The only complaint we had was the friday we arrived, kids were racing around the campground on ebikes even after quite time and also cutting through our campsite at times so that was a bit annoying. Someone could have gotten hurt.

San Diego Metro KOA is a hidden gem. Located between downtown San Diego and Coronado, you'd never guess that you're about to enter a beautiful RV park until you drive through the entrance gate. It's extremely clean and well maintained and very kid friendly. Our granddaughter loves it there and always asks when we can take her camping again.

I loved it and enjoyed my stay my only issue is that I am disabled and was given a spot that was muddy from the sprinklers, which made it very hard for me to get in and out of my trailer. I hope next time that the person who is booking me understands that I told them that I was disabled and then I would prefer concrete over blacktop..

The campground was clean and had so many fun things to do. The Pool was amazing! Would recommend staying here.

This park is always clean and I loved the pool being heated! My only negative was a few e-bike children riding SO FAST thru the campground! I reported one And his site # and he continued. Same with the little scooted with no flag. I almost got hit walking my dogs

Awesome! Lots to do for the kiddos. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing negative I have to say is the Cafe food wasn’t good and expensive. We ended up throwing most of the food away. The pizza was very salty, fish tacos weren’t cooked all the way, the salad was torn in huge pieces by hand, wings gross. But you don’t go camping for Cafe food. It was just convenient at the mome

We grabbed 3 spots to have a big family get together and had a wonderful time. We came back the very next weekend with just our kids because we had such a great time. Thanks Chula Vista KOA

Wonderful! We had such a relaxing time. We had many things on our list to do but really didn’t care to leave. This is a clean, beautiful campground.

Definitely the best option in San Diego! It was close enough to everything and still felt safe and clean. We will be back.

Love this place!!!! Very well run--staff always great!!! Have never made a reservation a year in advance before finding this KOA. In all the yers I have been coming here, along with many friends, have never had a negative experience. Wish more campgrounds were like this one!!!!

We miss the rock wall. This year we were not given a sheet that had the events throughout the day for the kids. Still a nice KOA. Wish the staff would enforce kids wearing helmets. A kid was hit on Monday by a truck and was not wearing a helmet. But at least it was a lesson for my kids.

This year at cabins, was a big religious chanting with big speakers Saturday & Sunday from 5pm - 10 pm , it was just too much for small kids and special needs children, and all the other cabin renters there. So sad that camp aloud that ( office should have informed other cabin renters about this religious ceremonies that would be going on.) so disappointed this year with that.

Beautiful, very well maintained campground that is close to many popular San Diego attractions. The camp store has everything you need and more. Very friendly staff. Dog friendly with nice K9 yard. I would only note the noise level from helicopter flight path right above over the campground that was very active during our stay and groundskeepers do start early, but we would definitely stay again

We stayed at the San Diego Metro KOA May 11th thru May 18th and the facility was great. We opted for a patio space for our RV and It was wonderful. Lots of space, a gas fired grill, table with chairs and an shade umbrella. There was also a stone fire pit with longue chairs. Thanks again for a great stay

We had a great stay. We loved our large roomy site and grassy area. We also loved the fire pit for a camp fire. My only complaint is that the adult only hot tub was not available and the other hot tub had way too many people and children in diapers. Hopefully the hot tub will be available soon.

Minors riding electric powered bikes were allowed to ride recklessly and over the speedlimit nearly running into pedestrians. A group of minors were racing in between the RVs through the campsites, flashing lights and were very loud from 9pm to 10pm. There didn't appear to have any adult supervision. It appeared that several of the bikes and electric bike did not have lights Dangerous & Disturbing

The birds destroy the top of our motorhome, and also the kids were running rampant through our campsites.They were unsupervised. If there was no birds, the campsite would be absolutely phenomenal.The spaces are nice for us to park in, but this last week was not a real pleasant week for us

Great stay, grounds are kept very clean. So many amenities and activities. Very family oriented. Pool area was nice and the adjacent restrooms and showers were super clean. All employees were encountered were very helpful and very friendly.

All the walking paths by the river channel were locked and boarder/custom agents left all the campers alone, just watch the river channel which runs into Mexico. Absolutely, no ICE there, so its protected and no hassle for the campers. The provide gate code for after hours access work get and the food good to great in the area.

This KOA is beautiful. Each site feels cozy and special. The workers are super helpful, the pool is amazing. We’ve been coming to this campground for 25 years and watched it grow. The site is close to shopping, the beach and a bunch of other must sees while visiting San Diego.

Great stay. Helpful staff. The only complaint I have is that the handicap shower needs more water pressure. Other than that we had a great time.

It’s very clean, sites anre spacious, the staff are always around to help and there are fun activities for the kids to do. This was our 3rd time staying here and we will continue to visit.

We had a fantastic stay! The site was beautiful, well-maintained, and the staff was incredibly helpful. Everything was perfect, except for the noise control after 10 PM. It would be great if quiet hours were more strictly enforced so everyone can enjoy the peace of the outdoors.

This is an extraordinary place. There are hundreds of spots available to park your RV and vehicle and plug in for electricity and water as well as facilities for cleaning and maintaining your RV. Your choice of a small cabin, deluxe cabin, or deluxe cabin by the pool. They even have spots available where you can just pull in and pitch a tent. I really enjoyed the option to cook with the regular grill, gas grill, or the electric stoves that are available. Sinks with hot water for washing dishes. There is a laundry room is definitely a plus. The gift shop has just about everything and if you need something off-site then that's not a problem. Many stores within a 2-mile radius. Lots of activities available for adults and kids. Very pet friendly. The cabins are cozy and come with a plug-in, ceiling fan with a light, and comfortable bunk beds. I don't call it camping. I call it "glamping!" The restroom and shower facilities are top-notch and I do mean top-notch. There is plenty of space. The staff do an amazing job keeping this place clean and beautiful. I'll definitely be back I heard that it's good to book way ahead if you can. Even up to a year in advance.
