Had problems with electrical on site 308. Technician changed 30 amp plug but problem of failure on our air conditioning system continued. we used 50 amp plug but also had the same problem. We were led t0 believe that the problem was with our RV even though it worked at sites before we stayed with you and after we stayed with you. We did check into a motel one night when temp was too hot

My family loves KOA San Diego and returns every year! The kids' activities are amazing, and the staff is so kind and welcoming. Regina at the front office was wonderful—always smiling and helpful. The only downside was seeing a child denied an exchange for a defective gift shop item. The child expl he just bought it and had the receipt. Overall, we love it here and can't wait to come back!

A big shout out to Al, the manager. We had a noisy group camped next to us and he took care of it right away. He even followed up the following couple of days. The park is well taken care of but crowded in the summer. Lots of activities and not far from downtown San Diego and the beaches.

My 12 day stay was excellent! Lots to do or not do. On busy days I recommend cleaning showers so that someone at 8pm can shower with clean floors with no trash in walkway right outside.

Stay was great except for the Crows. Hundreds of crows show up every morning at 5am making loud noises and crapped all over our stuff. I've stayed elsewhere at the campground (closer to the pool) and those areas don't seem to get hit as bad, but you still hear the crows.

I like the current text message about coming and during our stay. The last one I received was about quiet hours. My neighbors had their kids up to midnight and parents till 130-330 nights. Think security should be riding around in golf carts to enforce. Dont think I should have to call as suggested in text messages sent to me about me respecting quiet hours 10pm to 7am

Way too many people. Overcrowded in all areas. Many more people allowed in sites than stated in website policy. People were in my spot when I arrived and were not willing to move. Pretty disappointed. No quiet hours enforced. Awake at 2 am still hearing blaring music and loud parties.

This is our second time staying here. My kids and I love it! It’s super fun. Love the camping accommodation options, the pool, organized events etc. I’ll definitely continue to return, however I will say that quite a few staff members were not very welcoming. Clearly didn’t seem to like their job. Negative interaction with staff can ruin the fun vibe. I greatly appreciate the staff that was

This is specific to tent camping. The sites are very close to each other. The main reason I wouldn't return for tent camping is the noise. The after hours noise until 1230am. We did call once and they patrolled by. Without that being enforced it makes it unbearable if you are with kids or just expect those hours to be respected by all.

Online I booked a tent trailer in a tent spot when I got to the place they said I needed to upgrade. They put me in a spot where all the birds pooped all over our campsite constantly all day spot 1931 shouldn’t be rented

Your KOA is very family friendly and your staff are wonderful. This was our 7th annual Grandparent camping trip with our Grandchildren. The last several years, we have noticed the influx of adults and young children riding electric throttle control scooters and bikes. Electric throttle bikes and scooter have no place in your campground. Please ban/don't want until someone is seriously hurt.

5 stars for the cleanliness, ease of checking in and out, loved how responsive their call line was, great for 1st time campers with the store having everything you need and free showers with a variety of places to stay. Food and drinks were surprisingly good too. Only issue we have was the text line was available the day of then randomly did not work any more.

We’ve been vacationing at this KOA every summer for last 40+ years. Never had an issue, hence we keep coming back. We love everything about it, especially customer service, always kind and attentive to any needs we have. Asthmosphere for families is great. Highly highly recommended.

We always enjoy our stays at SD Metro KOA. This was the first time during the summer. It was nice to enjoy the San Diego weather! Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

excellent. However, handicap shower stall valves were not working. Also, one shower stall light would not come on when I entered the room

We have been coming to this property for twenty years. Each stay is a pleasure. The grounds are well kept. The staff are amazing.

This place is so clean everywhere. Two complaints we have is that people kept rising scooters way past 10pm screaming and laughing. Also there was a tree in front of our cabin where craws stayed and slept. They kept pooping on our food so we were forced to eat inside. I think you should cut that tree down.

The entire trip my trailer wasn’t getting enough power for the ac to stay on. The manager admitted there was a problem and offered to move us sites. (After we had already set up). We moved sites and still had the problem for the rest of the trip. After talking to other campers, we were not the only one with the isssue. Back at home now and ac is 100% perfect. Will never return to this campground

I booked for a reunion and has certain cabins reserved My mother was supposed to stay in the cabin next to me and she got a cabin further from me I had to figure out all the arrangements and change cabins on my own. The housekeeping manager was very rude and was not willing to provide service to us without attitude they didn't make sure we had toilet paper everyday it was just not a pleasant stay

This is our 3rd stay here. The amount in e-bikes riding at unsafe speeds and all over the roads in the campground. They are passing the KOA golf carts like they are standing still. We could not enjoy our walks around the park! Our dog refused to walk after dark due to the reckless e-bikes and scooters riding with no lights or bells. Unfortunately we decided to cancel an upcoming reservation.

We enjoyed having more events for the grandkids. We spoke to Bobbie about the bike parade and made some suggestions and she was very kind and said she would pass on the information. Bobbie gave our granddaughter a gift craft bag which was a very nice and caring thing to do. We will be back because of the additional events and Bobbie’s excellent hospitality.

We loved this KOA! There are so many activities for families, everything was clean and well maintained and on top of that the staff were great! I was telling people about those KOA before I had even left! Definitely coming back

Stay was great. Only problem is that your internet connection is bad. Can’t even steam a movie. For the price you pay internet connection should be better.

Very crowded. The ebikes and scooters are out of control. They are consistently cutting you off while you're walking. They almost hit you. The mosquitos are out of control. The grounds need to be sprayed. Only one dog park location in the very back of the park is disappointing. Other KOA have multiple throughout the camp grounds

We've been coming here for years, BUT now the eScooters/eBikes go faster than the cars! Whipping by us and startling our dogs/us, day and in the pitch black, constantly! It's so sad, because we loved this K.O.A.-family friendly, activities, great pool, friendly staff...Unfortunately, the high traffic & us pedestrians having to have our heads on a swivel, will result in looking for a new campground

We had a very quiet and relaxing time it will be at the top of my list to stay, only one request can a clock be installed in the pool wall so I don’t have get out of the pool to check time, just a request thank you

The campground was well maintained, but our stay was impacted by several issues. Many wood-burning campfires filled the area with smoke, which was difficult for me due to asthma. A neighboring golf cart repeatedly used a siren that sounded like an emergency vehicle, which was disruptive. There were also far more children than we expected, making it less suitable for adults seeking a quiet stay

Overall a nice, family and dog friendly area with mature trees which helped with the shade, and grass in sites. A fairly good size for each site area. We experienced one night that we thought security would handle but did not. There was a site across the way from us that had a party and was up until after 2 a.m. (quiet time is 10 p.m.)

We had the buddy site which was so nice! Got the cabana by the pool and was not so impressed. Fridge was not cleaned and had other peoples food still in it and the freezer needed defrosted. We ended up unplugging it to defrost since we had it for 2 days. We even found a loaf of bread on the floor behind the fridge. We still love it there and can't wait to come back.

The camp site is always clean and check in fast. This year we noticed an alarming amount of mosquitoes. Upon further looking, we found a leaking water faucet outside our neighboring cabin with a bucket filled with water and mosquitoes. In the evening the pool seemed to be filled with unattended teens rough housing and jumping into the pool.

This is an extraordinary place. There are hundreds of spots available to park your RV and vehicle and plug in for electricity and water as well as facilities for cleaning and maintaining your RV. Your choice of a small cabin, deluxe cabin, or deluxe cabin by the pool. They even have spots available where you can just pull in and pitch a tent. I really enjoyed the option to cook with the regular grill, gas grill, or the electric stoves that are available. Sinks with hot water for washing dishes. There is a laundry room is definitely a plus. The gift shop has just about everything and if you need something off-site then that's not a problem. Many stores within a 2-mile radius. Lots of activities available for adults and kids. Very pet friendly. The cabins are cozy and come with a plug-in, ceiling fan with a light, and comfortable bunk beds. I don't call it camping. I call it "glamping!" The restroom and shower facilities are top-notch and I do mean top-notch. There is plenty of space. The staff do an amazing job keeping this place clean and beautiful. I'll definitely be back I heard that it's good to book way ahead if you can. Even up to a year in advance.
