Site 614 was a little tight side to side. Pool/pub was outstanding! Every park employee always seemed to be willing to go out of their way to help. Next time we’ll forget Key West and just enjoy the KOA!

My sister recommended that I choose a campsite next to a palm tree, facing the river at the back, and I could see the bridge and boats. I have booked reservations a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, it was not what I expected at all, and it was the highest-priced campsite I booked during our trip.

This KOA was the best we’ve ever stayed at . The staff were friendly, helpful respectful and courteous. Thankyou to Lisa for a copy of the S’mores menu. The S’mores on Sunday evening were delicious! This was our first real camping trip and it was great. The campground was super clean, our site was perfect. The staff were all super friendly. We would absolutely stay here again.

Amenities are all encompassing. You really have no reason to leave! Yet, close enough to Key West to still enjoy the Conch Republic! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I love how the garbage pick up works! And, delivery services are quite helpful! Ashley, the bartendress, is awesome! The tropical surroundings lends itself to cozy little campsites! We had bananas growing in “our” trees!

The park is nice and new, lots of landscaping between sites, but the landscaping and sprinklers have attracted a lot of mosquitoes and no-see-ums. They were relentless! We had citronella candles, bug spray foggers, and three different bug sprays. Nothing worked, we couldn't even go outside. Pool was nice, staff friendly. Food at the pub/cafe was not worth the price.

It’s one of the best KOA’s in the US. A very enjoyable place….great pool/hot tub area. Wonderful pool bar. We already booked for next year.

The biting gnats keep you from sitting outside the RV, and we even got bites at the bar. Deep Woods off does not work! If camping near the pool and bar, music is going on from morning til 10 pm. Otherwise, it is a beautiful place to stay.

The bar staff was awesome and really made our trip. The campground was beautifully landscaped. It has a very nice pool and hot tub. The activities were great. The no-see-ums were rough.

We have been coming to the Keys for Thanksgiving for over 25 years now. We stayed at Sugarloaf KOA many years ago before the hurricane took it out. We decided to give it a try this year and we were not disappointed. Our site was wonderful, plenty of privacy and the staff everywhere was very pleasant and professional. We had no issues and will return again. GREAT JOB!

The people, the accommodations were great! Probably the nicest KOA we have visited. The only negative, and it was significant even for SWFL natives, were the No Seeums. Horrible. All else was great. Thank you!

We RV alot, this has to be the best one we ever stayed at. Clean, organized, has everything, pool and bar area top of the line like a top notch resort. We have camped here 3 times in the last three years and can't wait to return.

My family and I come here at least twice a year. Everytime is amazing. Great amenities for the space they have. Somehow they make the RV spots private with all the perfectly planned landscaping. The marina, bait shop, boat ramp, pool, bar, and daily activities are great. My only complaint- Allow guest to charge a credit card on file as opposed to having to bring cash or credit card to the pool.

We love this KOA. The employees here are all very helpful and friendly. The amenities are great and the location can't be beat. The landscaping and is beautiful and the facilities are always clean. I would recommend to anyone.

The staff at the Sugerloaf Key KOA are all great people, especially the social director. She is a wonderful lady. If this KOA was more affordable for me, I would have stayed the whole winter there. However, as with all of us, cost is always a factor. The only problem I had there was with an infestation of ants. No matter what I did or used, I always had a number of those critters in my trailer.

Stayed for 6 nights over Thanksgiving. enjoyed our stay. The only problem we had was the bugs. Our legs are terribly bitten up and itchy. Unfortunately we were unable to sit outside in the evening to enjoy the evenings. But bugs were out all day long. I’m not sure what you can do about them.

We had the best time. Every site is great. The staff is friendly and helpful. Every night there was a fun event, bingo, live bands, trivia and more. We loved the Thanksgiving meal and felt cared for. The pool and bar are clean and enjoyable. We already booked for next year and can’t wait. Beautiful campground!

I was very much pleased with the whole experience. I have stayed at many KOA in the past and have to say that this one has to be one of the nicest KOA campgrounds I have stayed at. Very clean!! There was a lot of activity at the pool bar and entertainment as well. Will definitely be coming back. Thank you for a great time..

The office & ground staff are very professional. The grounds are nice but the landscaping is WAY overgrown, creating a smaller space for the RV & attracting more mosquitoes /noseeums making the stay uncomfortable. Not enough lighting throughout the grounds.

The location is pretty but tiny, pool was crowed all day, hot tub imposible to go. Quiet time was not respected. There was a big family crowd that was loud, kids in the middle of the road without supervison. The staff in charge of trash pickup was not friendly.

As always, KOA Sugarloaf Key is a wonderful stay. It is a well maintained facility and close to everything that is Southern Keys. Staff is attentive and helpful. If you can accept the high price tag, this is the place to stay in the lower Keys.

Good morning, our stay was amazing and your facility is the nicest KOA we have visited from New England to California and we have been to many. Unfortunately the day we left was not so great when we experienced a flat tire on our trailer. We have a photo from the day we arrived and the tire was fully inflated but after driving by your construction area we picked up a skew (see text message)

Our second time staying. It's 5 star clean! Wow what an amazing job the crew does to ensure the grounds, pool area, and bathrooms are top notch clean. Would love to see a restaurant on site. I would not recommend the pub food. Great drink selection from the bar! The dock was very difficult to use as the mangroves are way too close to the docks. Another great holiday in the keys! Thankyo

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! From the employees, to the site, landscaping and of course, Thanksgiving dinner, was fantastic. The resort could not have been better kept and clean. Having a restaurant/bar onsite was incredible. My only negative which is not the KOA fault, is staying on the gulf side has better kayaking, fishing and beautiful tropical fish. Did I mention incredible employees!

My husband and I just got back from our stay at Sugarloaf. It was everything we have been told and more. From check in to check out, the staff was always there to help with a smile. The grounds are amazing. There is not a bad spot, every site is clean and well maintained. The pool is beautiful, live music and bar area is very nice and the store has everything you would need if something was forgotten. We met so many wonderful fellow campers and we've booked for next year.

Everyday in the Keys are PARADISE!!! This island resort has 2 beautiful new hotels with large suites to accommodate your family. Fully stocked Marina for all your fishing needs,also has boats, paddle boards, kayaks, bikes, pedal carts for rent. Sandy Beach with loungers and inflatable water floats to play on. The pool is so well landscaped you wouldn't believe your in the middle of a RV resort!!!! There's a enormously large hot tub, lounge areas around gas fire pits, hammocks hidden in the beautiful lounge area to just relax in the shade and forget about everything. The Pub,Store & Cafe are great amenities and all centrally located by the pool. This is Glamping in the Island Keys!!!!

I almost don't want to review this KOA because everyone will want to go. This is an AMAZING campground. The staff work tirelessly to keep the park clean and they are all super friendly and helpful. The amenities are outstanding from the activities, rental items( boats, kayaks, bikes) to the full liquor BAR and live music. The camp store has everything if you forgot to pack something and offer quick bites to eat. The location is perfect for a quick day trip to Key West. Can't wait to go back!
