We had the best time! What a beautiful campground. I can tell you all really take great pride. My only regret was I didn’t come a day sooner so we could partake in the Halloween festivities; however, I have already booked next year‘s trip and will hopefully get to enjoy the Halloween program. Thank you for a great time.

Upon arrival, the staff was friendly and professional. It rained the weekend we stayed however, the staff did a great job pivoting and they planned indoor activities to keep the kids engaged. We were still able to do most activities and we had a great time. Thank you for another wonderful weekend.

Our stay was wonderful! The staff is always kind and helpful no matter if you are in the office, the store, the kids club, the cafe or having fire wood delivered to the cabin! The weather was not the greatest (raining) but, the staff quickly notified the guests of new plans and indoor activities. The rain was not going to spoil anyone’s Fun! We loved it so much that we booked for next year!

The KOA was very dirty, trash all over our site along with other sites. Seems run down for the HIGH price we pay to stay. No longer have umbrellas with the lounge chairs and are not able to bring your own, so it limits the number of seats in the heat. This location used to be a favorite of ours and we won’t be coming back as often.

This year was a rather unusual trip being there was heavy rain in the forecast. Luckily the rain held out for the pumpkin patch, costume parade and trick or treating . The staff was well prepaired and pivoted perfectly to keep the kids busy while it was raining. Our group had an awesome time sitting in the rain with unbrellas and enjoying the fire until the rain put it out. Great memories =)

The toilet was stopped up from the time I got there. The bathroom smelled like a porta potty which permitted out into the rest of the cabin. The AC/heater would go rogue in the middle of the night and either turn it down to 62° or turn this up to 87 on here and we would wake up either boiling or freezing. The cabin was dated. The floor was peeling. There were yellow bugs in the loft on the bed

It is convenient to stay in the cabin but ridiculously expensive. Also, if I am paying that much it would be nice to have beds that are comfortable. The master bed feels like an air mattress. You just roll off the entire night, and the bunk bed beds are thin little pads. For over $400 a night I would think real beds could be provided.

We stayed 3 nights for our annual Halloween festival trip. It poured rain all weekend. KOA staff did their best to keep the kids entertained and continue with the scheduled activities as able.

I think this KOA should only be used for RV or cabin, this KOA is not set up for tent camping. We had the worst tent camping experience. Thankfully all but one on the staff were extremely helpful and provided amazing activities for my kids. I feel the people with RVs were allowed to do anything but as a first timer we did not feel welcomed. Please cx tent space 3481, it is horrible for future gues

Although it rained we had a lot of fun. There was rainy day activities for the kids and Halloween activities too. Our cabin was cozy and comfortable and located close to restrooms and showers.

We had a very relaxing stay. The staff were very friendly, very knowledgeable, very helpful. Unfortunately, we had to cut our stay a little short, but we are definitely looking forward to another time when we can come back to enjoy the campground

Had an incident at another nearby campground; I had to relocate asap and have my rv detailed because of it. You had an opening for the same site for both an overnight stay and the next day detailing. I was allowed to stay until 6pm as cleaning the inside would take longer. Loved the site and the hospitality received by the staff. Our new SD Campsite is now the SD KOA! Wonderful stay!!!

We had so much fun despite the HOT weather. The kids crew team were all amazing! Troy was extra kind and helpful! Always a great time at San Diego Metro KOA!

We have been coming for years. This year was really remarkable compared to prior years. The homeless were gone, the park was exceptionally clean. I appreciated the enforcement of no noise after 10. The halloween thing was outstanding. We are looking forward to coming back next year. Hopefully it willl be cooler,

We absolutely loved our stay at this campground! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The grounds were clean, well-maintained, and beautifully landscaped, creating a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. The campsites were spacious, level, and offered plenty of privacy. The amenities were top-notch, including spotless restrooms, reliable hookups, and great facilities

5th year going for the Fall Festival and this may have been our most fun year (even though the heat was horrible). The staff is amazing! Bianca at the front desk is patient & accommodating with our group. Bobbi and her staff are fabulous with the fun activities. We had music on at the pool the staff member asked us to lower the music but was really kind and let us keep the music playing.

This was our 5th annual Halloween stay at the KOA Metro. We enjoyed every moment. The only complaint we had was our campsite continually smelled like sewage all weekend. The odor was strong.

I wish there was more space for this review, but in short, while this KOA did build some fancy cabins around the pool and upgrade the pool/poolhouse itself, the campground overall is showing it is aging. I still wish they would build a walking path around all the rv/boat/trailer storage grounds, that would be nice for a long dog walk inside the campground.

This campground is always excellent, staff is very accommodating. We had a good time this weekend. My one feedback item, this was the first time in 9 years that we have been going where I saw roaches in the site. These were the big roaches you see everywhere but looked like the smaller house roaches. I didn’t see them until the last night we were there but there were a lot a few of them.

There was a heatwave (95-100) but the grounds could not keep up with the demand. We have a 30amp RV and we could not even run our single AC unit for more than 2-3 minutes without the breaker tripping. Both Friday and Saturday were miserable, we had to move our dog into a friends cabin due to not being able to run our AC. Mid Day Saturday we had had enough and ran our generator for 10+ hours.

This is our 6th year in a row coming to Fall Fest at KOA. We travel with over 15 families, and it is always one of our favorite weekends of the year! This year, we found our cabin didn't seem very clean. There were many spider webs on the ceilings and walls; we found trash under the bunks and under the mattress. We were also disappointed in the negative customer service from an employee at thecafe

The stay is enjoyable. It was a crazy hot weekend,so that made it worse than usual.It's getting crazy that the costs to stay are so high, using the excuse that there are so many activities, yet more and more activities require additional payment.The back bathrm hooks have been broken for a couple of years now. It would be nice if there was somewhere we could hang things while using the facilities.

1. More canopies set out during pumpkin carving, or allow for carving kits to be borrowed and used at camp sites. 2. More umbrellas or cabanas at the pool. 3. Water down backlot driveway and backlot area more often to keep dust down. Especially when there are high winds and extreme heat. 4. Build a splash pad for children.

There were way too many people there and in the pool at one time. No one followed any rules and you all allowed it. Completely dangerous behavior at the pool with that many people and the employees just looked and walked by.

We enjoyed our stay in a deluxe cabin, September 21-24. However, we live locally and our schools were on fall break, my suggestion would be to have more amenities available during this time. Our kids were bummed that there weren't any activities and the restaurant was closed every night during our stay.

Frustrated w/ e-bikes & scooters…riding on sidewalks, in the dark no lights, going fast & riding on pool deck & in parade. BAN E-Bikes! I registered for 2 adults & 3 kids. Went to pumpkin patch with 2 of my 3 kids. 1 was at his baseball game. We had 3 tickets & told 1 pumpkin per ticket. Leaving the lady stopped us for having 3 pumkins & only 2 kids I explained, she was rude finally let us go

Very friendly place to stay. The staff was very helpful. I always stay Metro KOA when in San Diego. Very pleased with everything. My wife loves the Pool.

Everything would be excellent if there weren’t so many drunk people drinking in and around the pool, and playing their personal music loudly and kids flying on e-bikes. Other than that, the facilities, workers and experience is top notch.

We enjoyed the entire campus and amenities--it was like no other campground that we have ever been too! For our kids the pool, the jumping pillows, the gem mining were all super fun. They even said, "can we move here forever?"

So much fun for the kids! The staff at check in, hosts at the events, and around the campground are always so amazing! We have been coming here for 5 years and always have a great time! I recommended Fall Festival to 2 new people today!

This is an extraordinary place. There are hundreds of spots available to park your RV and vehicle and plug in for electricity and water as well as facilities for cleaning and maintaining your RV. Your choice of a small cabin, deluxe cabin, or deluxe cabin by the pool. They even have spots available where you can just pull in and pitch a tent. I really enjoyed the option to cook with the regular grill, gas grill, or the electric stoves that are available. Sinks with hot water for washing dishes. There is a laundry room is definitely a plus. The gift shop has just about everything and if you need something off-site then that's not a problem. Many stores within a 2-mile radius. Lots of activities available for adults and kids. Very pet friendly. The cabins are cozy and come with a plug-in, ceiling fan with a light, and comfortable bunk beds. I don't call it camping. I call it "glamping!" The restroom and shower facilities are top-notch and I do mean top-notch. There is plenty of space. The staff do an amazing job keeping this place clean and beautiful. I'll definitely be back I heard that it's good to book way ahead if you can. Even up to a year in advance.
