This was our first trip to Vail Lake KOA. Our family had a blast. We've stayed at many KOAs through the years, and this is by far our favorite. For the last several years, we've tried to stay at different locations for Thanksgiving week, and we enjoyed our stay so much that we've already made our reservations to return next year.

Large sites. Nice village area. The bathrooms and showers are not what I would call KOA standard. Other KOAs are nice and clean. These have black spots all over shower, no mirror, the soap didn’t work. Other than that, nice people and nice area where it sits.

Enjoyed the stay and accommodations. The one negative we encountered was the safe in our (cabin MC01) was locked when we arrived. We notified the front desk personnel in person and also left a voice mail asking for assistance. We never received a response and it was never opened for us to use.

I love this place but the internet didn't work. We had problems with it for 3 days. When we asked the staff they were not very helpful. They just said probably too many people using it which was not true. There were not many people at the campground. Late the night before we left suddenly the 5g internet appeared then it worked great. Also, You can't bring your own wood.

We won't be back. We had planned to visit again. But, they let someone else book our spot. Every year, we are told in order to get our same spot for the next year, we have to be in the spot. We always are, we come at the same time each year. This year, they let someone book our spot for next year, when only we should be able to. They broke the rule, we have had to follow.

We had a fantastic stay. This campground is huge! So much to do from pickleball, mountain bike riding, fishing, mini golfing and we loved the festive environment. Staff is friendly and helpful. One of the best KOA experiences we have had. We will be back with family next time!

Been going there for years!!! It’s about time you guys remodel those Restrooms!!! Half the toilets don’t work Showers are nasty!!! For the amount of MONEY YOU GUYS ARE CHARGING!!!!!Also internet doesn’t work!!! I’m telling my friends don’t go there!! I’m done You guys are ripping us off!!!!

My family loves vail lake koa. We always have a good time. The staff is friendly and nice. The only thing I would recommend is the bar to be open on Sunday till at least 7-8. Especially so close to a holiday.

We had a great relaxing time! Had a nice trip up to vail lake, and walks around the campground. Plenty of different things to do. Will bring bikes on our trip next time!

We had a great time we were in space 132 the right of us had a huge bonfire loud music drinking and did nothing to quite hours at 10:00 pm they kept getting louder and louder till way after midnight I completed and the koa people never came to take care of so we hardly got any sleep this was not acceptable you need to report and keep yo the quiet hour of 10: pm they no consideration for all peole

No live music sunday and bar closed early. Front desk staff was rude. Left at 1230 got charged a late check out fee. This place is taking the fun out of camping and its going downhill.

3 day, 2 night stay with my husband and two sons. We had a wonderful time, mini golfed, explored around the large campground, and made new friends that we are planning our next trip with. The food was tasty and the bar was delicious and fairly priced. Next time, we will make time for to fish at the lake and maybe rent a golf cart. We can't wait to visit again and to make Vail Lake KOA a tradition.

We really liked the KOA Temecula. I just wished that the bathrooms would get a little TLC. When taking a shower, you should be able to feel clean. But looking at the stain/dirty walls and floors make you feel the opposite.

Very disappointed no live music on Saturday. There should be a back up plan always for cancelations. It swayed us to book those nights and to sway our friends to join us at your koa

I’ve stayed here multiple times and it seems they continue to focus on cabins vs rvers. My site had trash in the fire pit and around the area itself. Most of the staff was friendly but the front desk area was a bit curt with someone inquiring about golf carts. I wish they’d put some energy into upkeep as the roads need to be repaid. We really enjoyed staying there as our first time camping! Those quiet times are appreciated. We didn't go to the activities, but maybe next time. Even though weather was raining on Friday & Saturday, it was still a great weekend. Noticed it gets cold there. Loved seeing kids out and about. Loved that the people are so friendly!! I hope next time to get the spot with table and chairs all set up.

Great stay in the beautiful setting of “ Chardonnay “ level. We enjoyed watching birds,rabbits and more! Had some great ice cream at the restaurant and great beer at the bar! Picked up some cool stuff at the store as well.

This KOA has to be one of the cleanest camp grounds I’ve been to, and we have been to a lot of koas on our cross country trip. Customer service, friendly staff, easy access to shopping stores and the beautiful mountain range. This is now our favorite spot. Oh and did I mention there lake! Thank you for making our trip a wonderful time

We’ve been coming here for the last 10 years and it is great to see how KOA has improved Vail Lake RV Park. And now that the road to Vail Lake itself is open and greatly improved - Suggestion - Just in case there was a need to evacuate the park quickly (fires) currently there’s only one way out. It would be great if the original access to Vail Lake from route 79 could be reopened?

We love staying here. We used to camp in our trailer. So, when we sold it we were so sad until we realized you have cabins there. The cabins are so well maintained and offer everything we need for a great camping experience! We also are so appreciative of the staff. Your staff members are always so nice and helpful. Highly recommend KOA Vail Lake!

Staff are great! Friendly, helpful and courteous. The site is nice and clean. The issue are bathrooms and showers. Dilapidated, Needs Paint, Holes in walls and Showers, and floors are disgusting. Too much energy and funding have been allocated for your Cabins and your bathrooms and RV Campers are suffering for it!

We like Vail Lake KOA. There was a very large group right across from us (we were in site 185) big party Friday & Saturday. Loud music day & night. Kids driving golf carts unsafely. The party people were bragging they have been kicked out of many campgrounds, this was their first time back to Vail Lake in a year. We tried to go to your bar to watch football on Sun aft but it was closed.

There was a large party in sites in the 140's - 150's. LOTS of noise until around midnight Friday and Saturday. Large white commercial tent, children driving golf carts andebikes unsafely. They they had been kicked out before. Our 18 mo old granddaughter and family were to be in 150 but cancelled due to the rain. Good thing! They would have been misserable. KOA needs better security patrols

Ian, Tim and Linda knocked it out of the park for us last weekend. They were very accommodating, courteous and professional. My only complaint is that there was loud music in the evenings. We’ll definitely be back!

Stayed here for my prop motocross race at Paula raceway and honestly no regrets. I heard fox shut off the water for privateers (I am a privateer) 🤣 so I am 100% glad I was smart enough to keep my main rig here. Temecula is beautiful and I'm glad I got a chance to explore. Temecula KOA at Vail Lake gave me and my team the opportunity to do this so thank you!!!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Vail Lake is one of my favorite places in the Temecula area to relax and unwind. The grounds are clean, well-maintained, and the overall environment is peaceful and welcoming. It always feels safe, making it a great place for families, couples, or anyone looking to enjoy some time outdoors. The property has a charming general store that is convenient and adds to the campground atmosphere. There is also a really cool ice cream shop that serves delicious treats along with a variety of food items, making it easy to grab a snack or meal without leaving the property. The bar is another great feature, offering a fun place to relax and enjoy a drink after a day of exploring. Whether you are camping, fishing, or simply looking for a quiet getaway, Vail Lake offers a clean, relaxing, and enjoyable experience. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice escape in the Temecula area.

Enjoy coming here with my family. For the pass 8 years we been coming. Looking forward in remodeling Oaks area. A little issue with 2 of the workers that is not a customer service friendly when checking in.
