Always the best in the state! We love it. Clean area, bathrooms are clean, and above all, friendly staff, and good service. Firewood is handy but expensive. We appreciate you, Scott & Janeen.

We had horrible weather but the facilities are so nice. Great showers and laundry room. Nice spot to hang out where it’s warm and dry.

Plenty of spots to pick from, friendly staff, clean facilities.

The KOA is right next door to a sled dog kennel and the Alaskan huskies bark and howl early and often. The suite bathrooms and laundry room were nice and clean.

We stayed in our 44ft long 5th wheel. The sights are nice and wide, our sight, with many others, had turf, a picnic table and a couple of chairs. Very nice instead of dirt. The staff is very nice and helpful, they have an active eagles nest, which was right in front of us with 3 eaglets getting ready to fly away. Very convenient to downtown. Bathrooms are very clean and nice and a small tv room.

Great place to stay. In general not much privacy at the sites

Staff at the office/store were the best, clean laundry, showers and restrooms. Beautiful views of the mountains. Big graveled camping spaces and no mud. Nice coffee shop
Aug 25, 2024
The overall facilities were nice. However, tent sites are far from the bathrooms. The store is only open 9-6 making it basically useless. And the howling of dogs all night long from the kennel next door was disruptive.

Sites were a good size. Not too far away from town. Staff was very friendly. Would stay again. Plus was the Eagle nest!

The best KOA we’ve stayed at! Everything about this park was exceptional. Close to Seward, spacious sites, easy to maneuver through the campground. The staff were friendly, professional and very helpful. The coffee bar in the lodge was “the bomb” The eagle’s nest, with baby eagles, was super fun to watch.

It was a very beautiful area. The staff were all helpful. Nice gift shop/store. We enjoyed the coffee and sitting on the deck. It is in walking distance of a wonderful restaurant too. The only drawback is that it's right next to sled dog training and they bark and howl in the morning and early evening. Fortunately, we were gone most of the days exploring.

Great place to stay! Great bathhouse and restrooms. My one suggestion would be to either have grates for each fire pit, or offer them for rent rather than just purchase.

This was our second time there to do a Kenia tour. Very clean, convenient, multiple amenities to help enjoy your stay.

We stayed 1 night on site 15 for the BBQ and seating. It was a great spot! We are still here, on site 62, until 8/20. Staff have been very friendly and helpful. The gift shop/store is very nice and the coffee was so good! Beautiful view here and right on the road to visit the Exit Glacier. The only criticism we have is the dog kennel next door.

Very clean park. Friendly staff and beautiful views.

From the Eagle nest above us to the Adventure Sixty North, Salmon Bake and more to our left, and the Exit Glacier to our right, this conveniently located KOA is a great one!!

Great location. Nice size lots. All brand new so everything worked well and looked good.

Facilities were okay but the neighboring dog kennel noise kept me awake. It was very annoying all times of the day. If I had the choice I would rather sleep along a noisy highway.

lovely setting, lovely campground, lovely hosts. The river runs just across the road and an easy walk to stroll the gravel bars and watch the river. Plenty of space between sites, internal roads are plenty wide for navigation. Campground is clean, well-maintained.

Beautiful, clean campground. Friendly and helpful staff. Need a mechanic and they recommended one who returned my phone call and came to RV site and made repairs!

This is one of the best k o a's I have ever stayed at.
Aug 02, 2024
You hit it out of the park with the clean, warm showers!!! Will be back!
Aug 02, 2024
Away from the main street -> less car noise but since the neighbours are sled dogs, it might get a bit more noisy occasionally. Showers and cleanliness are ok.

What a wonderful KOA…the grounds are kept impeccable… including the bath, shower, and laundry facilities… there is a lot of fun things to do on sight… as well as the camp grounds being close to other activities Seward has to offer. The people running the store and accommodations are friendly and helpful. I would recommend coming and spending time at the KOA in Seward.

Our GPS took us straight to this campground just before Seward on Glacier Road. Check-in was quick and easy, and we headed to Deluxe Patio FHU Site 14 with 50 AMP. From the Journey signage, it appeared this KOA had recently been upgraded to a Holiday. The campground was laid out nicely, with sites not squished together. The gravel pad was long enough for our 40' toy hauler, allowing us to drop the rear deck and still park our F450. Utilities were well-centered on the pad, and having two sewer hookups was especially convenient since we have two black tanks. Along with the usual deluxe patio amenities, we appreciated the astroturf lawn for our pups. Trees lined the side and back perimeters, but with none along the road side we had a clear Starlink shot. The campground also provided Starlink WiFi with download speeds around 22.8 Mbps. Water pressure was steady at 35–40 PSI. Verizon gave us 2 bars, while T-Mobile had none. Amenities included a tidy laundry with three front-load washers and three regular-sized dryers. A fun bonus was hearing sled dogs barking at Turning Heads Kennel next door, an Iditarod competitor offering kennel tours and sled dog rides both there and on the glacier. We also enjoyed watching eaglets in the nest right across from our site. The staff were very accommodating, even moving a grill for us and delivering a propane fill back to our site. Overall, this was a well-run campground with thoughtful upgrades and memorable surroundings.
