[b]EXIT 131: [/b]Use exit 131, Head East on State Route 37. Make a LEFT at the first traffic light onto Wilson Rd. You will stay on Wilson Rd. all the way until you see our KOA sign to turn right onto Porter Central Rd. You will pass over the round-about over State Route 61.
We are situated BETWEEN I-71 exits 131 & 140, approximately 8.5 miles off the interstate.
SPECIAL TRAVEL NOTES: GPS will instruct you to take Chambers Road if you're coming from the North, headed South, which has a COVERED BRIDGE with a height limit of 8' 10". To avoid this bridge, go past Chambers and turn left onto 521, left onto 656, and then right onto Porter Central Rd.

Our swimming pool is a seasonal hit among kids and adults alike. It is open from early June until Labor Day weekend each year, and the daily hours are from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Our furry KOA friends are located in their barn behind the swimming pond in the cornfield. You can visit them at any time of the day and pet them from outside the fence.
Sunbury / Columbus North KOA Holiday offers two playgrounds for kids and kids-at-heart to enjoy. The Red Barn Playground is located behind the General Store, and the Barn Yard Playground is by the Boondocks section.
Our swimming pond allows guests to partake in an authentic country living experience. Take a dip or enjoy relaxing on still waters with an inflatable lounge float to enjoy your time in the sun.
Our gravity rail swing can be found at the Red Barn Playground behind the General Store. Its gravity-led design makes it a fun ride for all ages.
Come on over to the General Store and buy your bag of mining rough ranging from $6 all the way up to a family-size $50 bags or buckets. Purchase your bag inside the General Store and then head on out to our Town outside the General Store to start panning in our gem mine station. After panning, you can take your variety of gems home with you!
We have a great selection of boats available to rent for just $5.00/half hour. Choose from kayaks, canoes, pedal boats and new Corcl round boats to explore with the family.
Our campground fishing pond is stocked with bluegill, crappie, catfish and bass. We do not require a fishing license, but we follow a catch-and-release policy. You can purchase bait in our General Store.
Pets are a part of the family, and we love to treat them as such. Our KampK9 dog park offers a spacious running area with complimentary waste bags and divided sections for small and large dogs.
Gaga ball is often a playground favorite among young people. We offer a gaga ball court located by the Red Barn Playground behind the General Store.
Our campground boasts some of the best hiking trails in Ohio. The trails are marked with 5-foot tall squirrel signs and run throughout our 40 acres of mature woods. Enjoy a quiet walk or ride your bike and possibly see wildlife along the way. We also recommend checking out the 300-year-old oak tree in our woods.
If you are a disc golf enthusiast, we have you covered. Sunbury / Columbus North KOA Holiday has a disc golf course that starts near our open parking and across from camping site 102. If you forgot your discs or want to learn, we have them available to rent in the General Store.
We now have two bounce pads located side by side with one dedicated to our smaller campers and another bounce pad for the bigger kids.
Our two-hoop basketball court is located behind the General Store. Spend an afternoon playing HORSE or gather a team together for a campground tournament!
Our workout room includes heavy-duty commercial equipment and a flat-screen TV. We ask that this space be for adults only, but ages 14-17 may work out with an adult present. You can sign out a workout key in the General Store.
The cement cornhole boards are located up by the Barn Yard Playground. Bean bags are provided!
We have a large outdoor cement ping pong table and giant checkers located at the Red Barn Playground. You can find a giant Connect Four game in Town.
Every Saturday, we have planned events throughout the day that vary from live entertainment, adult crafts, bingo and much more. Each Saturday event calendar is made the Thursday before, so make sure to ask the front office for a copy.
