I love this KOA I go there all the time several times a year the last few times my site was dirty, not swept charcoal piles on the concrete… I feel if I pay for the spot the least it could be swept

We loved everything except the sit we had #2005 was very small. we could not extend our awning out due to a tree in the way. There were two other spots that backed right into our campsite area. For the money it was not enough room.

The park was very quiet and not many guests. We were placed right opposite another guest with an rv & they partied all night. I called Koa office at 2am and told the night manager to shut it down. There should be at least one security guard patrolling at night taking care of potential issues like this. If the park is empty, please allocate spots further away from other campers

Beautiful pool, great staff, friendly, many activities for kids, love the food at cafe and clean campsites. Loved our stay.

The star always go above and beyond. The ground are always clean and accessible. The staff offer so many opportunities for fun for the kids and adults! We’ve been coming here for 10 years!

The only thing I would change is the $50/night stay increase for next years event and making us pay the entire $390/2 nights up front to hold a spot for next year. Maybe just take a deposit especially since you raised your prices this makes it hard on families to continue the memories.

The only problem I had with our stay is they have too many young kids on e-bikes not being supervised my young kids and myself were nearly hit several times walking,That’s a safety issue! Also our internet did not work at all during our entire stay. Other than that our trip was great loved all the activities for kids.

Our stay was great, as always! The adult spa was useable but the surrounding deck was in a little disrepair. We always have a great time at this KOA!

We enjoyed our stay at the San Diego Metro KOA. The staff was extremely helpful and polite when we checked in and helped with our reservation for next year. The campus is clean and well maintained. The activities are fun for kids. the bathrooms and showers are maintained clean. We have attended this KOA for the past 20 years with our families and plan to continue to do so.

Disappointed in “30amp” spot our trailer couldnt even use ac when we arrived it kept trippin. Too many cars driving around during trick or treating

We love the Halloween weekend events. We especially loved the Family kickball game. I love getting the families together and playing. It was very sweet the way the pitcher (I think owner) was engaging with all the people including the littles. We love the pumpkin patch and the tie dye. The park is kept clean and all staff encountered were kind and caring.

First, San Diego Metro is the family‘s favorite campsite. Second, had a lot of campers walking through campsites and parking vehicles and open slots until camper showed up! Third. A few of the roadways you could even walk through because so many people blocked off this section as a personal driveway or walkway. Final. We will be back something for you guys to think about. Amazing place and amazing people. Over the top with decor for Halloween�. Everyday was filled with activities for the family. This is our 3rd time at this KOA and it was the BEST!

We had an absolutely wonderful weekend at Chula Vista KOA! Our family enjoyed every moment together, from playing and laughing to reading, relaxing, and making beautiful memories. The sense of community was incredible, and we felt so welcomed! We are beyond grateful for these special family moments. Thank you, KOA, for an amazing experience! We can't wait to return! �ϋ����

We had the best time! What a beautiful campground. I can tell you all really take great pride. My only regret was I didn’t come a day sooner so we could partake in the Halloween festivities; however, I have already booked next year‘s trip and will hopefully get to enjoy the Halloween program. Thank you for a great time.

The KOA was very dirty, trash all over our site along with other sites. Seems run down for the HIGH price we pay to stay. No longer have umbrellas with the lounge chairs and are not able to bring your own, so it limits the number of seats in the heat. This location used to be a favorite of ours and we won’t be coming back as often.

This year was a rather unusual trip being there was heavy rain in the forecast. Luckily the rain held out for the pumpkin patch, costume parade and trick or treating . The staff was well prepaired and pivoted perfectly to keep the kids busy while it was raining. Our group had an awesome time sitting in the rain with unbrellas and enjoying the fire until the rain put it out. Great memories =)

We stayed 3 nights for our annual Halloween festival trip. It poured rain all weekend. KOA staff did their best to keep the kids entertained and continue with the scheduled activities as able.

We had a very relaxing stay. The staff were very friendly, very knowledgeable, very helpful. Unfortunately, we had to cut our stay a little short, but we are definitely looking forward to another time when we can come back to enjoy the campground

Had an incident at another nearby campground; I had to relocate asap and have my rv detailed because of it. You had an opening for the same site for both an overnight stay and the next day detailing. I was allowed to stay until 6pm as cleaning the inside would take longer. Loved the site and the hospitality received by the staff. Our new SD Campsite is now the SD KOA! Wonderful stay!!!

We have been coming for years. This year was really remarkable compared to prior years. The homeless were gone, the park was exceptionally clean. I appreciated the enforcement of no noise after 10. The halloween thing was outstanding. We are looking forward to coming back next year. Hopefully it willl be cooler,

We absolutely loved our stay at this campground! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The grounds were clean, well-maintained, and beautifully landscaped, creating a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. The campsites were spacious, level, and offered plenty of privacy. The amenities were top-notch, including spotless restrooms, reliable hookups, and great facilities

This was our 5th annual Halloween stay at the KOA Metro. We enjoyed every moment. The only complaint we had was our campsite continually smelled like sewage all weekend. The odor was strong.

I wish there was more space for this review, but in short, while this KOA did build some fancy cabins around the pool and upgrade the pool/poolhouse itself, the campground overall is showing it is aging. I still wish they would build a walking path around all the rv/boat/trailer storage grounds, that would be nice for a long dog walk inside the campground.

This campground is always excellent, staff is very accommodating. We had a good time this weekend. My one feedback item, this was the first time in 9 years that we have been going where I saw roaches in the site. These were the big roaches you see everywhere but looked like the smaller house roaches. I didn’t see them until the last night we were there but there were a lot a few of them.

1. More canopies set out during pumpkin carving, or allow for carving kits to be borrowed and used at camp sites. 2. More umbrellas or cabanas at the pool. 3. Water down backlot driveway and backlot area more often to keep dust down. Especially when there are high winds and extreme heat. 4. Build a splash pad for children.

Frustrated w/ e-bikes & scooters…riding on sidewalks, in the dark no lights, going fast & riding on pool deck & in parade. BAN E-Bikes! I registered for 2 adults & 3 kids. Went to pumpkin patch with 2 of my 3 kids. 1 was at his baseball game. We had 3 tickets & told 1 pumpkin per ticket. Leaving the lady stopped us for having 3 pumkins & only 2 kids I explained, she was rude finally let us go

Very friendly place to stay. The staff was very helpful. I always stay Metro KOA when in San Diego. Very pleased with everything. My wife loves the Pool.

Everything would be excellent if there weren’t so many drunk people drinking in and around the pool, and playing their personal music loudly and kids flying on e-bikes. Other than that, the facilities, workers and experience is top notch.

So much fun for the kids! The staff at check in, hosts at the events, and around the campground are always so amazing! We have been coming here for 5 years and always have a great time! I recommended Fall Festival to 2 new people today!

Something needs to be done about the e-bikes. Speeding around campsites and riding on sidewalk. Gangs of kids riding together. Especially when trying to trick or treat. Why would you allow in costume parade? Also being questioned about number of pumpkins when some of our kids have sporting events and we are picking up their pumpkin. Why did you stop showing a movie.

This is an extraordinary place. There are hundreds of spots available to park your RV and vehicle and plug in for electricity and water as well as facilities for cleaning and maintaining your RV. Your choice of a small cabin, deluxe cabin, or deluxe cabin by the pool. They even have spots available where you can just pull in and pitch a tent. I really enjoyed the option to cook with the regular grill, gas grill, or the electric stoves that are available. Sinks with hot water for washing dishes. There is a laundry room is definitely a plus. The gift shop has just about everything and if you need something off-site then that's not a problem. Many stores within a 2-mile radius. Lots of activities available for adults and kids. Very pet friendly. The cabins are cozy and come with a plug-in, ceiling fan with a light, and comfortable bunk beds. I don't call it camping. I call it "glamping!" The restroom and shower facilities are top-notch and I do mean top-notch. There is plenty of space. The staff do an amazing job keeping this place clean and beautiful. I'll definitely be back I heard that it's good to book way ahead if you can. Even up to a year in advance.
