This is truly my favorite place to stay every year and am excited to try the new cabins. Love how there's a drink cart now that comes around as well. I love all the awesome gifts in the store but I'd definitely expand a little more with more groceries, maybe an arcade for kids, pool table and dart boards in the bar area, just suggestions.�

Love this place! Just need better internet. Had to call to get the access. Also internet does not work on smart TV. Thankfully Verizon works on the cell once the crowds thin out. Otherwise we love Vail Lake. Thanks

Nice place, but the floors where sticky and dirty. All of out feet were black from walking. We weren’t given a password for the wifi and not able to watch TV or connect the stereo. When i called the office, they would not give me the password. The sent an employee to connect to connect the TV. It later went down again. Two days with no wifi. Not good when you paying 265 per night and it’s rai

The first night in site 168 and it was not pleasant. There were kids riding bikes through our site and next to it down the path. Kids were driving golf carts all over the place. The adults were up playing music and talking loudly way past 10pm. Dogs off leash because I guess rules don’t apply to everyone. Also political flags were a turn off. The next night we moved to Chardonnay Mesa-much quiet

It was fantastic. From check-in to check-out. Everything and everyone was so polite and helpful. It was a pleasure staying there. Looking forward to the next visit!

We frequent here often. Absolutely love it. All the changes have been positive. We stay in Chardonnay Mesa most Often. Normal spot 70. This time we were in 62. Great EXCEPT the green transformer box! I have never heard this Box so loud! It changed the ambiance of quiet nature. Also obnoxious at night. Not sure if that can be fixed or made more quiet. Haven’t heard it this loud before.

Had 3 sites 119 - 121 11/16-11/17. The newly renovated sites were awesome! Gravel pads, paver patios with beautiful brick fire pits, rear fencing

Enjoyed a very quite sunday and monday in arroyo secco. Such fun stuff in the store. Helpfull friendly staff. If i find any cheap oing pong paddles illdonate them.�

I’m impressed by how clean this campground is. I was with a private group and couldn’t expect better from the campground. Cannot wait to return next year!

Love the new patios in the Oaks - great set-up. Would suggest an improvement to the food at the cafe.

It was fun at the campground. So much to do for the whole family!! We loved our 2 nights stay, definitely want to go back and do an extended stay to enjoy much more!

The staff was amazing, so friendly and accommodating. The store was great and the food and bar was a bonus we did not expect. Low 6 rating due to the lack of internet and power. Bathroom was ... sub par to say the least but that being said we heard you are doing a big renovation so we are looking forward to coming back when it is completed.

Great time, Our group had 12 campsites and we have been coming for over 10 years on the same dates. We are hoping the campground does not get ruined by all the changes. The new sites on the right going up to Chardonnay are cookie cutter rock slabs with so little room between them. We sure hope this isn't he fate of the rest of the campground. Upgrades are nice, but keeping charm is also.

The campground is so charming and relaxing. We come every year and love the live music, the store and bar atmosphere. I'm so disappointed that you're planning to add even more glamping cabins in other areas. You're ruining the charm of the campground. Please think about keeping the glamping cabins in only one area and leaving the rest of the campgrounds as natural as possible for the RVers.

We have been camping there as a group for over 8 years. We have even camped there when it was a county RV campground. The reason for the 3 instead of a 5 is that the bathroom in the Chardonay area has never been improved. It is like stepping back into time when the campground was first opened. It is past time to renovate the period correct bathroom.

Had good time. We stayed in site 70. There was a constant smell sewage in the area. Many people smelled it. It didn’t come from people emptying their tanks because we didn’t have our tanks connected until we dumped before leaving. It should be looked into. May be the tanks just outside of the restrooms venting???

We had a wonderful stay with family and friends in the great outdoors. We noticed that there is a lot of improvements going on which is great but we do hope that the outdoor charm is not taken away and the campground becomes too commercialized.

Location was poor. We tried to book better sites for next year and arrived at the bookstore 15 minutes before we were told they would be opening and ALL sites throughout the campground other than the middle section were already booked.

Very noisy. Kids running and riding their bikes through our campsite. Groups stayin up late talking and playing music past the quiet hour.

This koa and dripping springs are our go to camp areas in southern cal.The staff is great,and the showers are hot.
