I’m a full-timer and have stayed at a dozen KOAs and countless other campgrounds over the last six months, and this was the nicest campground I’ve experienced. Friendly staff, plentiful amenities, and a festive holiday atmosphere really made it a great stay. I’d request next time a different site as the trees overhead meant lots of debris and bird droppings all over, but otherwise it was gre

Wonderful facilities - very well maintained. VERY family-friendly with activities for the kiddos. They even had train rides, with music blaring (not so pleasant for grumpy old folks)!!

We’ve stayed at hundreds of KOA’s across the country, and this was one of the nicest we’ve been to. Don’t let its location scare you, highway noise was non-existent due to the varying heights (the highway is elevated) unlike many we’ve stayed at before. Beautiful facility in a convenient locale! Zoo was 15-minutes away; SeaWorld 20.

Bathrooms & showers were upgraded & very clean. Was ample hot water! We liked grass sites. Cafe was delicious and staff was great. Primary reason for our visit was a “heated” pool. IT WAS NOT! Kids overtook hot tubs because the pool was so cold and were doing cannon balls into them. One was filthy. Very disappointed. Lots of crows and campsite was covered in bird poop. Very disappointed!

Beautiful park and very well-maintained for being in a busy metro-area. Pleasantly surprised. We will definitely come back for future visits.

Great place. Only thing I’d fix is finding a way to get rid of the huge flock of crows…every morning and night and they poop on everything.

We weren't able to spend enough time here so that we could see everything, but what we saw was great! Neatly kept grounds, roomy RV spots, staff was friendly. Reservation was easy by phone and check-in was quick. Jean at front desk was especially welcoming. The play area for kids was a popular spot! Nice gift shop and a snack shack with limited offering and hours. Felt very secure as well.

I have been staying at this KOA for over 20 years. There has not been one instant where the stay was anything less than excellent! The site was fantastic and the staff is always so helpful and friendly. The campground is always well-maintained and well-groomed. It truly is resort-like.

Love you guys, you go out of your way to make sure our stay is perfect and it was. We had so much fun and enjoyed decorating our RVs for the Christmas decorating contest. One of our group won second place! Can’t wait for next years Campout, we are coming back!

Front desk employees have great customer service skills. I wish I remmmber all the names but Ruben was one. Same with maintenance crew we had problems with lights they came right away and fix the problem. Grounds and bathrooms very clean. KOA Looked so beautiful with all the holiday decor memories my family and friends will always treasure. Great job KOA Chula VISTA, California

This our first stay and it was amazing! The staff was kind and professional and the facilities were pristine! The kids programs were wonderful, the pool and hot tub was awesome. You can tell the staff is well managed and take a great deal of pride in their work! Al was a constant presence and source of warmth and information as well as Bobbie and her staff with kids club!!Kurt was great too!!

We only got to stay one night because our son got sick, but we loved what we saw. Grounds were nice and clean, staff was extremely helpful and friendly and it was easy to book and check in. We hope to hear back soon

activities Thanksgiving weekend, several additional things previous year such as painting an elf picture, whirlybirds in the evening, making a tie dye shirt that were not offered. The line to get a balloon on Saturday night was over an hour long, please have 2 people doing balloons, been that way for 2 years in a row, disappointing for the kids. Coloring contest silly, the prize was ridiculous

We love going to KOA San Diego because our grandsons love it there. There is so much to do, we feel safe, it is very clean and the staff is friendly, courteous and very helpful. We had a great time.

Great stay again. We are local and honestly come for the activities. It's not a relaxing, peaceful campground and if not for the awesome full days of activities, we wouldn't frequent this campground. BUT, the activities are GREAT so my kids LOVE coming here! The Christmas Lighting ceremony was awesome!! We booked for next year because of it. Bobbi is great! Thank you!

I've seen this place for years and watched it grow into a great place for campers, RV'ers, and travelers of all kind. They have plenty of activity for guests. Full size cabins, or tent size cabins. Places you can hook up your trailer and RV, and storage facility too. The staff is great and the fun you have is second to none. So glad my family and I can enjoy this place.

We went to San Diego Metro KOA for the first time in October 2023. We had an amazing time with Bobbi leading the Halloween activities. The bathrooms in the common areas were always clean. We saw Alicia cleaning repeatedly and she always had a smile on her face. Thank you!!!
