Amenities were nice and clean, but too crowded and noisy. Very noisy— people didn’t respect quiet hours or camp sites… just walked right through.

I love staying here and never had any issues but this time we had a lot of bugs falling from the trees and it was uncomfortable to sit outside.

We have been going to the San Diego KOA for 12 years. Even then, it was a magical time. It is so beautiful with all of the upgrades. I am so grateful for the amazing memories we get to create with our kids. 10 out of 10! Everyone should experience this with their families.

Super nice facility - had RV slide issues - Onsite RV tech Uriel and grandson (spending summer with gramps!!) diagnosed the issue and quickly corrected - great energy with nice gift shop - book with confidence

We're local and decided to try out KOA for an adventure. Hospitality is a 10! Inclusive, friendly, and safe. There is something for everyone!

Beautiful family KOA. Staff is respectful and helpful good problem, solvers and attentive to all campers. bathroom ones were kept very clean. My only suggestion would be to consider installing grab bars in every shower. consider pushing quiet hour to 11 PM to 7 AM.

Unfortunately it was disappointing staying 5 nights from 7/12- 7-17- 26. The campers next to us were loud everyday with music and no respect with the quiet time rules. The campground needs to in forced and be more firm with the rules and guidelines. Also the E bikes are out of control teenagers cutting through peoples camp sites driving very fast not safe at all.

Been coming here about 30 years! Gets better every time, especially the activities! Found out arts and crafts are all day through 7pm at the kids club too! Only thing I've been curious of is when the little "mosquito pond" behind the pool will be updated. Would love a little putting green! Will be back again very soon!!

Always a good time when we stay at the KOA in Chula Vista. I do have to say that the cabins were not up to standards. Maybe spend more time cleaning them. Especially for the price you pay.

Our site was not clean when we arrived. The concrete pad and picnic table were covered in bird feces, looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for some time, the concrete pad hadn’t been rinsed off, the day before we left, Al came by and apologized. The site next to us was being cleaned , he said the more expensive sites are their priority. Guess the rest don’t count!

Very clean, employees all generous. Only 1 complaint, I’ve noticed there are more and more Dogs and many are not trained - they Bark a lot. This is noticeable. I’m a dog lover I just don’t wish to camp next to a dog barking constantly.

Everything was great as always! Love the family activities and the general cleanliness, but there was a used condom and hairballs in the shower around 10am and that was kind of awful. I had to check 3 stalls before finding one that was acceptable. Besides that, we always have a great time and we will be back!

Very nice pool area, playground, and activities for kids. For $9 a bundle of wood, it would be nice to get a complimentary fire starter.

We enjoyed our stay, but knocked off a star since our fire ring still had ashes from previous occupant and our post light was flickering the whole time, but other than that we had a such great first time!! Thank you for everything!

Perfect location to take my grandchildren camping. Bathrooms were always clean. Kids loved renting the bikes. Very nice stay.

This stay was alittle unsettling When we arrived we noticed there was clothing from the last people that stayed there which made us think everything else hasn’t been cleaned properly so we ended up using our own sheets and blankets and pillows And then When we used the tvs There was an account on Disney plus with a user account named “ni**er” Which is totally unacceptable!

This used to be our favorite KOA. It no longer is; 1. It just plain looks tired and neglected; 2. Hair and stickers in the showers alert us to no proper cleaning schedules; 3. Diarrhea signs on pool doors; 4. Strange "campers" who appear to be living there; 4. Sites are not cleaned after RVs leave; 5. Electric pedestals are falling over...and on and on. We may not return and that saddens us

Great place…have been here before will come back. The only thing I would suggest is no ELECTRIC BIKES, SCOOTERS ETC. The kids on these don’t look, cutting around the end of roads especially after dusk. I think this is for their safety, people walking and drivers. Otherwise thanks for a wonderful park and fun stay!!!!

It was great! Staff was super helpful and nice. I would like to highlight Jenna for helping us with the mix up we had with our other family members sites and our booking for next year! She really went above and beyond for us. No matter how many questions I had she was able to answer them with professionalism and compassion. Thank you again and can’t wait till next year!

My kids loved the mermaid and pirate event this past weekend. I only gave a 4 out of 5 because the text message options to reach the office were not in place. Also the firewood we ordered on the second day was never delivered. We were refunded at check out so no biggie. Facilities are always well kept and a great variety of family events.We will be back next year :)

Our weekend included camping with friends. KOA was able to accomodate our request of placing us next to each other. It was great. We enjoyed the cool weather and immaculate facilities.

My family and I had a wonderful time camping at the San Diego Metro KOA! The campground was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully laid out. The sites were spacious and comfortable, offering the perfect mix of nature and convenience. What truly made the trip special was the quality time we shared as a family. Highly recommended for families looking for a fun, friendly, and nice place to camp!

This is an extraordinary place. There are hundreds of spots available to park your RV and vehicle and plug in for electricity and water as well as facilities for cleaning and maintaining your RV. Your choice of a small cabin, deluxe cabin, or deluxe cabin by the pool. They even have spots available where you can just pull in and pitch a tent. I really enjoyed the option to cook with the regular grill, gas grill, or the electric stoves that are available. Sinks with hot water for washing dishes. There is a laundry room is definitely a plus. The gift shop has just about everything and if you need something off-site then that's not a problem. Many stores within a 2-mile radius. Lots of activities available for adults and kids. Very pet friendly. The cabins are cozy and come with a plug-in, ceiling fan with a light, and comfortable bunk beds. I don't call it camping. I call it "glamping!" The restroom and shower facilities are top-notch and I do mean top-notch. There is plenty of space. The staff do an amazing job keeping this place clean and beautiful. I'll definitely be back I heard that it's good to book way ahead if you can. Even up to a year in advance.
