This was our first time, and I can honestly say it won’t be our last. It was a wonderful experience, our deluxe Cabin was clean and presentable, and I definitely will return or stay at another KOA moving forward. Thank you for the great experience, and the staff was very friendly. It made it very welcoming. Thanks again.

It was my first time staying at this KOA and I loved it wish I could’ve stayed longer. It was such a wonderful place for me and my puppy. There is lots to do for all ages and a lot for pets to do. I would 100% recommend this KOA to everyone I know travelling through. Thank you for everything Bill and Joan

Passing through travellers, ended up a KOA Sault Ste Marie and was impressed with the organized and well kept grounds! Cabin was cozy and had a very restful sleep in their Cabin! Place was clean and presentable! Consider KOA campground as your hotel/motel alternative!

We had 16 people in our group which rented 5 cabins in total plus a serviced lot for a 27-foot trailer. Everyone really enjoyed the campground and found the facilities very clean, especially the washrooms/showers and laundry.

It was my family’s first time to camp,and we wanted it to be a memorable experience that is why we booked at KOA because of their amenities and activities.However, at around 11pm,the owner came to us and told us that we are very noisy and to stop whatever we are doing or else he will ask us to leave.I just feel that it was so unprofessional and very rude.We felt discriminated because of our race

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Quiet hours begin at 10 pm. One cabin, four tent sites together plus numerous unregistered visitors & cars. We received noise complaints from other guests and it was necessary to speak to these guests about it. They were rude and uncooperative.

Our experience in Sault-Saint-Marie has begun with an incident with our travel. It has been really easy to shift our campsite reservation for a cabin. A big bravo to all employees for there kindness and professionalism! Finally, the campground is really beautiful and well maintained! Merci beaucoup!

So great to be back staying with your KOA family in the Soo. I travel for work in sales and love staying in the cabins while working in the area. This trip included wildlife adventures like the cute little bunny and the curious bear cub(too late! I left her no wine,snacks or smores). Clean washrooms and great staff of course. Always welcoming and helpful. Love the firepit area at Cabin 5.

Excellent stay as always! This KOA is so welcoming with great hospitality from all the staff. Everything is so well thought out and planned it makes it so easy to just relax and enjoy your trip.

The KOA in the sault is the best place to stay for your perfect family getaway! Amazing cabins and tent sites! The trails are perfect for enjoying a nice easy walk in the woods! Perfect place to stay with your pets as you can tell they LOVE dogs. The trials are also enjoyable with your dog and then have 2 beautiful play areas for them to romp in. You maybe lucky enough you to catch a dog show!

I have always loved going to Sault Ste Marie and staying at KOA. Great service and hospitality. Highly recommended campground. Cabins are awesome too. Will definitely be back soon.

Thank you! We always have a great time at the KOA. Clean family friendly and lots of fun for the kids. This year they enjoyed the go carts and mining for rocks and crystals ! Two thumbs up!:)

Clean, dog friendly and many amenities. The only thing I disliked was the additional charge for the dog cleaning fee. Most kids make more of a mess than my non-shedding dog.

The whole campground is absolutely beautiful. From the flowers, landscaping and well kept grounds; to the friendly owners and staff, it will keep you coming back year after year.

I first started inna tent site but up graded to the reg cabin. It was nice. The camp ground was nice n clean same as the cabin n bathroom, showes. Only issue was some noise from other guest n dogs barking other then that it was a pleasant stay.

Our tent site was very private and relaxing. Our other night was in a tiny cabin which was awesome too! Beautiful KOA and we love that you are dog friendly. Next time bringing our dog! We will be back!

I have never stayed at a campground that was so clean. The toilets, showers and site are kept in perfect condition. We were here because of the amenities and we used most of them.

Beautiful place, friendly people, dog friendly. Very nicely appointed KOA camping cabins. Just wish the washrooms were a little closer.

Deluxe cabin was very clean and contained everything we needed for our stay. Lots of amenities at the campground. A great place for families and pets although we were travelling without either kids or pets this time. Staff were all friendly and helpful. One suggestion: if possible it would be great if you could offer a recycling bin for plastics and paper.

Very nice campground. Great amenities. Unfortunately, the bugs were so bad we couldn't enjoy it. I know there is only so much that campground can control in regards to bugs, but I would probably not return for camping again this time of year. I bet it would be great in the fall!

Such a cute cabin. Loved the bear accents. Ample room for storage of luggage with bench and bunks. Also lots of room for toiletries in bathroom. Many nice details-bed lights, nite light. Very clean. Sheets on bed should be replaced-very pilled. Not enough on demand hot water. Very nice outside patio. Very well stocked kitchen. Grounds were excellent!

Bill and Joan Richard are the most amazing hosts. They answered all our questions and were ready for us the moment we arrived. Our Cabin was so clean and the grounds impeccably kept. They had the cleanest bathrooms and showers we have ever had. An amazing time was had by all. Also, the best pet friendly environment!!!!

Nice decent sized campsites but the showers are fabulous. Lots of pressure and hot water. The washroom and shower area were spotless. This is the best we have seen at KOA campgrounds in the USA and in Canada including Provincial Campgrounds. The other nicety is this campground is far away from the highway and very quiet, not like a Provincial Campground about an hour away.

Terrific RV and tent campground. Owners and staff are very friendly and professional. The campground is well maintained and has lots to offer for adults and children. The washrooms and showers are clean and are closed for an hour daily to allow for major cleaning by the staff. They accommodated our ´big rig' (with advanced booking) and (as always) were most helpful during our latest stay. We make this an annual stop. This year we went specifically to enjoy the colours of the fall and were rewarded with spectacular displays. We stayed for 10 nights. The campground parameters and schedules are well laid out and following them makes for a most enjoyable stay. This park is dog friendly and we appreciate the folks that follow the pet guidelines. We highly recommend this campground - it's in a terrific location close to town amenities (10 minute drive). There is some faint highway noise and a few trains - far less than most of the campgrounds that we have stayed in - certainly didn't disturb our sleeping.
