitely stood out were the bathrooms! Broken water knobs, holes in the roof, bathroom toilets loose, cracked floor in the showers! Very disappointing… especially for what we were charged!

I Love KOA Vail Lake

It was amazing. The only problem is our location t08 doesn’t have place to park car or pull car into. I hurt my ankle taking things back to my car and when we were picking up

Loud music being played by several different sites in the evening is completely unacceptable. It even went in past 10pm, makes me not want to return to this KOA.

Great staff, the guy that checked me in/out for golf cart rental even remember me by name. Lots to do. This wasn’t my first time and definitely won’t be my last. Great job to all.

Stay was excellent. Staff was friendly all around. Cafe and bar staff service was great ! Maybe the only small downside to the visit was alot of the red ants at the pool. Maybe a quick pesticide spray would fix that but other than that I would definitely be returning soon.

I have been here before and loved it as a tent camper. Since my last visit they have remodeled and while it looks amazing for RVers it's terrible for tent campers. They have literally taken away all of the old tent sites and now about 5 sites are now huddled together in one section. I got site T03 and this was stacked on top of the other 2 sites. Luckily they moved us to the RV section.

It was during summer so I knew it would be hot. The resort should have shade covers for the pool. Also there needs to be a better map online or paper maps given. The resort has great amenities and we did enjoy our time there. We will return just not during summer.

Originally set up in Arroyo area. Nice sites, but not enough space or trees for my liking. I went to office and moved to an Oaks site with patio and grill. Worth the extra money for sure. Bathroom was much nicer and newer in Arroyo area. Bathrooms in Oaks need attention, very old and worn. Staff was friendly.

The staff are wonderful! Enjoyed the entertainment. Only complaint is the roads need needs new asphalt. Rough riding a bike.

Too many people on ea site with tents and very loud music that everyone had to listen to. Not my idea of camping.

Always a great time here! Love the upgrades to Arroyo! The entertainment and activities were great. I can't wait to see what further updates they make to the Oaks and other areas.

Campground is clean and staff is friendly. Campsites are large. There’s plenty of activities for the kids and parents. Live music in the village area with food and a bar. It was like a resort on a camping budget. We loved it!!!

We were able to enjoy our trip with family in the Rincon section. We were grateful for the hook ups and the grassy area right in the middle for our kids to play. We hope to come back and enjoy a different section, possibly a more shaded area next time.

We loved the new section we stayed in with all the spacious pull-thrus. We also enjoyed all the accommodations you provide with the pools, restaurant and bar along with all the things for kids to play. The park was very clean and our stay was very pleasant. Thanks.

We come here annually, especially for the Fourth of July! We love it. Our kids have grown up in a sense at Vail Lake KOA. Every year the park gets better, with new improvements, accommodations, and friendly staff. It was great to see the road to the lake was fully open. We will be back, as we have pre-booked for next year already.

I would give KOA a higher rating, I did have a great stay and time but the restrooms really need to be renovated. Although, there were two renovated restroom buildings on the other side of the campsite which were awesome but to far from my site

We’ve been staying at your campground for last several years same spot and it’s always been a fun time. This year not so much, we’ve decided not to return next year. Barking dogs(owners left pets behind), a very large tent group burning offsite wood that smelled up motorhome and camping site unbearably. We were told only purchased wood could be burned. Kids driving golf cart recklessly in p

We love Vail Lake! This is our 6th year staying for the 4th of July and our favorite trip of the year! The campground is beautiful, has great food, coffee, and activities for kids. The pool is so fun and the the 4th of July party is awesome, the addition of food was great this year. Miranda and the drink cart girl were wonderful!

We enjoyed the stay at cabin, it was comfortable and spacious

We love Vail Lake and we always stay in the cabins. I will say this time the cabins seemed pretty dirty on the inside. We still had a great time !

Very friendly staff, clean campsites, and shower. Love the live music. Plan on staying here every year.

I’m not sure if my complaint is due to the holiday weekend, but the golf carts in the park were out of control, with no one overseeing what was going on. Very young kids driving the carts that I’m fairly certain did not even have a driver’s license. Not to mention the screaming and the horns blasting all day and into the night. I’m all about having fun and letting kids be kids, but this wa

Super fun time for fourth of July. We had a nice campsite with plenty of shade. We will come back again

Sites are very unlevel and have not been re-leveled for some time. I tried to level my coach and three of the four wheels were off the ground. I had to back up some 10 feet to aid in leveling. Now only one tire was off the ground but I was now over 39 feet from the sewer. There was no cover for the sewer and it was full of leaves and dirt. When connecting to water the water spigot fell off.

We stayed at site 193 in Rincon, first timers. Great small campground up there. The grandkids loved the pools, the activities, riding around in golf carts, the ice cream in the general store, and the mini golf. As first timers, we got lost finding Rincon and would have appreciated a sign or two pointing the turns on the way.

Had a fantastic time. This was our first time staying on 4th of July weekend. We will be staying here every 4th of July.

Fantastic grounds. Very nice staff. Bathrooms/showers were a little rough but ok for camping. The obnoxious e-bikes ruin the camping weekend for us. There’s no care or courtesy from the kids riding them and they constantly nearly ran you over.

The Lower Merlot is the tenement yard of the KOA franchise. It has an 18th century bathroom that Beethoven utilized.

Temecula KOA at Vail Lake is a massive RV resort with various campgrounds. The entire resort alone provides so much area to get a good walking, jogging and cycling workout. We got a good spot and, therefore, enjoyed the views, fresh air and clean atmosphere. There are lots of trees and grassy fields here, unlike RV parks that look like parking lots. It's also just a short drive away from the wineries. If you like to drink wine but don't have a designated driver, just hire an Uber or Lyft.
