Tent camping w lots of room in group site. Restrooms and showers were IMPECCABLE!!!! And all KOAs are great but this one- wow. Lots of incredible cabins, glam tents etc. Tons of RVs but somehow the place felt very chill and relaxing. Pool super active with families. Large pool, plenty of room for everyone.

Campground is nice also the pool area is nice. Unfortunately it’s located in a rough area. They remind you to pretty much every night to lock up Your bikes ,actually to put them in. Um… you don’t have room to put them in your trailer. The trailers that are stored there look pretty ugly. They have tons of loud annoying crows and they poop all over your car and trailer. It’s unfortunate

Great location in an urban area. There is a ton of stuff to do here on the KOA property and lots to see and do in the surrounding area within reasonable driving distance. The staff is friendly and accommodating. They actually have a road sweeper/vacuum that keeps the area nice and tidy.

We had such an amazing stay at the San Diego KOA! Our cabin was absolutely perfect for our family and gave us the perfect balance of camping and comfort. It was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a fun family getaway. The entire campsite was so clean and well-maintained, and there were SO many fun amenities! There was something for everyone, and our family had an absolute blast!

I booked one cabin by the poolside for 2 days. The place is so wonderful and the amenities are just incredible. Loved that you don’t have to worry about anything but to bring yourself, clothes and food. The campsite has everything you need. The campsite was beautiful, well maintained and extremely clean. Jenna and Ruben were sweetheart’s during our stay. We needed up staying 5 days inst

We stayed for three nights in August 2026 and really enjoyed our stay. The sites are well maintained, and most have good tree shade. We especially loved the pool and used it every day—it was a great way to relax and cool off. We would definitely stay here again!

Unfortunately, not being allowed to use the amenities while we waited for our cabin to be ready overshadowed our entire trip.

Very tight RV sites and beware of huge flocks of birds staining your RV in the morning. I realize staff probably can’t do anything about that but it was a big problem. Staff was great. It’s really setup for families w/kids. Wouldn’t book there again.

All staff members are always very helpful and courteous. The Tree maintenance looks awesome! The grounds looked great this summer!

We loved the pool at this location!!! The staff was super helpful and gift store had fantastic options. Loved hearing all the birds in the morning and late evenings in August!!! Gorgeous place to stay!!! Cleanest bathrooms too

Been coming here for years, fantastic staff and campground. However, the mosquito problem has gotten so much worse over the years. Not sure what they can do about it, but you either apply deet, stay in the pool, or stay in your trailer. Been to plenty of camp sites with mosquitoes, but this one was the worst I’ve ever seen.

Things I liked: Spacious site. Nice pool except it was quite crowded on Saturday. Lots of kids activities. Office staff was nice. Not liked: Hundreds of crows are loud and poop on everything, The picnic bench, my truck and RV.. They are most active in the evening and and around 5:30am. Too bad there’s not anything that can be done. I found shower #6 is in disrepair. Staff has been notified.

, but the second floor is too low and it’s not for adults. We had a lot of trouble to sleep up there this is the dulex cabin if it will be a little bit higher it will be fine

Overall, we had a really good time staying at San Diego Metro KOA. We had a nice campsite, the pool was fun, our daughter loved the activities and I loved the lawn area in the back of the campground for my dog to play catch. We were very thankful that we were able to get a spot on a last minute notice. The only thing we didn't like was all the mosquitos biting us up!

Our Group was over 100 people and we enjoyed Our stay however most commented that they feel the prices are getting extremely high. Especially for the deluxe cabin they are more pricier than a hotel for the weekend. Also It’s a concern with the check in and check out times. 4:00 check in’s, most of the day is gone and you are paying well over $300. 00 per day Then you have to be out by

Had to get our coach serviced at the last minute. Booked a deluxe cottage. Unbelievable! Why would anyone want to get a hotel? Staff and facilities are first class

The campground should implement better bird and pest control. During my stay, a dead crow was left near the camper kitchen for two days, attracting flies. Additionally, my tent and vehicle were covered in bird droppings every morning, which was excessive and frustrating to clean daily. I enjoy nature, but this was unhygienic and disruptive.

This place is fantastic. You forget that you are in the middle of the city! Clean and extremely well maintained. Staff are nothing but great.

Very nice grounds, morning birds were a surprise, some other campers played their music a little loud, some e-bike riders don't pay attention to pedestrian traffic, other than that an excellent stay.

We had a row of Obnoxious & inconsiderate campers to the east of us, we had to call several days & LATE nights for getting them in check.. After hours men were On it each time! We liked our spot. Pool was a bit chilly by Sunday brrr. My Biggest complaints are consistent there. EXPENSIVE & the dog runs have TONS of spider webs on benches-equipment. Walking dogs, LOTS of webs & dogs sniff bushes!

We love this KOA. Great service, lots of activities for the kids, and very friendly, accommodating staff. We've come every year for the last 5 years to end our summer here. The one thing we had an issue with was the amount of bird poop on our site. I know there's nothing they can do to prevent this, but there was SO MUCH bird poop. Staff did hose down our site, but it was still an unreal amount.

This was are 5th annual family camping trip and we had a great time. The whole staff were very friendly right from the front desk to the pool and acticity center. See you next year!!

)we had an amazing time on this trip. We have been here before and just love this place. I know the mosquitos are bad (not fault of the campgrounds, but we brought plenty of spray. The cabins were perfect and the ac worked great. We can't wait to come back. I would highly recommend.

Was having the most amazing day, till 8pm when a religious group completely took over the pool and started baptizing people. Will never return because of the disrespect of other religions in the pool and the fact the work allowed it to happen.

This is an extraordinary place. There are hundreds of spots available to park your RV and vehicle and plug in for electricity and water as well as facilities for cleaning and maintaining your RV. Your choice of a small cabin, deluxe cabin, or deluxe cabin by the pool. They even have spots available where you can just pull in and pitch a tent. I really enjoyed the option to cook with the regular grill, gas grill, or the electric stoves that are available. Sinks with hot water for washing dishes. There is a laundry room is definitely a plus. The gift shop has just about everything and if you need something off-site then that's not a problem. Many stores within a 2-mile radius. Lots of activities available for adults and kids. Very pet friendly. The cabins are cozy and come with a plug-in, ceiling fan with a light, and comfortable bunk beds. I don't call it camping. I call it "glamping!" The restroom and shower facilities are top-notch and I do mean top-notch. There is plenty of space. The staff do an amazing job keeping this place clean and beautiful. I'll definitely be back I heard that it's good to book way ahead if you can. Even up to a year in advance.
