We love this KOA! The staff, including Ramon, are wonderful. We love all the trees, but wish the birds would find another place to hang out since they poop so much! Our awnings were wiped out. So many great upgrades over the years - it would be amazing if the laundromat was upgraded to accept credit cards rather than quarters and an app to track how much time remains on each load. We'll be back:)

Really nice campground. Clean grounds, helpful staff, clean and nice bathrooms, boardroom for gatherings was perfect, all around great campground. Also we were notified via text about concerns or things to be aware of which was appreciated. Thank you.

Too many popping and noisy crows. Staff was great and very attentive to our requests. Great food stand, delicious food with large portions and very reasonable prices.

Can’t say enough about this campground. The grounds were beautiful. The activities were a plus the kindness of the people were wonderful. We had to adjust our stay and they didn’t charge us. I would highly recommend this place.

We co-hosted a rally here. Our group used the Board Room and part of the pool area twice. The KOA team was incredibly helpful and kind. Our sites were spacious, especially the end sites we used for nightly campfires and happy hours.

Beautiful park. The nicest KOA we’ve ever stayed at. The park is beautifully maintained and the facilities are super clean and fresh. We will definitely stay here again when we return to San Diego.

Clean park Site were small and very tight Surrounding neighborhood was not the best Warning each night about locking up bikes - not sure if they have a problem with theft Outsiders were using the facilities- hot tub and pool.

We've stayed twice now and will always choose the San Diego KOA when we return to California. So well maintained, everyone is so friendly, love the amenities.

The only thing the San Diego is colored wristbands. One Different colored wrist bands for adults (18+) and children. Was always having to remind kids that the “Adults Only” hot tub was for adults ONLY. One group of high school kids was very rude and said some very crude and disrespectful comments to me when I pointed out the hot tub sign that clearly states “For Adults Only”. Thank

Wonderful place to stay! I came with three dogs in our 5th wheel. I chose a larger pull through site. Security keeping watch, gated entrance during night hours. Nice to see so many families enjoying themselves.

Met the General Manager, Ramon, who runs a tight ship and maintains a virtually perfect campground. Clean, orderly, thoughtfully outfitted, and professionally staffed. Also got to meet the owner, Mr. Bell, who was generous with his time and quick with a story or two. A most enjoyable stay at KOA.

Staff is friendly. All sites were well kept as were the restrooms. The pool was the perfect temperature. All in all, we would stay here again without hesitation!

The campground is nice and well maintained and has all the amenities you need. I am a light sleeper and had trouble sleeping with the crows roosting in the trees at night. Probably could have turned on the A/C and drowned out the noise. Short drive to the beaches. In all, had a good stay!

Fabulous place has everything, it's huge,and very nice staff. The birds where a bit loud early morning, but they have a right to be there too, also very close to town. Just an all in all great place.

We had a short but sweet stay. Everyone we encountered from check in to checkout were friendly and informative . We have not stayed in a KOA campground before. It was the cleanest campground I’ve ever stayed at. Looking at all the options there are available it would be a great place for a family gathering wether camping or staying in a cabin or tiny home. Quite impressive !

Beautiful weather for a wonderful weekend stay at KOA's "Family Weekend". Fun activities throughout the day for kids, lounging by the pool, getting dinner at the cafe. Quiet and peaceful vibe throughout the camp, which is very nice. Love this place!

We had a wonderful stay with our daughter and grandkids (5 and 3) from Vermont. Great activities for the young ones including pool, playground, jumping pillow, s'mores and game night. EVERYONE on staff was helpful and friendly. We'll be back.

Excellent place for groups of families and friends. Loved the activities and Bobbi was always engaged and available. We definitely saw more riff raff than necessary and I would prefer a campground more set in nature if possible but I like what we had and how many families could come and have the accommodations of their preference. Thank you!!

There was a big fight that happened during our stay which is not the fault of the KOA but it should have been addressed earlier. We had a camping cabin and 3 other cabins next to us were involved in the fight. They were both playing music extremely loud and it really disrupted our stay. And especially because we are paying over $100 a night, we wanted to relax and unwind which we couldn't.

We camped in our travel trailer near our kids-who rented a cabin. Our son in law's parents also stayed in a cabin and a friend of ours joined us in another cabin on Saturday. We had a blast and enjoyed riding our bikes and grilling outside. We'll be back!

All the staff we had contact with were very kind and friendly. My mediocre review is based on the price/value. We booked last minute and all that was available was premium sites but they sure didn't feel premium. Maybe 1' extra space than normal sites for a significantly higher price. Even though we were in a 50amp site our 33' travel trailer and Ford F350 barely fit into the length of the spot.

I’m disappointed to have received a phone call from the front desk asking us to leave our space 8003 after we had already left the camp ground an hour earlier then expected check out time.

I would enjoy staying with you even more if the campground was secured by a gate at all times, and restrooms required a code to enter. My husband encountered a homeless man in the restroom taking a “bath” in the sink. I saw an RV drive in the gate and use the dump. It was old and filthy and looked as if it was being lived in on the street.

This is an extraordinary place. There are hundreds of spots available to park your RV and vehicle and plug in for electricity and water as well as facilities for cleaning and maintaining your RV. Your choice of a small cabin, deluxe cabin, or deluxe cabin by the pool. They even have spots available where you can just pull in and pitch a tent. I really enjoyed the option to cook with the regular grill, gas grill, or the electric stoves that are available. Sinks with hot water for washing dishes. There is a laundry room is definitely a plus. The gift shop has just about everything and if you need something off-site then that's not a problem. Many stores within a 2-mile radius. Lots of activities available for adults and kids. Very pet friendly. The cabins are cozy and come with a plug-in, ceiling fan with a light, and comfortable bunk beds. I don't call it camping. I call it "glamping!" The restroom and shower facilities are top-notch and I do mean top-notch. There is plenty of space. The staff do an amazing job keeping this place clean and beautiful. I'll definitely be back I heard that it's good to book way ahead if you can. Even up to a year in advance.
