The staff was great and the property well maintained. I hated waking up every morning to the sound of crows cawing and waking up to everything covered in bird crap. Car, trailer and everything in the campground covered in crap every day. The mature trees are very nice but Mae it a place where hundreds of crows attract to daily during our three night visit in early November 2025.

Stayed for 3 nights to see the SD area. This KOA is huge and has a lot of nice amenities. The grounds and facilities are maintained and clean every day. Really nice place. A little on the expensive side and they don’t publish rates until booking. Also when I booked I was given only two options to choose. Both were “deluxe” more expensive. Great time as always!!! Amazed ng staff and activities!! Not a criticism but a bit of advice, I had four friends who wanted to stay they went on the KOA website said you had no sites available. But we noticed a lot of vacancies. You might wanna make sure that the site is giving the same information that is accurate with your situation.

Visit family who live close by. This place is delightful, especially for children. Love the pool and play area. This was our third visit and we will always stay here when visiting family in the area.

The activities are great. Activities seemed a little lacking this time (could have used a movie night, more backyard games (kickball, etc). The biggest frustration was staff allowing guests to completely block rows/roads between sites to the point no one could walk or ride a bike down a row. They were even harrasing people that did try to drive down the roads. Staff saw this nightly, did nothing.

It was my family’s first time camping at this Koa. Check-in was a breeze, the staff was very friendly and showed me how to get to my site. The activities were amazing there were bits for all ages, amenities were great, my children loved the jumper, the playgrounds and the backyard area. Bobbi did amazing and Madison helped us out a lot with our Tie Dying since we’ve never done them before.

The bird poop is ridiculous. This isnt new and koa knows but wont clean your spot ahead of time. Spots are covered in poop. Rv gets covered in poop. Shouldnt have to ask to have my spot cleaned

Very clean KOA campground, event coordinator is fantastic she had something everyday for the kids. The RV a little tight for 38 ft 5th wheel to make turns.

Our neighbor was smoking pot all the time. Can not stand the smell. Really put a damper on our stay. However the Kids had a great time as usual.

This has been a family tradition for 5 years, Halloween KOA Chula Vista with the gkids. This year was our best yet. Love the new express check in. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Cable didn't work upon arrival, immediately an employee fixed it (World Series ) so we were excited! Bobbi does a fantastic job with organizing and entertainment. Front desk staff is all smiles and efficient!

I feel the fee per night is too expensive. I think 44$ to guarantee a spot is ridiculous. The electric scooters are allowed to drive way too fast and they pose a danger to children who are playing and elderly people who are walking.

We’ve attended the Fall Festival since 2019 and usually love it, but this year was disappointing. Fewer activities, no hayrides or dance party, and low-quality pumpkins. The carnival was tiny, and the magic show wasn’t great. Prices keep rising while the fun declines. Also, unfair that deluxe sites are always rebooked by the same guests. We hope KOA brings back the full Fall Festival experienc

My family had an amazing time. I hadn't stayed at the KOA since I was a child and our boys had such a great time. I love all the activities for the kids. We had such a great time that we booked for next year. My father in law came to visit and he really loved the campground and also booked a spot for next year. Thank you

The stay was phenomenal. We did not know that the celebration was happening. But it was awesome, only downfall For me, was all the bird, do do all over everything? But that can be washed off. very nice visit.!!!

Always enjoy our stay from cabin to rv site. So glad we no longer have to be in line at 4-4:30 to get the site we want. Happy for making a reservation easier. My husband thanks you he can sleep in!

We had a really nice time once again at this KOA in San Diego I do have one complaint the picnic tables are very dangerous. On flat ground we tipped over and fell on the ground with all our food and drinks falling on us fortunately we only got a few bruises I talked to others at the park and they said that they had near falls themselves. Please fix this issue!

Awesome staff, the facilities are clean. My only complaint would be the cafe is very expensive I understand convenience and easy of access but it’s like Disneyland prices to buy food or beverages. But it is what it is.

We discovered this campground in 2018. We’ve booked every October since. Bobby is always so great and on top of things. The staff kept everything running smooth from the bingo, to the painting keychains, they were great. My son had a broken foot this trip and all of the staff was so helpful. We actually booked a random trip for next month.

We have come to KOA Chula Vista for 12 years in a row for the the Oktoberfest. This year our grandson's bike was stolen in front of your shop. I understand you were watching the person of interest and did nothing. This was very disappointing to all of our group that come each year. Security was not doing their job at the front gate. I would like to see you compensate him for the loss of his bike.

Unfortunately, we had a bike that was stolen, and the campground refused to compensate us in any way. They need to add additional safety patrols at night as this has been an ongoing issue at this location.

Another great Octoberfest at SD KOA. Bianca and staff at the front office are Stellar with Customer Service. Bobbi and her gang make the activities unsurpassed. Best facility overall. Rebooked for next year and all the other great holidays. Living the Dream as the Doves fly, bringing Zahri for all.

Great visit. Patio site was really enjoyable and being able to have firewood delivered was a real plus. Didn't use the Weber grill, but will next time. Staff were friendly.

You need to ban electric dirt bikes. To many kids riding reckless on them. The campground is too small for golf carts and electric dirt bikes. Little kids are going to get injured.

아이들이 놀기에 최적합한 장소인것 같다.. 토렌스에서 출발해서 가기엔 가깝고도 먼 거리... 밤10시 20분쯤 도착 했는데 직원분이 기다려 주고 친절하게 도와줘서 기분이 좋았고, 다음날부터 기분 좋게 놀기 좋은 곳으로 변한 곳..토요일은 신나는 DJ와 음악 글구 마지막 날은 가기 싫어 힘들어 한곳... 마지막으로 직원분들이 돌아다니면서 화장실, 샤워실 청소, 카트 타고 다니면서 안전 확인해주는게 👍

CROWS! Lots of crows otherwise, excellent location and lots of activities. The only complaint was the site was not cleaned prior to our check in and there were chicken bones left all over that our dogs found before we did.
