This was a lovely spot to stay. It’s wonderful and quiet. Not a party campground and really dog friendly.

It is the only RV spot in SSM. Small expensive spots. With gas and the rest being so much probably our last trip north. If we do come again to visit friends we will hotel it.

We stayed one night on the way to ThunderBay. Then decided on two nights on the way home. Great park for families with an updated playground, clean bathrooms, and well maintained grounds. Bill and Gray in the office were very kind and helpful. Highly recommend this park.

A one night stay for some emergency repairs at a local RV dealership. The site was spacious and quiet with full services.

I ask for cancelled 48 hrs before my second days reservation and he don’t want to refund me

Cancellations and reduction of nights must be done at least 48 hours prior to arrival, per the KOA policy.

Wonderful KOA. Very clean and well kept. Bathrooms and showers terrific. Great area for exercise walks. LOVE THE RV WASHING STATION! Personnel very friendly. Not sure what KOA can do about it but this location suffered through dog owners NOT controlling their dogs from barking. Maybe KOA can stop allowing pets? Sure hope so or............pet must be muzzled? Super nice employees.

Had we been advised of a noise issue, we would have addressed the problem. Unfortunately, there is little that we can do after the fact.

We have stays at Sault St Marie KOA a number of times. There is a lot to do for everyone, including your dogs! The staff are very friendly and the facilities are clean. The grounds are neat and tidy. It looks great, whether in the summer when the flowers are in bloom, or the fall when the leaves are turning their fall colours!

it's a well maintained, very nice, calm place. Only one thing: way to many dogs, they are left allone in the Vans and bark endless and they used our spot as their bathroom.

We had a great stay at this beautiful place. The staff are friendly, the hosts are wonderful, and the grounds are meticulously well kept. We will be back at least twice next summer!

Nice clean campground. Everything was good. Too many dogs in park for us. If you love dogs this is the place for you. Barking is the last thing you'll hear, and the first thing you'll hear in the morning. Guess they had some sort of dog event the weekend we were there.

My only suggestion is days that there are dog competitions, is to ask the competitors to remember quiet hours and understand that there are people staying onsite. I had an experience in the rest room where a team member of KOA was cleaning the bathrooms and they were running a bit behind. It was 1:03pm (the cleaning hours sign said 12-1) those who were not staying in KOA were very rude :(

Very accommodating I have a disability and the washrooms were great. And the shower was nice and large for me to have a shower. I was very, very happy with the service and how things were set up.

Stayed on trip out and back. Both times were great. Showers and Washrooms spotless. Site was neat and well cared for. Would definitely recommend and return again.

Had a full hook up site with sewer, water and electric. Site was small. Picnic table on top of neighbours sewer hookup. Owner was rude.

The roadway into campground was full of potholes, and was dirty and dusty. Washrooms were dirty. Smell from dump station was nauseating. Sites were small with no privacy. Nickle and dimed us for everything. Owner was rude. We would have expected better from a KOA kampground.

This is the best KOA in Ontario. This camp is clearly well run and managed and the owners have pride in their KOA camp. The sites are well spaced, and have trees and greenery which is lacking in many other KOA's. You feel like you are in the great outdoors and not just in a field with a marker with your site number on it. Washrooms and facilities top notch. Well worth a visit, and close to town.

Had we been made aware of the noise while the guest was here, we would have looked after the issue. Unfortunately, we are unable to correct the problem after the fact. We have tried to control the heavy rain in the past, but we have not had any luck with that. ;-)

Stopped here on our way to Airventure in Oshkosh. A very pleasant stopover - was directed to our campsite and also helped to back in. Have stayed here a couple of times in the past and knew exactly were I was going to stay on this trip.

There were people who had four dogs and they were always barking!

Beautiful park! Only negative was that you had to rent the bikes for the kids, it would be better if they charged a bit more for each site and threw the kids stuff in for free. Countryside Acres Homestead

Thank you for the unforgettable experience! Our honeymoon adventure began with a stay in our tent at KOA and it was absolutely wonderful! The campsite was a slice of paradise. Surrounded by nature's beauty, we felt like we were in our own little world. The amenities were top-notch, and the cleanliness of the facilities was impressive. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and kind, going out of their way to make us feel at home. We spent our days exploring the nearby attractions, including a fantastic nature walk within KOA itself, which added to the charm of the place. Our nights were filled with the sounds of the forest and the crackling campfire. They provided the perfect backdrop for the first half of our honeymoon, and we couldn't have asked for a more idyllic start to our journey together. We are excited to come back! Thank you again, for making our honeymoon so memorable.
