We enjoyed an exciting stay at Rt 66 KOA! We arrived as it started to rain and found our campsite. Two neighbors rushed over to help us get set up and even helped tape a patch over a place where our RV had lost a panel on the windy drive that day. Everyone was so kind and helpful!

Services were good and staff excellent…only issues were the trains going passed beside the Park till 10pm and start up at 6am, along with mostly dirt around the sites

Everything was nice and clean. All the staff was super helpful. The train blaring often when sleeping was tough. Didn’t realize that would be a problem until we were already staying there. I know they can’t help it, but an early (4:30 am) and late trains make for an early alarm.

Very clean and well maintained. The person who checked us in was excellent and helped us find the best spot for our needs. Spaces were a little tight and it was tough to fit both the truck and the camper trailer.

Only thing needed is a teak mat or similar to step onto out of showers. It’s not pleasant standing in water getting dressed. Other than that very good

We stayed just one night while traveling. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The showers/bathrooms were clean but a bit busy since some were undergoing renovations. The Camp kitchen was a nice amenity, and if we were staying longer we would have used it. Wooded area, lots of children having fun. Some loud train noise, but intermittent and not disturbing at night. Available pizza/wings.

Got a site right across from bathroom-- which we requested. It was very quiet and peaceful.

Nice campground beautiful lake view. Didn't use the restrooms, weather was cold and rainy we were there for one night. We ordered pizza and it was very good. We would stay here again.

Given the campsite was not full, would have liked a site closer to the bathrooms.

We just stopped by traveling thur, we asked for an easy exit because we left very early in the morning and didn’t want to make to my noise. Park was clear great shower, and Apollo loved the pet area. We received free cookies and if we would have stay later they offered breakfast,very nice touch!!Happy New Year’s Mike and Susan

Friendly staff member greeted us upon arriving. Easy access to interstate. Just what we needed for the night traveling on to Arizona. Would definitely stay again.

As usual for KOA, easy to find, convenient, easy check in, spotless, nothing to complain about with the facilities. We travel cross country several times a year and use KOA as a dependable, safe place for overnight rest. This KOA was located beside a railroad and near an airport. Between planes landing and the train whistle every hour all night long, poor sleep. Won't stay again; otherwise nice.

Meticulously maintained and very clean. Staff was very kind and helpful. The only thing you should be aware of is that a train does run close to the campground about every hour. However, I would return due to the great care the staff and management provide at this KOA.

Very clean with great service team. Being close to a railroad crossing had it's drawbacks late at night with the horn blowing 2 to 4 times. However, I would return if my travels take me by here in the future.

I was able to stay at a pull through site that was set up for a motorhome. The connections were right, where they should be. I appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. It was a great stay! I have relatives in Springfield and I love the location.

Who put a campground next to a train? I was so tired and looking forward to a good sleep but the train woke me up 3 times. I’ll never come again and I will never recommend this campground. Too bad because the place is nice. Regardless, I left mad and tired in the morning. I’m not happy that I paid to have terrible night.

Was surprised by the number of trains that passed by all night long. Also, tried to use the air station to check tire pressure. It didn't work, but it did take my two dollars in quarters.

We just got our travel trailer and decided to do a maiden run to a local RV park. This KOA was beautiful. We walked in and were instantly assaulted by the smell of fresh baked pizza. Ohhh my gosh! Drool. The pool was being worked on and wasn't open because of cold weather. There were nice, clean restrooms and showers. There was a camping kitchen available for campers. They pay homage to Route 66 with some fun picture opts. The people who run/own the park were wonderful. Dan, the helper was so helpful in hints about how to hook up and unhook the Trailer. He perused the property stopping and chatting with people, helping deliver pizza, giving directions to here and there. Overall this KOA is going to be hard to beat.

I was visiting family that rolled in with their motorhome. The park was nice--It was clean 👍. It was quiet. I'd go back there. 👍🙌
