My husband and I have been taking our kids there since they were 6 years old. The oldest is 31 and the youngest is 27. The facilities are pristine and the staff is so eager to help they make you really feel like you're staying at a luxury resort. I highly recommend this KOA.

The overall stay was amazing and the staff was very accommodating. My only complaint was regarding one gentleman that works for the koa and handled checkout for us yesterday, 1/19. Extremely rude and overbearing and even wrongly accused us of having pets in the cabin when we didn’t. His customer service really ended our wonderful stay on a bad note.

We had a great time. Madison at the kids club really stood out. She was so kind and awesome with my kids and helped make the trip memorable.

We loved it . Haven’t been there since 2012 but the site has never looked better ! The pool was huge . Our kids had a blast the spaces were clean and tons of room even for our big 44’ rig . We loved the fire pit and bbq on site. The deluxe site was top notch. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended! We’ll be there for the month of July

we love coming to this koa staff is always friendly so much to do for the kids maya tony gisele were great to my kids loved doing the uno and tie dye with them.The cafe pizza is amazing wish they had desert options . The amenities were clean well kept planning our next trip

Just had the most wonderful time. I cant tell enough about the entire experience. Everyone is friendly especially staff. Our cabin was perfect. We will be back soon!

Clean park, easy to San Diego tourist area and airport. Some bird problems near big trees but the staff quickly relocated us.

I had been to Metro KOA years ago. I remember it been a good campground but I was so surprised at how great it was this visit. There were activities all day every day for the kids and things for the adults also. The campground was clean all of the time. There were always friendly helpful staff at every turn. It rained a lot and the campground remained clean and welcoming.

Efficient check in. Escorted to our spot. Hook up was easy. Very quiet. Easy to get to. Hot tubs were nice and worm. Like the way the park is laid out.

I always love staying here. Even though the campground is in the middle of the city, it does not feel so while in the camp. I live close by and when I come to KOA I feel like I travel far into the woods. We love the cabins and the activity options for the kids. Or simply just chilling by the fire place.

Maybe it was just the off season, but the hours for things were weird. We went by the front office when it was supposed to be open and no one was there, also we couldn't find hours for the restaurant. The food at the restaurant was fine, but a bit expensive given how much we already paid to be here. Also, we left a footstool at our spot while out for the day and someone stole it...

Great stay. Only negative feedback is gas-powered golf carts with intentionally modified exhaust systems should not be allowed. There were 2 different one my first 2 days and they were very disruptive.

When checking in to San Diego KOA the front desk personnel will greet you in the best possible way and treat you like family. We stayed in a one room cabin. My kids and I had an amazing time. The San Diego KOA had a lot of amenities and activities. We sure took full advantage of them. Thank you. We will definitely be returning.

The people were very friendly and helpful. The grounds were well maintained and we saw a lot of workers milling about keeping up on things. The public spaces have been upgraded at some point, so everything had a nice "curb appeal". Nice huge shade trees. Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby.

My first KOA experience and what a pleasant surprise! From check in to all of the amenities at this location, it was top notch! Staff was amazing as well, always willing to help and answer questions! Will definitely be back!

Loved all the vegetation, oversized swimming pools and 2 spas, tons of activities, various ways to stay. All of the staff, from the front desk to the grounds personal and the staff running all the activities were super friendly and engaging. Great place to family camp, beaches and downtown are 15 minutes away. Really appreciated the security and quite hour enforcement. Note there is NO SAUNA!

We really enjoyed the spaces with the mature trees and the availability of kids activities. During our stay it rained quite a bit and our only complaint is that the walk to camp K9 was muddy and we wished it was paved or at least had gravel.

EVERYTHING at this KOA is awesome. I have only one huge request. I looks like there is a couple acres of fenced storage space for parked rv's & campers. It would be super nice if there was a long gravel trail around the perimeter of all that space to accommodate long walks with pets inside a secured area, instead of leaving the site and walking on the street. Thanks for such a nice campground!

Staff are very nice and friendly. The bathrooms and the toilets are very clean without any smell, but my small cabin was a bit smelly though it looks very clean. It is good to have a public kitchen with hot water sinks and cooking stove, makes preparing and cooking food very convenient.

We stayed for a week between Xmas and new year. Premium site, only came with terrible foul odor. The activities team are great &engaging. Housekeeping-maintenance team work relentlessly to keep everything 100%. Hot tubs were a wonderful outlet when weather did not play "nice"... 2026 New Years party was fun, even as a plan B due to the rain. We missed having a live band. WILL RETURN

Always have activities for the kids. There’s plenty to do. Employees are Very friendly and helpful. The park was well maintained and grounds were kept clean and well tended sites. There was personnel checking the campgrounds regularly. Just an overall awesome park. We come back repeatedly

We love spending Christmas at KOA. The children’s activities are the best and allows grandparents to participate with their children and grandchildren. The grounds are kept immaculate and not a leave to be found after a severe wind storm. The showers are clean and plenty of hot water. The dog parks are perfect and well kept. Many things in both the Cabin and Ecotent were broken, missing, temporarily repaired, or completely outdated. Cabin wasn’t swept before us arriving. With the continued increase in cost to stay and minimal done to improve experience we will likely end our yearly tradition at the KOA.

Stay was nice, we have stayed at the site multiple times and always have a great experience. I do wish we would have options to premier sites, staying there I was able to observe open spaces but was told no available space at time of reservation. I also always provide feedback, and not once have I heard that it was received.

Very clean up kept park, but it came at a cost as Friday they were cleaning and equipment used were very loud for 4hrs not very relaxing. Very odd location between 2 freeways. The amenities and decorations were wonderful.

We loved it. Our goal was to get our micro golden doodle to get used to road travel along with staying in a log cabin. It worked out great. Very pet friendly location. Guaranteed to return back to KOA.

Warm and helpful staff, clean and working facilities. Our family of 6 was very comfortable in our cabin for a full week! Our large extended group of friends and family rented out the Board Room for a few days as a meeting space for meals and games, highly recommended!

아이들이 놀기에 최적합한 장소인것 같다.. 토렌스에서 출발해서 가기엔 가깝고도 먼 거리... 밤10시 20분쯤 도착 했는데 직원분이 기다려 주고 친절하게 도와줘서 기분이 좋았고, 다음날부터 기분 좋게 놀기 좋은 곳으로 변한 곳..토요일은 신나는 DJ와 음악 글구 마지막 날은 가기 싫어 힘들어 한곳... 마지막으로 직원분들이 돌아다니면서 화장실, 샤워실 청소, 카트 타고 다니면서 안전 확인해주는게 👍

CROWS! Lots of crows otherwise, excellent location and lots of activities. The only complaint was the site was not cleaned prior to our check in and there were chicken bones left all over that our dogs found before we did.
