We love KOA Temecula! We used to camp but since we sold our trailer, we use the cabins. The entire park is clean and so well maintained. The staff is friendly and always so helpful. Highly recommend this KOA whether you are camping or staying in the cabins.

Was relaxing. Only problem was that our patio area, table, chairs and fire ring had not been cleaned when we arrived. Had to wipe everything down before we could sit down. Had to go to the store to ask them to send someone to our site to clean out the trash in the fire ring.

We love everything about the Halloween experience at Vail lake. I wish there was a cheaper parking option. Can't we park extra cars up top for less than $20 per day? Thank you for everything else-we love it!

It’s always a blast to stay during the Halloween time. The haunted house was great! My one and only concern is that I think during the trick or treating, that the golf carts shouldn’t be allowed to drive around. It seems too crowded and there are too many little kids that don’t pay attention. Otherwise, fabulous!

Wonderful staff at check-in, beautiful oak tree camp ground.Restrooms need renovation!,We loved our patio site for RV but had to ask the previous campers to kindly vacate half hour late. The online liability waiver software has glitches that require multiple confirmation rounds. Lots of motorized bikes, music pumping from golf carts with political signs, noisy. All in all, great family place!

Loved it except our T.V. didn't work properly, last year and this year. We had to call help 2xs and took a while. For the price that we ozzy, we shouldn't have this problem. Also you need more pots and pans in the cabins.

Awesome as always! We love getting to see and interact with Anita, Ricky, Gloria, Cheyenne and Sedona to name a few. I do have one issue. I had to use the campground restroom in the Merlot section right before leaving because our trailer was unhooked and ready to go. That restroom was in dire need of cleaning and repairs/updates. I know the focus is on others things now, but this needs attention

We always enjoy our yearly Halloween weekend here. Fun amenities, clean place, nice people. The Halloween event has become much less crowded over the years which we like. Already booked for next year!

I did not like they changed the cafe menu to limited numbers of items during the Haunt weekend stay. They should have notified campers in advance.

We love the patios. Two complaints. It would be nice if the BBQ'S we're cleaned off, and fixing the showers. Other than that, love the place.

We really enjoyed staying at this KOA. The staff was friendly and the rv sites were large and spacious. We had a great time walking and hiking around the property and made it out to Vail Lake. We look forward to coming back and checking out the other amenities that are offered. We would absolutely recommend this KOA!

The campsite is very clean. However we asked for a lake view and the site given was not exactly one when there was plenty of other sites available with a lake view

This has been our 10th year and the grounds and staff are always great. I do want to highlight Ms Paula cleaning lady conducting her job at Chardonnay bathroom they were always clean and always felt comfortable walking in.

Staff were friendly and the facility was well-kept. The Halloween event was great fun for all — good job, KOA! Suggested Improvements: The campground bathrooms were quite unpleasant and uncomfortable. The public area near the store has stairs that are very difficult to navigate for those with low vision. Adding clear signage and high-contrast tape to mark the stairs would be very helpful.

Vail Lake KOA is amazing! Kiddos and adults had a great time celebrating the halloween events! The Haunted maze was crazy! I highly recommend!!

Stayed for Halloween weekend 1. We were so bummed to see that there were no jump houses and slides this year for the little ones! This is our 5th year and it’s always something we look forward to. Will they not be there next year either?

Our cabin had mice droppings. The guy in charge of house cleaning moved us to another cabin and was great to deal with. He even gave us some firewood. Please thank him for us. We had a great time with the grandkids

We come every year and love it! Noticed some of the spots have been graveled in, we are in spot 148, it’s a nice spot, but very dirty, would be really nice if it also had gravel. Other than that, park is very clean and friendly staff!

Love this campground! One of our most favorites! Especially during the Halloween season. Really enjoyed seeing all the camp sites decorated and the kids in costume. Only thing that is concerning are all the E/bikes and the young children riding then way to fast around the campground.

The only thing we were dissatisfied with was the camp spot; the tree branches were over grown and made backing in difficult. Our ladder was affected and damaged by the branches. Also, that the electrical hook-ups are only 30 amp (had to purchase an adapter) when most newer rigs use 50amps.

The stay was nice, liked the location and that it was not too crowed. I wish there were better offers to be able to rent a golf cart for a day, I wanted to rent it on Sunday and was told pick up time at 3 and return time at 5, made no sense to rent for 2 hours, Front desk/gift shop staff not friendly at all (Gloria) seemed bothered when I asked questions, maybe they were having a hard day.

Stayed here for my prop motocross race at Paula raceway and honestly no regrets. I heard fox shut off the water for privateers (I am a privateer) 🤣 so I am 100% glad I was smart enough to keep my main rig here. Temecula is beautiful and I'm glad I got a chance to explore. Temecula KOA at Vail Lake gave me and my team the opportunity to do this so thank you!!!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Vail Lake is one of my favorite places in the Temecula area to relax and unwind. The grounds are clean, well-maintained, and the overall environment is peaceful and welcoming. It always feels safe, making it a great place for families, couples, or anyone looking to enjoy some time outdoors. The property has a charming general store that is convenient and adds to the campground atmosphere. There is also a really cool ice cream shop that serves delicious treats along with a variety of food items, making it easy to grab a snack or meal without leaving the property. The bar is another great feature, offering a fun place to relax and enjoy a drink after a day of exploring. Whether you are camping, fishing, or simply looking for a quiet getaway, Vail Lake offers a clean, relaxing, and enjoyable experience. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice escape in the Temecula area.

Enjoy coming here with my family. For the pass 8 years we been coming. Looking forward in remodeling Oaks area. A little issue with 2 of the workers that is not a customer service friendly when checking in.
