We come every year and love this particular KOA. The facility has a very nice pool area and does.an excellent job hosting activities for the kids. I would like to see some adult only activities like volleyball or crafts as well. Also, I know it's camping, and the cabin was clean. However, the outside patio was plummeted with bird feces and needed a power wash. Most of the staff was pleasant.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Grounds were kept nice and clean. Lots of activities for kids and the dj poolside was entertaining. Only thing I would suggest is more loungers by the pool and definitely more umbrellas. Only the tables had them and I feel like they need them for the loungers as well. And I know there’s not much you can do about it but the mosquitos were brutal!

Fantastic. The staff is always excellent. Very helpful . Polite . Knowledgeable. Our kids love the massive pool. We enjoy the large spaces our rig fits in them with no issues. We always enjoy our stays at the Chula Vista KOA

We had a wonderful stay. Almost all of the staff was attentive and helpful. My kids loved all of the activities put on by the kids club. Issiah (spelled with a z) was especially helpful! I had a question about the kids club. He said he was unsure but would find out! In less than 5 minutes he had an answer for me. I appreciated his help and positive attitude. We will stay again!

we had an amazing time my grandkids ran around, jumped rode bikes, swimmed just a great family 4th of july weekend. We will see you guys again for sure.

The campground has most everything for an RVer -- lots of mature trees offering shade, grass that keeps the area green and clean, amenities, full hook-ups and more. Should be great. However, spaces are close and the next space had 20 people, as did many others, with music all day!! There is very little monitoring and enforcement of rules. We listened to loud mariachi music for 14 hours a day!

The neighbor dropped all his black water it smelled so bad the manager was super un helpful and un empathetic smell never went away SUCKED

We enjoy staying and being able to meet up with other family & friends. This time we chose a corner space to be close to other family members. What we didn't expect was the constant high speed electric bike activity. I don't know how many near accidents we witnessed over the 5 days we were there. I don't understand how the bikes have free range on speed when vehicles have a max of 7mph.

Everything went good only thing I wouldn’t say is the lots are a little tight hard to get in and out when the RV park is fully booked .

We were visiting friends on Coronado during a camping trip up the coast. The KOA was perfectly located and a safe place for us to leave the cat in the trailer for extended periods of time. We appreciated being able to catch up on laundry and enjoyed the hot showers. Everything was clean and the grounds lovely. It was fun seeing everyone enjoy the 4th.

Very nice, clean, friendly, and great amenities. Family loves it been camping here for the past 33 years. Now my children are doing the same tradition with their children.

We stay here twice a year every year and we absolutely love it! We always have the best time. The staff are always courteous, friendly and helpful. This past weekend Regina was a stand out employee. She checked us in, rebooked us for next year and helped us a few times in the store. I even overheard her with a somewhat difficult customer and she was very professional. The whole staff were awesome!

Everything was great and fun as always. The one thing I would saw was disappointing was there was no 4th of July parade for the kids on their bikes or scooters. I do have to say my son looks forward to decorating his scooter and riding it around the campsite

4th of July weekend obviously is going to be a full campground. We love all the shade and stuff to do with the kiddos! They were quick to handle some unruly drunks in the tent site next to us. pool opens at 9am and I was there by 9:05 to get a couple of chairs since the kids wanted to be at the pool, and all chairs tables and loungers were already taken ��

We had a great time but we had to reach out to the office multiple times to quiet our neighbors who were extremely loud till 2 in the morning.

The patio spot was amazing! We had soo much room and enjoyed the built in fire pit and chairs. Also very convenient with the Bbq there and ready to go with propane.

Previous stay very pleasant. This visit was nothing like that, too many kids in their bikes, scooters/ electric/motorized trikes all over the park, till late into the night. Yelling was terrible and uncontrolled, parents were to busy drinking and parting to care. Two accidents, a girl bleeding fell off electric bike and a boy fell off going to fast. Hot tub over run by kids. dirty water,

The sound of birds was a bit too loud, but it was okay. The surroundings were clean, the bathrooms and showers were nice, and there was a countertop for cooking. I wanted to stay longer, but I couldn't extend it because it was all booked. It was a lot of fun. I hope to see you again next time.

Bad experience. Unacceptable. After being there in person to ensure my date and time and receiving multiple texts and emails assuring me all was taken care of, the KOA staff failed miserably. Communication from the front office relayed the conditions of my stay to the grounds crew about pulling my trailer from storage. To be done by 1pm. NOPE, I had to remind them...3 hours later it got done. SAD

Used the KOA as a basecamp for trios to beach sea world and other places. While some things were a but far , KOA provided good value.

This is an extraordinary place. There are hundreds of spots available to park your RV and vehicle and plug in for electricity and water as well as facilities for cleaning and maintaining your RV. Your choice of a small cabin, deluxe cabin, or deluxe cabin by the pool. They even have spots available where you can just pull in and pitch a tent. I really enjoyed the option to cook with the regular grill, gas grill, or the electric stoves that are available. Sinks with hot water for washing dishes. There is a laundry room is definitely a plus. The gift shop has just about everything and if you need something off-site then that's not a problem. Many stores within a 2-mile radius. Lots of activities available for adults and kids. Very pet friendly. The cabins are cozy and come with a plug-in, ceiling fan with a light, and comfortable bunk beds. I don't call it camping. I call it "glamping!" The restroom and shower facilities are top-notch and I do mean top-notch. There is plenty of space. The staff do an amazing job keeping this place clean and beautiful. I'll definitely be back I heard that it's good to book way ahead if you can. Even up to a year in advance.
