Campers, the Sault Ste. Marie KOA Holiday welcomes you! Please read this Code of Conduct (the Code) and review it with all family members. The rules in this Code must be followed to ensure we all stay safe and do not engage in activities that contravene any Provincial or Federal Government regulations and ensure we comply with all health regulations. This Code is over and above our normal campground rules, which still apply. Strict enforcement of all rules will be in place for all people on your site. Any camper, regardless of age, who breaches this Code will be asked to leave the campground immediately and your License of Occupation will be canceled immediately.If you have a fever or flu-type symptoms, please stay home. If you have tested positive for COVID-19, are a presumptive case, or have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive or is a presumptive case, we request that you do not attempt to enter the campground. Please remain at your residence until you have been cleared by your local health department and/or you have finished your self-isolation of 14 days. At this time, we will be operating under the following rules. These rules may change as the Ontario or Federal Government amends legislation:
Arrival and Check-In: Please come into office at arrival to check in. Masks ARE Required inside ALL buildings; no exceptions. All campers will be escorted. RVs after hours please use night registration. No after hours arrivals permitted for Tents, Pop ups and those without bathrooms as the restrooms are locked. Please reserve.
Visitors: This season, only people who are registered at the time of arrival will be permitted in the Sault Ste. Marie KOA Holiday. No outside visitors permitted on property.
Restrooms: RV and Deluxe Cabin guests are requested to use their own facilities and save the public restrooms for those without. There are extra cleaning protocols in place with more frequent cleaning in the restrooms. We want everyone to be safe and reduce the exposure in the restrooms. Masks required.
Walking around Campground: At all times, campers must obey physical distancing rules as mandated by the Province of Ontario. Currently, you must stay 2 meters or 6 feet away from other campers. You may use walking trails if physical distancing rules are followed. Use of a mask is recommended, but not mandatory outside while observing physical distancing.
The Pool will be available and Pool hours are posted at the pool. Physical distancing is required for all persons, unless from the same household. Allowed amount of people inside enclosure and in the pool at one time are posted at the pool. Please be courteous to other guests and allow everyone to enjoy the pool. This is per the Ontario restrictions in place at this time.
Limit of People on a Campsite: The number of people allowed on a campsite is 6 per site. If you are planning gathering people from more than one site, please contact us to make arrangements.
Children and/or Under the age of 16: We expect that all parents will ensure their children will obey the rules 24/7. If your children cannot follow these rules, please do not bring them to the campground at this time.
Office/Store: The Office is open 9am to 9pm. Masks Required, 100% compliance. Children included. Hours change as season progresses.
Laundry: The Laundry is open from 9am to 8:30pm. Last load start by 7:15pm please. Enter from rear of building. Masks Required.
