The campground location is prime. Landscaping is beautiful and provides privacy to each RV spot. The public areas pool, beach, pub, marina have superior amenities. All hook ups and bathrooms are equipped with modern facilities. The entire grounds are maintained flawlessly.

Beautiful well kept resort, great service. But the biting insects (even in the middle of day) made it so we don’t want to comeback. Was at two other resorts in the southern keys where the bugs we much better.

Beautiful campsite. Nicely laid out. A little tight getting into the site 508 due to the heavy foliage surrounding it. The KOA needs to trim back the foliage a lot. Had trouble finding the sewer hookups because they were so overgrown. Pool was extremely clean and so was the hot tub. The employees there were extremely friendly and helpful. Had a pull through site. Had 3 of there employees guide me.

We had to extend our stay due to my husband's illness. Nikki in the front office bent over backwards to get us 4 extra days. Eric and Danielle in the Cafe kept me fed with delicious food and Kim and Ashley from the bar kept me well "hydrated " while my husband recovered...Ashley was even sweet enough to bring me some bananas so I wouldn't have to venture out. We can't wait to come back next year!

We love the quality of the service, the facilities and location! Debbie checked us in and out and she was excellent: very helpful, gave great recommendations on area "must sees," etc. We booked 3 nights, but unfortunately, we experienced a mechanical problem in our RV that required us to leave a day early. Debbie was very gracious and understanding and gave us a refund for the 3rd night.

I was a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. Staff were all professional and super friendly. The ground s and pool/hot tub were very well cared for. Will definitely stay here again.

Park was absolutely beautiful and the folks that work there were extremely helpful. I did pay for the upgrade for the waterfront sites which adds to the experience, highly recommended.

My stay was magical. I brought my jet skiis, adventure bikes and travel trailer/toy hauler. The grounds were immaculate. There was always an abundance of staff to help with anything that might have been a problem. I rode my bicycle on the grounds. The pool and hot tub were conveniently located next to the bar/restaurant. The store was very well equipped with things you may have forgotten.

Was an amazing 1st time visit! Beautiful sites, friendly staff, great amenities and good value for what you get! The only recommendation that we would make is to have the amazing jacuzzi be for adults only.

High cost to stay but we'll worth it. Close proximity to Key West is a big plus. Onsite facilities like store and deli makes it easy to grab a snack or dinner. Only issue with the park is that some sites have been overtaken with chiggers. Our group had 6 sites and 3 of our members had to purchase multiple treatment items for bites. Park should spray each site, you get bit during setup, to lat

Fantastic campground! This was our second time staying and we are already planning on our next trip back in 2025! One of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed at. Would recommend this campground to anyone who is wanting to visit key west!

Been coming here for the past couple years. It has been wonderful!! Now the bad news. It is wonderful....they have just about finished the Luxury villas the offer and it has affected the service and capacity levels. The pool is much more crowded and the service at the bar is a long wait. Also, we just reserved for next year DEC 2024 and the rates have gone up. We will be cutting back our visits.

The KOA is extremely beautiful! Great care was taken in all the landscaping. My only concern was being a 45 ft class A motorhome some difficulties were present due to the size of the sites. I still had an excellent experience. I will definitely come back.

Well, We expect to have the same quality / service we add last 2 years (it was our third time at your KOA).... We went to your resort because you have a things to do with our childrens. Your heated pool was not heated for a week long), your inflate module on the water was deflated.... When we paid this amount we expect to have a resort well maintained....

Beautiful campground, lot's of features & well maintained since it was rebuilt. This was the 2ndond time in a year we've been there. HOWEVER, TV reception was very poor (not everyone has satellite TV) and something really needs to be done about the street lighting. My wife felt unsafe walking the dogs at night. More solar powered lights at the intersections would work.

Very nice campground and well laid out. Close to Key West and other amenities. The only thing I have negative is that I think the pricing is a bit too steep.

I probably would have gone full stars if the price per night was a little reasonable. The campground and facilities are impeccably well maintained and groomed. The cafe, Tiki bar and pool area are meticulous and the staff is super friendly.

Love this KOA BUT they really, really need to cut back the vegetation on the interior sites. Either you can’t get into your camper or the slides get pushed into the shrubbery making it virtually impossible to get access to the storage underneath. We couldn’t even get to our picnic table without ducking under a slide. Also the speed bumps seem wholly unnecessary. No fun to drive over!

This place is beautiful! And all sites are kept neat and clean! Sites are landscaped for some privacy! The best KOA I have been to!

First, I’ll say that this KOA is one of the better ones we’ve stayed at in the country. It was clean, and the people were courteous. However, on the morning of our second day at the campsite, workers began dumping, raking, and shoveling rocks all around our tent site. At 6:45 in the morning. We were given no notice about this. Absolutely unacceptable, even if quiet hours were ending soon.

ALL the staff were so friendly and helpful - from check in, to the bartenders, to the nice gentlemen who helped us top up propane, and to most importantly the nice young man that warned us there was a lot of spray for weeds and we should wash our dogs paws after the walk! Such a caring group! There is so much to do and if you want to stay quiet you can too - it's all up to you! Best Place!

Tent camping is very very close making it very noisy and smelling everyone’s food being cooked not pleasant. Having the dog park in a high traffic area is also noisy and hectic.

I have never stayed at such a nice KOA. I didn’t know it was possible to stay at a campground that had the feel of a resort. I was highly impressed with the stay.

This is one of our favorite KOA's! It's a beautiful setting, the staff are wonderful and we really enjoy the pool, bar and live music.

My husband and I just got back from our stay at Sugarloaf. It was everything we have been told and more. From check in to check out, the staff was always there to help with a smile. The grounds are amazing. There is not a bad spot, every site is clean and well maintained. The pool is beautiful, live music and bar area is very nice and the store has everything you would need if something was forgotten. We met so many wonderful fellow campers and we've booked for next year.

Everyday in the Keys are PARADISE!!! This island resort has 2 beautiful new hotels with large suites to accommodate your family. Fully stocked Marina for all your fishing needs,also has boats, paddle boards, kayaks, bikes, pedal carts for rent. Sandy Beach with loungers and inflatable water floats to play on. The pool is so well landscaped you wouldn't believe your in the middle of a RV resort!!!! There's a enormously large hot tub, lounge areas around gas fire pits, hammocks hidden in the beautiful lounge area to just relax in the shade and forget about everything. The Pub,Store & Cafe are great amenities and all centrally located by the pool. This is Glamping in the Island Keys!!!!

I almost don't want to review this KOA because everyone will want to go. This is an AMAZING campground. The staff work tirelessly to keep the park clean and they are all super friendly and helpful. The amenities are outstanding from the activities, rental items( boats, kayaks, bikes) to the full liquor BAR and live music. The camp store has everything if you forgot to pack something and offer quick bites to eat. The location is perfect for a quick day trip to Key West. Can't wait to go back!
