Wonder set up. We all had a great time. Bathrooms were maintained well, even though we didn't need them. Trash pick up was timely. Park bar, cafe and shop were all a great delight! We look forward to our next trip since we're just down in San Diego!

We thought our site, 337 (Arroyo Secco) had sewer however it did not. We cut our stay short because of this. Disappointed but we otherwise enjoyed our stay.

We've stayed here before and we keep on coming back. We really enjoy are stay. All of the staff is friendly and helpful. The campground is always very well maintained.

Beautiful rv park, looks like improvements are coming and I hope they don’t change the park’s character. Employee at the entrance gate for check in seemed a little unsure about check in procedure, everything else was great!

We love the location and all the activities. The Customer Service in the gift shop was horrible! They were beyond rude on multiple occasions.

My daughter loves the train ride, thrifty ice cream, she was so excited to meet buddy the Elf & talk to Mr. & Mrs Claus (highlights for sure). Definitely some features that can't be beat at any other campsites. The adults my husband & I definitely love the bar but were very impressed w)the sites getting the pavers. Looks so beautiful. We can't wait for new years.

My interactions with the staff were great. All very friendly and helpful. My reason for 4 stars was the noise factor. It was very noisy. Quiet hours were not enforced. Kids UNDER driving age constantly racing around on the golf carts NOT with supervision. Blaring music. When driving around I saw there were quieter spots.

I love that it's family friendly and there are a good amount of activities for kids to do. My only complaint is there were a lot of people driving way too fast in golf carts and on electric bikes. I was afraid my toddler was going to get hit

Always enjoy our stay at Vail. Stayed in The Oaks area this time and wifi is really spotty so makes it difficult if needing to work but went to other areas and it worked.

Unfortunately our neighbors across the way ruined the last two nights of our trip with their loud and obnoxious karaoke. I did finally talk to the office about them on the second night but by that point everyone in our group had gone inside to try to escape the noise. I was also incredibly disappointed that the 10:00 form turn in time was incorrect and reservations were accepted at 8:00 instead!

Nice campground and great staff. There was a bit of a party atmosphere, which I don't care for. The one recommendation I have is to improve your signage. If you never been to the campground it's unbelievably confusing. We arrived after dark and were camped in 371. There should be signs stating 300-371 ->, etc throughout the park. Multiple people in our group commented on this. Great j

Unfortunately, this is the third time that a family member gets targeted by one of the KOA employees regarding driving our personal golf cart. They are pulled over and informed that all drivers must be 16 and over with a valid license and/or permit; both times the drivers have been 16. when we have observed 10 and 12 years old driving and no one questions them. Racism.

Love the upgrades. Didn't like that you didn't have the bar or restaurant open. Also, tried to rent a golf cart and you emailed me during my stay, when I called the front desk, it was different prices and rental times, so that was annoying. I called about a rental, no one told me that I had to make a reservation, or that it had to be a 2 day rental on a Monday. Ended up not renting a cart.

We had a good stay. The park is clean and well appointed. The RV Sites are a good size and well separated. My only complaint is that we were in Chardonay Site #56 and Face to Face with our Neighbours, who were good people and a nice family. Also the fire rings were not well positioned, they were grouped together closer to sites 60 & 61, far away and to the rear of our Site #56. Bummer That!

From the moment we arrived, it was chaotic. The employees at the first booth didn't know where to send us and the ones at the main store were confused why they sent us to them. Once we got to our assigned site, it was occupied even though it was about 3 hours after check out. The employees basically told us to figure it out and we were responsible for making the people leave. Do better KOA.

Beautiful scenery. Love that they decorate and have activities for holidays. Our cabin was nice. A few things not working which was unfortunate for sure. Wish they would update the golf course and add more opportunities for things to do but overall it is a nice stay.

Overall very nice stay for a big family get together. I do wish the pool was heated and there were more kid’s activities. My biggest complaints however are with the cabin. Overall the cabin was great but the upstairs loft had not been cleaned well prior to our arrival as there were food wrappers and food crumbs under the bed. The ADA compliant shower was awful to use.

Vail Lake is fun! If you are wanting the Food/restaurant, activities for kids, or the bar, make sure you only stay Friday through Sunday. All of these options are not available Sunday after 2pm through Thursdays.

I love this campground! We always have such a good time when we come and visit. We weren't told there was construction happening directly across our site, so that was disappointing this time around, but we are hoping that won't be the case each time we return. Great place for families with little kids. We always enjoy the arts and crafts activities, too.

We always enjoy our stay at Vail Lake. One suggestion would be to place speed bumps before and after the stop sign where you turn right or left into the Oaks. There were several people driving way too fast through that area and running right through the stop sign. With kids and other pedestrians, it appeared very dangerous. Thanks!

Like the camping Reservation are impossible sometimes!!! I’ve been going there for at least 20 years and every year I tell you guys “ YOU NEED TO DO SOMETHING WITH THE RESTROOMS !! TO PAY THAT AMOUNT!! HORRIBLE!!!!!!

We had another awesome stay here. The Christmas lights and decorations make a perfect atmosphere for hot chocolate and coffee sipping in the quad.

Overall had a great time. The dirt bike jumps where a hit the entire stay. Should adjust activities/bar for week of Thanksgiving when kids are out of school. Fix/update mini golf

So disappointed that the cafe and bar were closed during our stay. We had planned all of our meals around that. And we spent SO much money money getting food delivered to us instead. Also, the constructing in the oaks is terrible. I was nervous the entire time that my son would get hit by one of the vehicles working in the loop. Not as good as our last experience at all. Bummer!

Some great new sites in the Oaks Section. Roads are nicely paved. The kids had a great time with plenty of opportunity to explore the area. Only reason why it did not get a 5 is the restroom/laundry facility in the Oaks needs a little TLC.

This koa and dripping springs are our go to camp areas in southern cal.The staff is great,and the showers are hot.
