One thing we noticed about our stay vs. the many other KOAs we have stayed at, was that your office and store hours are inadequate. Check-in begins at 3 p.m. but your office and store is closed by 4 p.m. so that campers are unable to check in, resolve issues with their site, and buy ice, wood, and other essentials after 4 p.m. Most KOAs we've stayed at had hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

We had a group of 8 cabins! some cabins had dirty linens on the beds, the floors were dirty, the ceiling fans could not be turned on because of the amount of thick dust on the blades and my card didn’t work to open the gate at night, it was raining getting me and my car soaked while trying to get the card to work but it never did. The year before was great but we are going elsewhere next year!

Cabin could have been cleaner. Toilet in accessible unit is way too low, should be higher for handicapped person. Sprayer in sink was busted, hard to wash dishes and clean without it. Otherwise stay was good!

We love our time at KOA Strafford but the office ours are disappointing (4pm close) and they definitely could do a better job cleaning/maintaining the rental units(2 broken camp chairs in our screen house on arrival). The water activities are great with good prices and the water slide is a lot of fun. Was disappointed that the pool closed early one day for a private party.

Safari tent was amazing! Pool area was nice. Pond area was sufficient. The staff were patient and helpful in spite of being short staffed. The game room was lacking and the weekly activities consisted of a movie each night. Other KOAs we have stayed at did much more in the activity area. My kids also missed the jumping pillow that are found at many KOAs. All in all a positive experience.

This was our fist stay here, we rented a Deluxe Cabin: overpriced! The bunk beds were not more than 5'7" wall to wall. Missing utensils and silverware; not enough plates, cups etc. We were rushed through our check-in by young staff who did not mention that Office/Store closed at 4:00pm, so ended up with no firewood or needed supplies. Would not stay here again.

We had a really pleasant stay, all the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We did rent an RV and noticed right when we arrived that the bathroom wasn't properly cleaned, the toilet was still dirty from the last campers and the bathroom smelled absolutely terrible. We also wish that you could take the golf carts on the walking trail as we felt there wasn't enough space to ride them.

We were really disappointed, as Strafford did not live up to the KOA standard we have come to expect. Bathrooms were not clean and trash in & near the bathrooms were not emptied until I called saying they were overflowing. The pool was dirty too - so much sand and hair. I have never been to a camp with so many flies and bees. The store opened late & closed so early. There's a lot more too...

We stayed at site 51, a trailer rental. When we first arrived there was no direction on how to get to our site. We had to ask where To go. The unit was a mess. There were blood stains on the bed. Clothes and dirt under the couch. The outside smelled like sewer. We spoke to someone in the office. It was very impersonal. We never saw an adult working in the office or yard for our entire visit.

Really beautiful , relaxing stay. Great bang for the buck. Grandkids enjoyed the Safari Tent and we were very fortunate to have one in the best area of the campground with a 1/2 bath! Bath houses were nice and clean and we commented on how busy the young staff was in keeping up the grounds. Only thing I can possibly think of is maybe putting a few extra trash liners in the Tents. Overall awsome v

It was our first time going there. It won't be our last. We stayed in a cabin that was less than a year old. With all the amenities of home. I especially loved the front porch and patio. It is very dog friendly and has a little dog park. There is an awesome playground. The pool is clean and my grandson and all the kids loved running back and forth from the splash pad. They also have boats to rent

Overall it was a nice stay. RV could be cleaner but not terrible. One staff member liked to say no to basically any request. Got to the point we would wait for her to leave and ask someone else and they would happily and easily help. Cart availability, check-in, help with air hockey. She truly seemed to just enjoy saying no…pretty odd.

We had a very enjoyable stay! The staff were all nice and accommodating. I understand that the KOA is under new management so I wanted to mention that the store should have consistent posted hours, and the cabins need a deeper clean before the season starts.( See cabin fans) I think you would have more involvement in activities if they were announced a bit more. We will be back we love it there !

Vet clean on our campsite. The pool and pond were really fun for the kids. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only negative was the bathroom. The first day we were there, both bathrooms close to our site were unusable. One had a clogged toilet full of #2 and the other smelled strongly of urine. The second day we stayed they were cleaned. You should really clean them several times a day.

The campground is not near or on Lake Winnipesaukee. The pond/lake is tiny. The pool is very small for the number of people trying to use it on a hot day. The RV we rented was nice. We could not eat outside because there was a bees nest near the site and they would attack us everytime we would eat. We left a day early and were charged full price. I would never reccomend this location to anyone.

There are not enough bathrooms to accommodate the amout of camp sites.The bathroom should be seperated from showers.Lot of trash in pool area.Trash barrels in glamping area not emptied.Young staff unknowledgeable.Rec room was dirty.

Nice campground in general. Site was huge and very nice. Deluxe cabin was also perfect. The pool was crowded and the water was a cloudy during the weekends, but better during the week. The slide was sadly down for maintenance (totally understand). Do wish the field was bigger so we could actually use it for sports stuff.

This particular stay was very unpleasant and if it wasn't for my children I would have shortened my vaca and went home! I rented out RV 83. Upon entering the RV you were hit with a horrible smell of feces along with 100's of flies, dirty towels from the previous campers were still in RV and no power to half the RV. Multiply staff notified and no real accommodations were made. SAD STAY FOR VACA!

We had a great time, fun activities and enjoyed the amenities. There were only a few concerns with the bathroom not being regularly serviced but that was rectified the next day. My kids had a blast!

Terrible. Will never return. Terrible service, dirty coffee pot, tried to make us pay a brand new "holding fee" after booking months in advance. The slide was broken the whole time we were there - you can imagine how the kids felt about that. Absolutely abhorrent treatment from the teen at the ropes course at Lebanon. So disrespectful. Will tell others not to go.

We absolutely loved our 7-day stay! There was so much to do for our kids. Although they were understaffed (like everywhere right now,) the employees worked tirelessly and handled their necessary tasks and issues. Constant sewer smell inside rental trailer and outside. A staff member did come and tried to remedy the situation but was unable to get rid of Oder. The trailer was not very clean and the key stuck and was difficult to use.

Terrible staff. Pool/splash pad were closed due to brown water coming from the pump. Check out day it was finally opened but soon after it was closed again for the same issue. Pond was dirty and turned our clothes/skin brown. Kids driving golf carts erratically but was told no time to deal with them by staff.Safari tent wasnt cleaned when we check in. No refund at all due to the pool closure!

Stay was great. Staff was very pleasant. Only complaint was the screen door was broken. I called twice to have it fixed and went to the store once. No one ever came to fix it so we couldn’t use the screened porch. Cabin 149.

After a rough experience with our neighbors the first two nights, T, the manager, made things right and treated us so great and fixed the bad experience we had the first two nights. Your staff is amazing and treated my family like family of their own. If it wasn't for the manager T and a staff member Lydia, we would have been very upset with our stay. Those two made our stay extra special

I stayed 3 nights (Thursday-Sunday) at this location with my husband & 2 toddlers. It was great. Perfect place for family camping. We enjoyed the pool, arcade and the paddle boats on the pond. Our RV, Bathrooms & pool were very clean. Staff was friendly & helpful. If you have kids the playground is great. Golf cart rentals are so much fun! Can’t wait to do it again next year.

Inquires were attended to promptly and corrected. They came up with creative ideas to keep guest cool during the very hot temperatures during our stay. The Water War was a great idea and fun. Bath house were very clean.

I've been to many KOA properties. Staff was great . We had no hot water late evening Friday til mid afternoon Saturday. 5 women in a cabin for girls weekend and we couldn't shower. They ended up having to do a switch repair. Saturday night in the cabin next to us was 12-15 loud people and the campground isn't even on lake Winnipesaukee!!!!!;

We stayed last year and had a very different experience this time- our cabin was not cleaned prior to our checking in. (Not camping dirty- there was a used bar of soap in shower, hair in sinks, sheets had stains, used bandaid in blanket on bed and other blankets were rolled in a ball in closet. We cleaned our room and had a great time with activities- will return but check room 1st.

Great campground with lots to do! Super clean RV and friendly helpful staff! We had LED lights that didn’t work so we let the manager know and she immediately got on it! A maintenance staff member was there 10mins later with Edison lights! They were wonderful! Pool was great too! Also felt so safe letting our 10 yr old ride his bike all around and our teen son had fun with the Cornhole sets!

Loved the pool and pond. The bathrooms should be given a second cleaning in the evening as they are very wet and dirty in the evening for night showers. Lovely setting and quiet. However, headlining Lake winnapeusaukee is very misleading as it is an hour away.

We spent several days here at the end of September. Lovely site, very quiet (especially during the week). Incredibly friendly and helpful staff (including Caleb, Jay, Marvin, and Haley). Quick walk from our site to very clean bathrooms, easily accessible showers. I think you may be closer to the Seacoast than Lake Winnie but that's less relevant. This is a great spot for just relaxing if you're trying to escape the rest of the world for a while. (FYI, Door Dash delivered some Pizza Hut from Rochester. We met them at the front gate, but it definitely saves a ride into Rochester.)

This KOA is ideally situated and offers a variety of accommodations. The grounds are clean and well-appointed. There is a pool, playground, basketball courts and a pond. Paddle boats, kayaks, and canoes are available for a fee and in good condition. We stayed for a week and enjoyed it very much. It was located within driving distance of Maine, Vermont, and Massachusetts. We would have spent more time exploring and relaxing at the KOA if not for our travel itinerary. I recommend this place to anyone traveling through the Granite State. Check it out!
