Met the General Manager, Ramon, who runs a tight ship and maintains a virtually perfect campground. Clean, orderly, thoughtfully outfitted, and professionally staffed. Also got to meet the owner, Mr. Bell, who was generous with his time and quick with a story or two. A most enjoyable stay at KOA.

Staff is friendly. All sites were well kept as were the restrooms. The pool was the perfect temperature. All in all, we would stay here again without hesitation!

We loved our stay, but didn't like that our campground had a dried river running through it. It made it hard to set up our large tent except in the corner somewhat in the other site. I would have understood if all the other sites were going to be used while we were there, but during our stay, the other sites remained completely empty. It made me wonder why we got a terrible site if there were bett

The campground is nice and well maintained and has all the amenities you need. I am a light sleeper and had trouble sleeping with the crows roosting in the trees at night. Probably could have turned on the A/C and drowned out the noise. Short drive to the beaches. In all, had a good stay!

Fabulous place has everything, it's huge,and very nice staff. The birds where a bit loud early morning, but they have a right to be there too, also very close to town. Just an all in all great place.

We had a short but sweet stay. Everyone we encountered from check in to checkout were friendly and informative . We have not stayed in a KOA campground before. It was the cleanest campground I’ve ever stayed at. Looking at all the options there are available it would be a great place for a family gathering wether camping or staying in a cabin or tiny home. Quite impressive !

Front desk was very friendly at check-in. Before I decided to book, I had some questions that I sent via emails. I got my questions answered very quickly. I was very impressed with the service level of the staff. We live in San Diego and would definitely look for future opportunities to return! Thank you for the positive experience.

Beautiful weather for a wonderful weekend stay at KOA's "Family Weekend". Fun activities throughout the day for kids, lounging by the pool, getting dinner at the cafe. Quiet and peaceful vibe throughout the camp, which is very nice. Love this place!

We love this KOA. It’s a great atmosphere. This time the stove wouldn’t turn on in our cabin. Also had a bit of trouble keeping the water inside the shower. But will definitely visit again. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay with our daughter and grandkids (5 and 3) from Vermont. Great activities for the young ones including pool, playground, jumping pillow, s'mores and game night. EVERYONE on staff was helpful and friendly. We'll be back.

Excellent place for groups of families and friends. Loved the activities and Bobbi was always engaged and available. We definitely saw more riff raff than necessary and I would prefer a campground more set in nature if possible but I like what we had and how many families could come and have the accommodations of their preference. Thank you!!

I had a great stay. Everything was super clean, staff were pleasant, and other than the little visit from the ambulance and police on Saturday night my stay was overall peaceful.

Horrible and unsafe stay at San Diego KOA. A group of 40+ partied loudly two nights in a row, with music until 2:30am. I had to call at 1am to complain. The same group attacked my boyfriend, sent him to the hospital, lied to police, slashed 3 of my truck tires, and stole 2 electric scooters. Staff minimized it and allowed them to stay. I felt extremely unsafe as a grown woman. Would not recommend.

There was a big fight that happened during our stay which is not the fault of the KOA but it should have been addressed earlier. We had a camping cabin and 3 other cabins next to us were involved in the fight. They were both playing music extremely loud and it really disrupted our stay. And especially because we are paying over $100 a night, we wanted to relax and unwind which we couldn't.

it was right after a storm in San Diego and the entire place all the areas in the campground were extremely clean, the Pool, the Cabin, The office personnel and cleaning crew super nice and friendly a huge thanks to AL and everyone that week

We camped in our travel trailer near our kids-who rented a cabin. Our son in law's parents also stayed in a cabin and a friend of ours joined us in another cabin on Saturday. We had a blast and enjoyed riding our bikes and grilling outside. We'll be back!

Great stay overall. The hot tubs were really nice-pool temperature was tolerable for the brave kids (cold rainy week). Our cabin microwave wasn't working and it took 30-60 seconds to light each burner on the stove. Housekeeping was quick to respond for sheets/towels. Stinging nettle plants around the cabins weren't great- my kids got stung. I would have loved longer weekday office hours.

We loved our cabin, it had everything we needed and gave us room to spread out. The pool was amazing, laundry was so helpful, and the gift shop had so many things we needed or wanted at reasonable prices. The staff was very attentive to our needs. Our only complaints were the firmness of the king size bed and our smoke alarm went off whenever we cooked just from steam. Thanks for a great stay!

All the staff we had contact with were very kind and friendly. My mediocre review is based on the price/value. We booked last minute and all that was available was premium sites but they sure didn't feel premium. Maybe 1' extra space than normal sites for a significantly higher price. Even though we were in a 50amp site our 33' travel trailer and Ford F350 barely fit into the length of the spot.

I would enjoy staying with you even more if the campground was secured by a gate at all times, and restrooms required a code to enter. My husband encountered a homeless man in the restroom taking a “bath” in the sink. I saw an RV drive in the gate and use the dump. It was old and filthy and looked as if it was being lived in on the street.

We have been coming to this KOA for the past 15 years. We have always had a good stay here and started off tenting at the beginning then went to the small cabins to the Deluxe Cabins within the 5 years. The only drawback was that we had some Peeping Toms that stand at the top of the hill looking down at the campground. We noticed that when you're in the cabin they can see into our cabin. No Bueno!

This is an extraordinary place. There are hundreds of spots available to park your RV and vehicle and plug in for electricity and water as well as facilities for cleaning and maintaining your RV. Your choice of a small cabin, deluxe cabin, or deluxe cabin by the pool. They even have spots available where you can just pull in and pitch a tent. I really enjoyed the option to cook with the regular grill, gas grill, or the electric stoves that are available. Sinks with hot water for washing dishes. There is a laundry room is definitely a plus. The gift shop has just about everything and if you need something off-site then that's not a problem. Many stores within a 2-mile radius. Lots of activities available for adults and kids. Very pet friendly. The cabins are cozy and come with a plug-in, ceiling fan with a light, and comfortable bunk beds. I don't call it camping. I call it "glamping!" The restroom and shower facilities are top-notch and I do mean top-notch. There is plenty of space. The staff do an amazing job keeping this place clean and beautiful. I'll definitely be back I heard that it's good to book way ahead if you can. Even up to a year in advance.
