Very nice, clean, friendly, and great amenities. Family loves it been camping here for the past 33 years. Now my children are doing the same tradition with their children.

4th of July weekend obviously is going to be a full campground. We love all the shade and stuff to do with the kiddos! They were quick to handle some unruly drunks in the tent site next to us. pool opens at 9am and I was there by 9:05 to get a couple of chairs since the kids wanted to be at the pool, and all chairs tables and loungers were already taken ��

We had a great time but we had to reach out to the office multiple times to quiet our neighbors who were extremely loud till 2 in the morning.

Used the KOA as a basecamp for trios to beach sea world and other places. While some things were a but far , KOA provided good value.

Camp amenities were amazing. It was clean and beautiful. The only sad element was sound. The crows and the neighbors. KOA can't do anything about crows, but it was clear that KOA doesn't really enforce their noise restrictions. Overall though, a great spot!

This was our first time at the San Diego Metro KOA and it is safe to say we will be returning every summer! Our kids and all family that came had a blast. Thank you to all staff that was so nice and helpful during our stay!

We all had a wonderful time, as always. Bobbi and her team were beyond wonderful. My son came to pick up his son from us and was totally amazed at it. He and his family will probably come with us next year. We will get cabins next to each other. Again thank you for a great vacation.

Great spot, loved how clean the bathrooms/showers are. Loved the on-site café option as well. Will definitely be back. Didn't love the sprinklers blasting our tent at 1am, however.

We are so happy to have found KOA campground! Every time we stay, we feel safe, and that's my main concern. Everything is very clean and the workers are very respectful. We enjoy your poolside and the entertainment you offer for kids and families. I feel rejuvenate when I leave. We are from San Diego CA and I would highly recommend you. Thank you again.

I love the activities like the mermaid and pirate, and the amenities catered for the kids. My daughter enjoyed all of it!

KOA is a wonderful campground in Chula Vista. As a native it feels I’m not in my own neighborhood. The amenities here are great and the kids love it here. We try and come at least once a year hopefully we can experience all camping options in the years to come.

Great activities, amenities and events. Obviously, the sites feel crowded and tent sites seem expensive in comparison to other facilities. Wish that recycling was easier/emphasized. Bikes seem expensive and unfortunate that there’s not a longer rental option.

Facilities were clean and well maintained. Kids activities were fun and managed well. Unfortunately, we had pull through sites near the pool/tent area and witnessed a family tent camping with some severe domestic violence/disturbances. The couple, with 3 small children (often left alone) were loudly arguing through multiple nights of our stay. We filed a complaint but no action was taken from staf

Great experience, especially if you're a first timer or trying camping with first time kids. Its not completely in the wilderness nor is it completely in the city. it's a good in between. Staff were friendly. there was always something to do event-wise and plenty of parks and things for the kids to do.

I didn't really know what to expect as I'd never stayed at a KOA before but it truly exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff was so friendly, was able to answer any questions I had, and they were everywhere! You could always find someone! The facilities were clean, there was a ton to do, and my kids loved it.

We had a fantastic time at KOA Chula Vista. The young people that led the gaga ball game were fun and great with the kids. The pool was warm and clean. The property was clean and seemed safe. My only complaint was the staff at the restaurant were not very friendly and seemed annoyed when I asked for forks and napkins to go with our food.

Perfect as always, everyone respects the quiet time, the pool was perfectly clean, and the site was in great condition. The only minor issue, not KOA's fault, was that campers sometimes left the showers in poor condition. On the first morning, I found a used sanitary towel in the shower, and the next day, whoever had used it before me left trash all over the floor. Shame that people are so bad.

Koa is super nice and clean. I love it here. Staff is wonderful and what I love the most is all the activities they have for the kids and family's. Bobby is super cool and she so good to the kids. She running a awesome program. We already booked out next trip for July for a week and 2 days. Can't wait. We love you KOA Chula Vista

I came here to introduce my son to tent camping and he loved it! As a single mom, I felt very safe here because I regularly saw staff patrolling. The food at the cafe was really good. The only thing they didn't have that would have been helpful is a family restroom for people who need to help a disabled loved one. If there was one, I didn't see it. Overall, a great place! We will be back!

There was worms falling down from the eucalyptus tree above us all over our stuff on the pick nick table Thursday morning when we woke up at 6 am, the office wasn’t open yet so I went home and brought my canopy. Friday night the noise ordinance wasn’t enforced ex loud people and music well past midnight. The pool area wasn’t very clean, example there was the same bird poop left on lounge c

There we 6 of us my sons family they have a 9 & 7 year old along with my husband and I. We tent camped and had the BEST time The facility was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. They offer so much to do and the kids really enjoyed the kids games and crafts offered.The only thing negative was the wood chips that kept getting stuck in our shoes or cutting our feet if we wore flip flop

We reserved a family tent site, I disliked that upon reservation it stated that it was a sand site and it ended up being a site with wood chips, or actually chopped branches that caused damage to tarps and tents. Also it attracts a lot of pincher bugs and ants. Otherwise, everything else was great and my family and I enjoyed our stay.

The staff was extremely friendly and made me feel very welcomed. We were only staying 1 night but because my kids enjoyed it so much , as it was our first time , we called to ask for a late check out and they made it possible. We were able to enjoy the pool a bit before leaving. The gift shop was so stocked which I loved so we didn’t have to leave. The food from the cafe was excellent as well.

This is an extraordinary place. There are hundreds of spots available to park your RV and vehicle and plug in for electricity and water as well as facilities for cleaning and maintaining your RV. Your choice of a small cabin, deluxe cabin, or deluxe cabin by the pool. They even have spots available where you can just pull in and pitch a tent. I really enjoyed the option to cook with the regular grill, gas grill, or the electric stoves that are available. Sinks with hot water for washing dishes. There is a laundry room is definitely a plus. The gift shop has just about everything and if you need something off-site then that's not a problem. Many stores within a 2-mile radius. Lots of activities available for adults and kids. Very pet friendly. The cabins are cozy and come with a plug-in, ceiling fan with a light, and comfortable bunk beds. I don't call it camping. I call it "glamping!" The restroom and shower facilities are top-notch and I do mean top-notch. There is plenty of space. The staff do an amazing job keeping this place clean and beautiful. I'll definitely be back I heard that it's good to book way ahead if you can. Even up to a year in advance.
