Very nicely kept facility with friendly, helpful staff and level sites. However, and not something the facility can controll, the hourly loud train wistles passing by all night long basicallykept us awake the whole time. It would have been nice to be forewarned. Be prepared if you are a light sleeper.

The team member who was staffing the office, pizza machine, restaurant, and telephone was working hard. It was not her fault that the electrical outlet at one site wasn’t working and the sewer was plugged at the site we moved to which caused it to back up on my shoes. (Plugged with a plastic dog poop bag down the pipe.) Fortunately it rained hard overnight and washed it away.

We liked almost everything about the KOA. The camp site was clean, the bathrooms were spotless, the amenities were fun. The only thing we struggled with were the trains that woke us up 3-4 times during the night. If we come again, we will bring ear plugs.

Out of all the empty spots, we got the one with the sewer port in the parking pad rather than by the other utilities. Trains! With horns! At midnight! Not great after a long drive. Otherwise it was good for an over night.

We’ve been staying here in the fall and spring on our way to Arizona for the last 4 years. Very nice campground, easy in and out. Always feel welcomed. We try to stay at KOA campgrounds.

Very nice people running this place. It's a bit of a parking lot, but that said, there are lots of trees around so it feels cozy.

Disappointed in the restroom and shower. Automatic lights shut off while sitting in stall or showering. Broken shower faucet, shower not hot, dirty exhaust fan, floor tile missing in shower, water damage to ceiling, dirty ceiling around HVAC supply vent. For 60 some dollars a night I expected a little better. We have stayed here several times. Each time we visit the quality slips down hill.

Our favorite place to stay. Come here several times a year. Springfield is a great town. Unlucky enough this time to stay by some people with several barking dogs that didn’t care. Not the campgrounds fault.

It was a nice campground that was pretty quiet until the weekend. There were three K9 parks, but all were rather small, and there seemed to be plenty of room to make at least one of them larger for big dogs to play in. Overall, it was a great place to stay.

Great place, lots of shade, cheerful employees. Clean showers. We decided to head home a day early and were refunded the day’s price easily.

They are the only Koa tjat we stayed at that goes above and beyond all the other Koa's. We stayed at 16 of them in 3 months. Fabulous place, would definitely stay her again. Pizza was amazing by the way.

The campground was very nice, the staff was professional and helpful. The only draw back, which is no reflection on the campground, is all the construction going on in that area, so it was tricky navigating to get there. The staff was helpful in explaining the best way to get back on the highway where we needed to go. Would recommend this campground to anyone passing through or staying longer.

Beautiful campground. Noisy with the train and airplanes. Needs updated with some painting. No hot water in the showers half of the time.

Hosts were great. Deluxe site was very nice. Loved the swing and grill. Train whistle not as bad as people made it out to be.

Very nice campground and friendly staff. The only reason for the 9 and 4 ratings is because of the loud trains passing through multiple times of the day and night.

We LOVE TRAINS. So you better prepare yourself for the train blowing its horn at 4:30 in the morning. Wish they would have cleaned up the area. Ankle deep in leaves. Yes I know that the leaves are changing and dropping. But I don’t think any effort was made to keep the area clean.

Loved the dog park. Bathhouse was clean and water super hot. We thought the campground was very well maintained. The theme was fantastic and there are lots of things to do.

The stay was good but our site needed some gravel to balance out the path into the site and the lawn was not cleared from tall grass or leaves. I had to clear it myself

We always enjoy out stay at Springfield/Route 66 KOA. Enjoy seeing updates they make since our last stay. Looking forward to staying again when we are in the area.

Great park with first class bathrooms and showers. Only thing keeping it from a 10 was the 7 AM train whistle, and the train whistles through the evening.

The folks were extra nice and helpful - the grounds were very clean and organized, well prepared for any camping needs - neat little cabins available too. They are near railroad tracks with the faint sound of interstate traffic in the distant, all 'just a part of the journey' and the friendly character of the area. Will return.

This KOA does have RV/5th wheel/travel trailer and tent camping sites. They also have cabin rentals. Availability of a store, showers, bathrooms, laundry, swimming pool, playground, etc. This location is parallel to a major highway, and right next to a railroad track.
