We had a fantastic time at KOA Chula Vista. The young people that led the gaga ball game were fun and great with the kids. The pool was warm and clean. The property was clean and seemed safe. My only complaint was the staff at the restaurant were not very friendly and seemed annoyed when I asked for forks and napkins to go with our food.

This campground was like it's own community. Huge and busy with bustle. Full of families and children of all ages. Although we are retired, we enjoyed watching all the activities. We are a 23 foot trailer. Spaces were tight. Experience will help in navigation to back up sight or request a pull through. Beautiful landscaping and extremely clean. My husband and I spent five nights there at the San Diego KOA resort. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The grounds were well kept and the activities were plenty. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to doing it again!

Great stay overall. Clean park, immaculate bathrooms, friendly staff, nice pool, dog park nearby, and the cafe had good food at reasonable prices. Loved having a fire pit at our Deluxe Site #2111. Only downside was noise from a youth group running to the bathrooms. Site was a little tight for our 32’ trailer and long-bed Ram, but manageable.

Everything is clean and in good repair. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

Pretty nice place. One slight issue, every so often, depending upon where you were at and what site you were in, you would get a sewage smell, that was the only downside but I would stay here again.

The staff was very attentive and nice. The camp site was extremely clean. All the staff were constantly busy making sure the site was comfortable and that we had everything we needed. The other visitors were also friendly. The cafe was excellent!! I’ve been coming to KOA since the early 90s and I can say that every year it gets better and better!! Can’t wait to return!

We love staying at this KOA. Our kids had lots of things to do. We felt like being in the middle of forest and not city. Enjoyed the atmosphere.

Perfect as always, everyone respects the quiet time, the pool was perfectly clean, and the site was in great condition. The only minor issue, not KOA's fault, was that campers sometimes left the showers in poor condition. On the first morning, I found a used sanitary towel in the shower, and the next day, whoever had used it before me left trash all over the floor. Shame that people are so bad.

Koa is super nice and clean. I love it here. Staff is wonderful and what I love the most is all the activities they have for the kids and family's. Bobby is super cool and she so good to the kids. She running a awesome program. We already booked out next trip for July for a week and 2 days. Can't wait. We love you KOA Chula Vista

I came here to introduce my son to tent camping and he loved it! As a single mom, I felt very safe here because I regularly saw staff patrolling. The food at the cafe was really good. The only thing they didn't have that would have been helpful is a family restroom for people who need to help a disabled loved one. If there was one, I didn't see it. Overall, a great place! We will be back!

We enjoyed with our 2 yr old. I would recommend showing that the loft was only 3 ft tall..made it a bit awkward with 4 adults that were not related. Also the picture said that there was a couch/sofa inside but we only had benches...no place to sit inside...stay was great..no issues...

It's always a pleasure to stay with you. The kids have a blast. The campground is very safe. The only thing I will suggest is to have the restrooms be cleaned more often during the day.

We had a great visit. Our family lives close by so we stayed at the KOA for our visit with them. The grounds were absolutely beautiful and well maintained. Our dogs we super happy with the dog area. We will be back. Kudos to your very pleasant staff for all the work they do.

This was my first experience staying at a KOA and it was better than expected. I didn’t know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised by the many amenities. The only negative was the lack of observing of quiet time hours Saturday night. Sunday night was wonderful. Other than the loud campers it was awesome!

We’ve stayed here so many times in the last 4 years and always have a great time. I understand the reasoning for limiting people per sites but sometimes we get a large group together and rent cabins, tents, and an RV patio spot to gather for food twice a day but that seems to break the policy. We do love staying here and always bring our granddaughter yearly to have breakfast with Santa.

The statff, grounds and amenities were outstanding. The only issues we had were the number of children on motorized scooters, motorcycles and e-bikes that were whizzing around almost hitting us. We almost were hit by one driving our car slowly to get to our spot. We did see one child in an accident. It made it difficult to walk around the area on the weekend. It would be nice to have pickleball.

This is an extraordinary place. There are hundreds of spots available to park your RV and vehicle and plug in for electricity and water as well as facilities for cleaning and maintaining your RV. Your choice of a small cabin, deluxe cabin, or deluxe cabin by the pool. They even have spots available where you can just pull in and pitch a tent. I really enjoyed the option to cook with the regular grill, gas grill, or the electric stoves that are available. Sinks with hot water for washing dishes. There is a laundry room is definitely a plus. The gift shop has just about everything and if you need something off-site then that's not a problem. Many stores within a 2-mile radius. Lots of activities available for adults and kids. Very pet friendly. The cabins are cozy and come with a plug-in, ceiling fan with a light, and comfortable bunk beds. I don't call it camping. I call it "glamping!" The restroom and shower facilities are top-notch and I do mean top-notch. There is plenty of space. The staff do an amazing job keeping this place clean and beautiful. I'll definitely be back I heard that it's good to book way ahead if you can. Even up to a year in advance.
