With the current COVID-19 requirements, The US/Canada Border is closed to all non-essential traffic until 21 June 2020 and the Government of Ontario has closed ALL Ontario campgrounds unless the campers have a full season contract or Guests that need a site and are Full time RVrs residing in their RV. Only self contained Rvs, no tents; no restrooms are available. We are now permitted to open limited Rustic and Deluxe Cabins as the order regarding these accommodations has been amended. Please call for reservations. Still no tenting.
Camper Code of Conduct Regarding COVID-19
Campers,The Sault Ste. Marie KOA Holiday welcomes you! Please read this Code of Conduct (the Code) and review it with all family members. The rules in this Code must be followed to ensure we all stay safe and do not engage in activities that contravene any Provincial or Federal Government regulations and ensure we comply with all health regulations. This Code is over and above our normal campground rules, which still apply. Strict enforcement of all rules will be in place for all people on your site.
Any camper, regardless of age, who breaches this Code will be asked to leave the campground immediately and your License of Occupation will be canceled immediately.
If you have a fever or flu-type symptoms, please stay home. If you have tested positive for COVID-19, are a presumptive case, or have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive or is a presumptive case, we request that you do not attempt to enter the campground. Please remain at your residence until you have been cleared by your local health department and/or you have finished your self-isolation of 14 days.
At this time, we will be operating under the following rules. These rules may change as the Ontario or Federal Government amends legislation:
Arrival and Check-In: All guests are required to have a reservation upon arrival. Please call 705-759-2344 or honk your horn to announce your arrival. Someone will be out to escort you to your site. All campers will be escorted. No after hours arrivals permitted without prior arrangements. A copy of your registration will be emailed to you. This document will be required to be signed upon arrival. Please have your own pen handy. As an alternative, you may wish to email a signed copy of this document prior to your arrival.
Visitors: Until further notice, only people who are registered at the time of arrival will be permitted in the Sault Ste. Marie KOA Holiday. No outside visitors permitted on property.
Common Areas: The following common areas are closed until further notice. All areas that are closed are indicated with a sign. If you are unsure whether something is closed or not, please contact the office for clarification.
