Very unwelcoming — they tried to charge us $20 because we were there before 2:00 and said it’s in our reservation email that this is their policy. It is NOT in their policy. Then they sent us to our camp site and we went there to find out someone else was already in that site. They had no idea who it was. Finally they found us a site since we were staying for a week.

Great place. Beautiful setting. Friendly ownership. Clean bathrooms. Well stocked store. It would be nice to either have grates over the fire rings for grilling, or a community grilling area. Would stay there again!

Great place to stay with our grandkids - great playground and lots of things to do. The only reason we didn't give 5 stars is the barking from the sled dog kennel next door. In the daytime it wasn't too bad but in the middle of the night it was frustrating.

The bathrooms were exceptionally clean and modern. The views were terrific!! the only complaint was with the wifi, it was pretty much non existent, and these days there really is no excuse for that, especially with a newer campground.

It was a beautiful KOA, outside you a view of the mountains, and eagles nest outside my door, it was close to down town. The owners were very friendly and courteous to our needs, even when there was no WiFi connection it’s still a beautiful place. We enjoyed the week we were there. Met some really good people from different states.

We stayed at Seward KOA last summer on multiple occasions. There is a noticeable decrease in maintenance and cleanliness from last year to this year and quiet hours were not enforced. Still a great place to stay but won’t be by next year if it continues to decline.

Exceptional. Showers were the best. Associates were very congenial and helpful. Highly recommended. Oh and the visit by Bullwinkle J Moose at my campsite was a bonus.

Super friendly managers....great stock at the little KOA store, beautiful sites well maintained and continued improvements to the sites (adding concrete pads, etc) will enhance this great KOA even more. We loved our stay here. Yes, you pay a little more but the location is spectacular and about half way between the town of Seward and the national park where Exit Glacier is located.

The owners and camp hosts were very kind and friendly. Our kids had a blast playing on the real ship in the playground with other children. The spaces were much more spacious than other Seward RV parks—we even had space to play lawn games.We loved the nesting eagles, and sled dogs barely made a peep. We stayed with you is because your website specifically says there is Wi-Fi in every campsite, not true due to you having a hard time getting Internet service, I understand challenge but work from RV & would not have stayed if you were upfront about WiFi, sitting on your deck in the rain was not a option. For the amount you charge you need to solve issue, or remove claim of WiFi from your website

The campground was fantastic - Nice level sites, clean, beautiful views, friendly office staff. Unfortunately, the incessant barking from the dog camp was awful! Even though we were on the opposite side and had our windows closed, we could hear the barking for hours.

Very convenient and clean. People in the office were very kind. Playgrounds were fun. Scavenger hunt was fun. (Ink pads were a bit dry, but mostly worked.) the first couple nights we were confused by the sound of dogs, thought it was wild animals then realised it was dogsled dogs next door. We really enjoyed our stay.

The campgrounds was very neat and clean. Billy and Bree were very friendly. We had a tire issue with our camper trailer and Billy tried to help us find a new tire. Bree booked our Kenai Fiord cruise and arranged transportation into town. Very very good experience...

Outstanding campground, well maintained and equipped. A real gem hidden on the beautiful Kenai peninsula. Friendly, helpful staff. Definitely returning soon!

KOA is nice, friendly, clean, easily accessible, and all things good. However, this one stay we experienced a nuisance: someone brought a motorized child's jeep machine. Apparently the folks thought the KOA was a motorized park for the kids. The machine was driven around the park roads for hours, faster than the 5 MPH posted sign, stirred up dust, had kids running after it in an unsafe manner.

Wonderful campground, nice clean showers, pleasant and helpful campground hosts, fun scavenger hunt for my daughter. Just wish they were located next door to a dog kennel. Dogs bark and howl all the time. Not as bad when you’re inside your camper but if I had been in a tent I would have needed earplugs.

This is a clean family friendly campground that never disappoints. It is always fun to watch the eagles and be close to the EXIT glacier. The owners are always helpful. We would highly recommend this campground!

Our GPS took us straight to this campground just before Seward on Glacier Road. Check-in was quick and easy, and we headed to Deluxe Patio FHU Site 14 with 50 AMP. From the Journey signage, it appeared this KOA had recently been upgraded to a Holiday. The campground was laid out nicely, with sites not squished together. The gravel pad was long enough for our 40' toy hauler, allowing us to drop the rear deck and still park our F450. Utilities were well-centered on the pad, and having two sewer hookups was especially convenient since we have two black tanks. Along with the usual deluxe patio amenities, we appreciated the astroturf lawn for our pups. Trees lined the side and back perimeters, but with none along the road side we had a clear Starlink shot. The campground also provided Starlink WiFi with download speeds around 22.8 Mbps. Water pressure was steady at 35–40 PSI. Verizon gave us 2 bars, while T-Mobile had none. Amenities included a tidy laundry with three front-load washers and three regular-sized dryers. A fun bonus was hearing sled dogs barking at Turning Heads Kennel next door, an Iditarod competitor offering kennel tours and sled dog rides both there and on the glacier. We also enjoyed watching eaglets in the nest right across from our site. The staff were very accommodating, even moving a grill for us and delivering a propane fill back to our site. Overall, this was a well-run campground with thoughtful upgrades and memorable surroundings.
