We had a great experience for our first ever KOA, it was clean, we loved the open grass field for our dog, and the bathrooms were clean. The train was very loud, that would be our only complaint, but we understand that is out of your control!

Nice Grounds. Mens bathroom is always too cold to take a shower comfortably. I do like having the ability to order a pizza and have it delivered. It’s nice to be able to add extra things and have it added to card.

The campground was well maintained and layed out especially if you have dogs. My site was excellent with reasonable space. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Looking for a night stay. This gave us the break we needed. I was surprised at a charge for my dog.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Apologies for any misunderstanding, but you were not charged anything for your dog. We only have a pet fee for cabin rentals. There is no charge for pets on RV sites and tent sites.

The KOA itself is nice enough but the location next to the train tracks that have a train every hour through the night blasting it's horn made for a horrible night with no rest. I wouldn't wish that on anyone especially those who are passing through on a road trip and desperately needed rest.

Great RV Park! Pizza restaurant was great! Only negative was the train blowing it's horn in the middle of the night. I would have given a 5 star if not for the train.

We have stayed here 3 times. Every time we are greeted with smiles and very helpful employees. The campground, bathrooms and showers are kept clean. We will stay here again when we are in the area.

This was our 2nd time staying here. Just there for one night as we traveled through, but I wish we could have stayed longer. The park was clean and in a great location. Only downfall was the train but it didn’t bother us much because the storms blowing through kept the train noise to a manageable level. For the price, this is a great value!!

We loved the Koa. Had an issue with a camper not picking up after their dog, but that was on the camper and not the grounds. Very clean, well taken care of and great wifi. Great on and off of I-44 and close to anything around town even though it's in "the country". Great for one night or more....plenty to do. There are trains that come by, but they weren't a bother.

We stayed for two nights. Campground is super nice and everyone was so friendly. We were even able to have some visitors. Only downside was the train track literally than ran right beside the campground. If you are like us and not used to a train it kept us up most of the night. Campground was located Close to everything we went to Springfield for! The best part was the pizza delivery to your door

We just needed a one night stay for a conference in Springfield. They were very helpful with the whole process. Bathrooms were easily accessible, and they were in excellent, clean condition. They did a wonderful job. We plan going back there for the next conference.

We just got our travel trailer and decided to do a maiden run to a local RV park. This KOA was beautiful. We walked in and were instantly assaulted by the smell of fresh baked pizza. Ohhh my gosh! Drool. The pool was being worked on and wasn't open because of cold weather. There were nice, clean restrooms and showers. There was a camping kitchen available for campers. They pay homage to Route 66 with some fun picture opts. The people who run/own the park were wonderful. Dan, the helper was so helpful in hints about how to hook up and unhook the Trailer. He perused the property stopping and chatting with people, helping deliver pizza, giving directions to here and there. Overall this KOA is going to be hard to beat.

I was visiting family that rolled in with their motorhome. The park was nice--It was clean 👍. It was quiet. I'd go back there. 👍🙌
