Stay was Ok. Staff was not as welcoming and friendly as other KOA's we have stayed at. Must be short staffed, when checking in the front gate wasn't staffed and had to go to the general store. No escort to the site. Pool was very cloudy and dirty. Just little things, nothing major. Very nice camp ground. Had higher expectations from viewing the website. Kids events got canceled.

I would say it is “okay” not great, especially considering the price, other parks are much nicer for much less. Lack of staff or need to adjust allocation of staff for guest convenience. Staff is friendly and helpful, just not always where it is convenient, ie check-in. Sites are not as well maintained as other parks. The was a lot trash left by previous occupants. Everything was fantastic, the sites were clean and well mowed. The staff was friendly and helpful. The best part was our kids had an absolute blast the whole stay. I would highly recommend this location!

Wonderful place! We enjoyed it so much. Our boys had so much to occupy them. Our site was spacious and pleasant. So much potential here, it just seems to need a little bit of updating. Overall, we would definitely revisit.

Paid for a Paw Pen upgrade which was very disappointing. Grass was so unruly on the entire site and in the pen as well as many previous dogs feces found left in the pen therefore I could not use for my dogs. Tried to complain about it but never heard back from management. Beautiful campground otherwise. When you pay extra you expect extra and this site was well below expectation.

We enjoyed out stay as we did the previous times at the campground. We spent time in the lake and pool and also hiked the trails this time since it wasn't muddy. The grounds were not as well kept as they have been during previous stays (mowing, weed-eating and the golf cart was filthy). I think it was a poor decision to mow around the red barn play area on a busy Saturday afternoon.

Everything was great. We loved all the activities. Showers were very clean. Everyone was very nice and helpful. We will be back.....we stayed in a sight with a puppy area the wire was not small enough for my small dog she escaped a few times.

The facilities were very nice and kept clean and neat. Lots of things for the entire family to do. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time. I would suggest to fix the barn play set. Extremely slippery to get up to the large slide. Someone will get hurt. Our other suggestion is to do some improvement to the landscaping. The grounds has a ton of tall weeds.

4 nights. Good spot. Pool was great. One thing to mention....the upkeep. We've been here before, and this time around were a bit disappointed at the weediness of...just about everything. All the beds were overgrown. Fences and areas untrimmed. It just seemed sloppy to what we were used to. The team started working on it the day before we left, but to be honest it'd gone on too long.

Very nice campground.We were there during the week and I love how it wasn't over run with people.Our cabin was cute, much better than Jellystone 1 room cabins.A couple of things were broken (patio umbrella, bathroom fan & TV barely got one channel).The main thing that I want to share is about the mini fridge.Too small for a multiple day stay. Will not stay in a cabin again with mini fridge.

There was a lot of junk left over at my site from a previous person (I've stayed at probably 15 KOAs and have never seen this before). Hours for the general store were not posted (I'm not upset that it was closed or anything, but hours should still be posted).

No H20 due to a line break in the park for over 8 hrs with no communication from manager. Overheard a debate if a $125 part should be purchased to immediately fix the problem. Per reviews, H20 problems have been an issue for months. Pool not heated/filtered-continuous problem. Grounds care needed desperately. No compensation, H20 option, or apology offered. Cleaning & store staff were postives.

Not big rig friendly. Difficult driving turns. Tight. Office staff very friendly. Duck excrement everywhere! However, there are some nice facilities there and the people were so nice it sort of makes up for it.

Park cleanliness and attention to detail has declined greatly under new ownership. We have stayed here for years and the general grounds are less tidy and need, preventative maintenance is lacking. Weeding of site flower beds, trimming of tree branches (hard to get RV into spot without hitting overhanging branches), edging and trimming grasses, around tables and such, weeds growing up in fence.

We have stayed here last year and loved it, however, this year was very disappointing! Grass growing as tall as possible, dog parks not cleaned out and waste can not emptied. They have dirt piles everywhere, so that makes the mud horrible. This place is going downhill fast! Very disappointing.

Facility seems to have several mechanical issues. Water main broke on Saturday with out any communication to guests. Did not know what happened or when it would be fixed with out contacting the office. The pool was broke on Sunday. The kids did not get a final swim before needing to check out. The sewage pipe on campsite was not covered and would catch hints of sewage smells.Trash wasn’t PU time

The campground was nice. The only issue was there was no water one of the days we were there. No splash pad for the kids, no shower water at the pool, and the toilets by the pool had no water to flush.

Deducted one star because of overall appearance of grounds. Everything needed a good weeds trimming. Our fire pit had not been cleaned out. For the premium prices charged the place looked shabby.

I wish there was more kids activities. It rained while we were there and it would have been nice to have done kids activities in the pavilions. The kids gravity zip line was broke. She looks so forward to it. The chess board had no pieces. Just little things that add up to a lower rating.

The park is wonderful. There are some upgrades that need to take place for infrastructure. Some of the roads are overgrown and narrow for big rigs.

This campground has changed a lot in the last year and not for the better. The landscaping around the campground looked like it was done by an angry teenager. The campground had no water the day I checked out, so I was unable to flush out my tanks. I think next year we will look for a different place to stay when attending the Ohio State fair.

Beautiful campground with so many amenities including a swimming pool and swimming lake that had many accessories for use by swimmers. Staff very courteous and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

The absolute best KOA we've been to. We loved our spot back in The Backwoods. However, the campground could use some improvements. Pros: - Huge campus with variety of spaces around lake and in wooded areas. - Zipline, jump pad, disk golf, and other toys for the children. - Petting zoo, lake, and nature trail. - Office staff friendly.  Let us receive our packages - a huge plus for us! Cons: - Speed limit not enforced.  This is true for the long-term residents, weekend campers, and maintenance/work campers. Some work campers in their personal vehicles are going way too fast including a gold minivan that is at least going over by 4x - 5x the 5 MPH limit and kicking up dust and neglecting safety of the kids playing nearby. - Maintenance lacking - many unmowed spots and areas (like some of the disk golf course), random trash throughout the campus.  We finally had to clean up the garbage in our site and in the woods behind us.  Just walk around the campus on foot with a few garbage bags and you'll be surprised how much you can pick up. - Major rotting tree in our site that needs to be removed immediately before it becomes a disaster (yes, we informed a maintenance worker). - Nature trail needs major maintenance including whole trees and tree limbs across trail making parts impassable, not to mention the muddy/boggy areas. - Black widow spider in our electrical box - The Backwoods area got quite loud last night we were there with many campers including some unruly ones.  Also, there was an RV where they were clearly smoking the good lettuce, if you know what I mean. 😉 - Overgrown tree branches need to be trimmed back as they were scraping our RV on the way out in a few areas. All-in-all we had a great time and plan on returning.  I hope these suggestions help as this could be an absolutely stellar experience with just a few, easy improvements.

Feels kinda weird using a Hotel list for a campground but rooms=site I would say it was excellent. They have obviously done a lot to keep the sites up. Wood composite Adirondack furniture was at many of the sites and all that we saw had concrete patios. Service was great. Greeted with a smile and friendly faces. Location - hard to beat a location like this in the middle of God's country. It was quiet and easy to get to any of the nearby attractions.
