Our Family had an absolute blast. The scheduling for all the kid activities was amazing. The pool was fabulous. We love the beach entrance, the grand size of it. The DJ every weekend it was all great. The spaces are large and fit our 44' rig with no problem. The staff was always helpful and kind. Highly recommended

Great property with easy access to the area. My one complaint is the number of campers whose tents, cars, etc. spilled over onto the roadways within the park. Park management would be well advised to be a little more diligent in this area. Overall, a decent RV park. Front desk staff deserve a special mention for helpfulness!

We have stayed here annually for the past few years. This might be our last time. This place needs way more enforcement of rules and a larger security/staff presence. We come to the KOA for a family atmosphere. Every time we were in the pool, there were at least 10 drunk adults with open bottles/cans of alcohol in the pool. The kids on e-bikes were racing in the campground at all hours of thenight

The stay was good. Al very helpful with handling an aggressive dog who attacked our dog. And owner who pushed my husband. We didn't want to press charges because the dog was not on leash. We will accept a free 3 day stay because of upsetting incident. Then next night EMTs were called on what looked like a mental illness incident. 3 vehicles and numerous EMTs were there to handle screaming.

We had never stayed at a KOA before. We loved it! Everything about it was fantastic! The jumping pillow, the pool, the playgrounds, the shade at our spot. It was easy to go to SeaWorld and the beach. We had adventures within the adventure! My brain has already started to plan a family reunion in the future. Easy for the locals with campers and the out of towners with lodging. Camping here again!

The first site we were in the breaker box was broken and the cap on the drain would not come off both requiring maintenance to come and repair. The next morning our motorhome was completely coovered with bird droppings, so bad it took an hour to clean the windshield just to FINALLY be moved to another site. The second site was inundated with worms dropping from the trees. Disgusting stay

It was great but there were a lot of bugs and crows. Bird poop on everything. Maybe invest in pest control? We had cockroaches on our site. It would be fun if you would do special BBQ/live music on special nights. Guest would enjoy and show up.

We had an amazing 4-day stay! We arrived late after a long drive and were warmly welcomed. The campground is clean, organized, family-friendly and felt very safe for the kids to explore and enjoy all the activities. Everything we needed was right there, the price was very fair, and the atmosphere was wonderful. We will absolutely be back!

There were a lot of birds… and we got a ton of bird poop all over our camper and cars. Same do the trees, lots of debris. Lots of bugs as well. Otherwise it was a great stay

The staff is very friendly and helpful! Al, the assistant manager, is especially amazing in making sure that all guestS are having a good time and helpful in any area that is needed. I especially appreciate that I can text a staff member with a question and even book my next visit there through texting. We love San Diego KOA.!!!!

Had problems with electrical on site 308. Technician changed 30 amp plug but problem of failure on our air conditioning system continued. we used 50 amp plug but also had the same problem. We were led t0 believe that the problem was with our RV even though it worked at sites before we stayed with you and after we stayed with you. We did check into a motel one night when temp was too hot

A big shout out to Al, the manager. We had a noisy group camped next to us and he took care of it right away. He even followed up the following couple of days. The park is well taken care of but crowded in the summer. Lots of activities and not far from downtown San Diego and the beaches.

My 12 day stay was excellent! Lots to do or not do. On busy days I recommend cleaning showers so that someone at 8pm can shower with clean floors with no trash in walkway right outside.

Stay was great except for the Crows. Hundreds of crows show up every morning at 5am making loud noises and crapped all over our stuff. I've stayed elsewhere at the campground (closer to the pool) and those areas don't seem to get hit as bad, but you still hear the crows.

I like the current text message about coming and during our stay. The last one I received was about quiet hours. My neighbors had their kids up to midnight and parents till 130-330 nights. Think security should be riding around in golf carts to enforce. Dont think I should have to call as suggested in text messages sent to me about me respecting quiet hours 10pm to 7am

Online I booked a tent trailer in a tent spot when I got to the place they said I needed to upgrade. They put me in a spot where all the birds pooped all over our campsite constantly all day spot 1931 shouldn’t be rented

Your KOA is very family friendly and your staff are wonderful. This was our 7th annual Grandparent camping trip with our Grandchildren. The last several years, we have noticed the influx of adults and young children riding electric throttle control scooters and bikes. Electric throttle bikes and scooter have no place in your campground. Please ban/don't want until someone is seriously hurt.

We’ve been vacationing at this KOA every summer for last 40+ years. Never had an issue, hence we keep coming back. We love everything about it, especially customer service, always kind and attentive to any needs we have. Asthmosphere for families is great. Highly highly recommended.

We always enjoy our stays at SD Metro KOA. This was the first time during the summer. It was nice to enjoy the San Diego weather! Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

The entire trip my trailer wasn’t getting enough power for the ac to stay on. The manager admitted there was a problem and offered to move us sites. (After we had already set up). We moved sites and still had the problem for the rest of the trip. After talking to other campers, we were not the only one with the isssue. Back at home now and ac is 100% perfect. Will never return to this campground

This is our 3rd stay here. The amount in e-bikes riding at unsafe speeds and all over the roads in the campground. They are passing the KOA golf carts like they are standing still. We could not enjoy our walks around the park! Our dog refused to walk after dark due to the reckless e-bikes and scooters riding with no lights or bells. Unfortunately we decided to cancel an upcoming reservation.

We enjoyed having more events for the grandkids. We spoke to Bobbie about the bike parade and made some suggestions and she was very kind and said she would pass on the information. Bobbie gave our granddaughter a gift craft bag which was a very nice and caring thing to do. We will be back because of the additional events and Bobbie’s excellent hospitality.

Stay was great. Only problem is that your internet connection is bad. Can’t even steam a movie. For the price you pay internet connection should be better.

Very crowded. The ebikes and scooters are out of control. They are consistently cutting you off while you're walking. They almost hit you. The mosquitos are out of control. The grounds need to be sprayed. Only one dog park location in the very back of the park is disappointing. Other KOA have multiple throughout the camp grounds

We've been coming here for years, BUT now the eScooters/eBikes go faster than the cars! Whipping by us and startling our dogs/us, day and in the pitch black, constantly! It's so sad, because we loved this K.O.A.-family friendly, activities, great pool, friendly staff...Unfortunately, the high traffic & us pedestrians having to have our heads on a swivel, will result in looking for a new campground

We had a very quiet and relaxing time it will be at the top of my list to stay, only one request can a clock be installed in the pool wall so I don’t have get out of the pool to check time, just a request thank you

The campground was well maintained, but our stay was impacted by several issues. Many wood-burning campfires filled the area with smoke, which was difficult for me due to asthma. A neighboring golf cart repeatedly used a siren that sounded like an emergency vehicle, which was disruptive. There were also far more children than we expected, making it less suitable for adults seeking a quiet stay

Overall a nice, family and dog friendly area with mature trees which helped with the shade, and grass in sites. A fairly good size for each site area. We experienced one night that we thought security would handle but did not. There was a site across the way from us that had a party and was up until after 2 a.m. (quiet time is 10 p.m.)

This is an extraordinary place. There are hundreds of spots available to park your RV and vehicle and plug in for electricity and water as well as facilities for cleaning and maintaining your RV. Your choice of a small cabin, deluxe cabin, or deluxe cabin by the pool. They even have spots available where you can just pull in and pitch a tent. I really enjoyed the option to cook with the regular grill, gas grill, or the electric stoves that are available. Sinks with hot water for washing dishes. There is a laundry room is definitely a plus. The gift shop has just about everything and if you need something off-site then that's not a problem. Many stores within a 2-mile radius. Lots of activities available for adults and kids. Very pet friendly. The cabins are cozy and come with a plug-in, ceiling fan with a light, and comfortable bunk beds. I don't call it camping. I call it "glamping!" The restroom and shower facilities are top-notch and I do mean top-notch. There is plenty of space. The staff do an amazing job keeping this place clean and beautiful. I'll definitely be back I heard that it's good to book way ahead if you can. Even up to a year in advance.
