Amazing landscape, it’s a resort not a campground! My only complaint is fire pits need breathing holes at base. No air means too much smoke

this was the second time we have stayed at Sugarloaf KOA , this place is great it has a lot of amenities , campers are friendly and so is the staff.

Love this campground and have given it 5 stars in the past but since the hotel suites opened, the pool is overcrowded and every seat is filled. The suites were maybe at 25% capacity so it will be far worse in future years. I hope they can find space for another pool. Staff are amazing and they keep the whole place in perfect condition.

This place was beautiful. The only disappointing thing was the beach, not much there. Otherwise it was great!

Excellent and incredible campground! I really also enjoyed the music by local musicians. Unfortunately the cost is going to prohibit me from returning next year. I even noticed the Condo's weren't full either which is a clue to the pricing....

Without a doubt, the absolute best KOA there is. Clean and well maintained facilities, friendly and professional staff. Already booked Sugarloaf KOA for 2025.

Very nice site, back in with all hookups. Angled so easy in for 5th wheel. Nice beach, pool with full service bar. Marina with kayak, bike etc and boat launch. Motel if guests want to come and stay with you. Friendly easy going staff. At site garbage pickup. Very nice park!

What a beautiful place. The staff and marina were outstanding. 27 minutes to Key West. Just be careful of the noseeums.

Our vacation was cut short by an emergency medical condition the second day. The staff was very helpful to me while my husband was in the hospital even finding a place if our stay had to be ey. I especially want to mention Chad and April. They went above and beyond!! Helping me with transportation to and from Key West. Chad deserves 10 stars!!!!

Excellent facilities, welcoming and friendly staff, lots of amenities. This KOA is amazing. Facilities, amenities and location do make it a more expensive campsite, so would recommend with reservations to someone camping on a budget.

It was truly a resort campground . The pool and beach are great and if you like boating and biking they have rentals. The restroom and shower facilities were as good as most hotels and were always spotless. There is a lot to do and yet it was super quiet in the evening. I plan to go back there very soon.

After 40 years of camping I would say this was the most beautiful campground I have ever stayed at. 100% recommend anyone to enjoy a stay with the KOA in the Keys.

It's a beautiful campground very friendly staff, Down sides , sites very small barely could get slides out allot of Raccoons. Way overpriced $32 for 2 shots of tequila lowest priced drinks started at $12.a hat that said 50% off was $36 I found in Key West $20, very limited live entertainment. Other resorts we stayed at in the keys had $6 happy hour specials with live entertainment.better food

Very well organized and very clean. As soon as a site opened up the staff was there to clean and make sure it was ready for the next occupants. Enjoyed the text messages of what was going on. We will be making this a regular spot

Beautiful campgrounds with almost everything new. Best WiFi for a camp I've experienced. Boat ramp, Marina, small beach, great pool and snack bar, new water/electric/sewer, nice roads and landscaping. I couldn't ask for more, great people too.

Park is beautifully landscaped. Who ever designed the sites must not have been an RVer. Because of the angle of the sites, and the way towed vehicles have to park it is very difficult to back into. I have a lot of experience driving and backing up my 40 ft class A and I had a lot of difficulty.

Definitely a beautiful and tropical KOA! We stayed 1 night in a 45 5W. We got premium patio pull thru. Unfortunately it was tight to get in and out of the site. Had to move a truck and waited for jeep to move. Loved the pub, Cafe, pool and laundry! Understand land is a commodity in the keys! Puppies didn't like the rocks..Did their job in the landscaping ( I cleaned up). Wonderful staff!!

very clean, friendly staff. a few suggestions : someone needs to monitor pool area during day, at times only a dozen or so in the pool area however ALL the lounge chairs were taken with towels on them !!! Bar should have Margaritas as specials . Could expanded fishing area.

Thank you for the complements on our campground and suggestions. We do run specials for Margaritas! Every Thursday is Tacos, Tequila and Trivia when with special pricing. Would love to offer more on-site fishing but the swim area and boat slips areas are excluded from fishing for safety.

I was very annoyed that the manager allows people from the SunOutdoors campground to come in a use the laundry facilities! I paid a LOT of $$ to stay at this resort and 2x when I tried to do laundry it took me over 5 hrs to get 2 loads of wash done! They come in, take up all of the machines and then go sit at the campgrnd bar drinking and not attending their machines! It's ridiculous!

Perfect consistency of beautifully maintained grounds, immaculately clean facilities throughout the resort, outstanding customer service by friendly and helpful staff. We are pleased several times repeat campers, who will continue to come back.

Outstanding example of how campgrounds should be run, well maintained w/ easy access to sites, (I have a 30’ trailer). Although expensive by non-South Florida Keys standards, it is comparable to other local high quality resort campgrounds. The only negative I have is the volume of the live music performances. If you value more quiet evenings, I would pick sites away from the pool. Workers are A

My husband and I just got back from our stay at Sugarloaf. It was everything we have been told and more. From check in to check out, the staff was always there to help with a smile. The grounds are amazing. There is not a bad spot, every site is clean and well maintained. The pool is beautiful, live music and bar area is very nice and the store has everything you would need if something was forgotten. We met so many wonderful fellow campers and we've booked for next year.

Everyday in the Keys are PARADISE!!! This island resort has 2 beautiful new hotels with large suites to accommodate your family. Fully stocked Marina for all your fishing needs,also has boats, paddle boards, kayaks, bikes, pedal carts for rent. Sandy Beach with loungers and inflatable water floats to play on. The pool is so well landscaped you wouldn't believe your in the middle of a RV resort!!!! There's a enormously large hot tub, lounge areas around gas fire pits, hammocks hidden in the beautiful lounge area to just relax in the shade and forget about everything. The Pub,Store & Cafe are great amenities and all centrally located by the pool. This is Glamping in the Island Keys!!!!

I almost don't want to review this KOA because everyone will want to go. This is an AMAZING campground. The staff work tirelessly to keep the park clean and they are all super friendly and helpful. The amenities are outstanding from the activities, rental items( boats, kayaks, bikes) to the full liquor BAR and live music. The camp store has everything if you forgot to pack something and offer quick bites to eat. The location is perfect for a quick day trip to Key West. Can't wait to go back!
