We had a great time, staff was friendly, helpful and all around great! We would love to see more activities for the older kids, dodgeball, basketball tournaments. Etc.

Great activities, amenities and events. Obviously, the sites feel crowded and tent sites seem expensive in comparison to other facilities. Wish that recycling was easier/emphasized. Bikes seem expensive and unfortunate that there’s not a longer rental option.

I love staying @ the cabins. It’s a wonderful experience connecting with nature and viewing the stars @ night time. The only thing is that check in is late 4:00pm. I wish I could enjoy more .

I had an emergency at home which caused me to have to rent a spot for my family of 6. A hotel didn’t seem like a good one. But KOA was the best one. Thank you

I'm a little disappointed in the activities for the week that we stayed at San Diego Metro KOA. This is the 4th year in a row that we have vacationed at this KOA. We have usually enjoyed all that it has to offer. This year there was no tie-dye activity, no rockets, no movie night, no mermaid party, no band, no bike parade. The activities that were offered at the kids club were very sedentary.

Wonderful stay! The pool, volleyball, basketball and bean throw received great us by our group of family staying in 2 other deluxe cabins. We didn’t get the cabin 214 which we wanted but after being sad about that the tides changed and we’re so happy one of our family members did! �

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this campground. The deluxe cabin was very nice and had everything we needed. The planned activities were really great and all of the staff were incredibly fun and friendly. There were so many things to do. The atmosphere of the campground was very chill and safe. We are already planning our next trip!

Wonderful property but a few suggestions for consideration: 1. Nuisance birds. Might want to look at a way to mitigate the intrusiveness and noise from the dozens and dozens of blackbirds. 2. Roaches throughout the property. Consider treating the grounds esp around sewer connects. No one wants to take those home in their RV or vehicle. 3. Waterless receptacles in restrooms need more attenti

We had extremely noisy neighbors and had to call the after hours helpline to ask for assistance. They came fast, but the party next door thru til almost 1am. Clearly they don’t check and just hope campers follow the quiet hours. Trailers/tents are extremely thin, hence the need for quiet hours. It’s inconsiderate of campers to sit right outside your trailer/tent shouting til late. I’m out.

The campground is great however the bird issue is a concern. The picnic tables are covered in bird droppings and the large flock of crows are very loud in the morning.

Staff is top quality. They go out of their way to make sure all comforts are met. The Kids Club was great andcthe director outstanding and very approachable. Something out of your but worth mentioning the men above the cabins yelling down uncomfortable especially with our 2 little grandchildren right there. Making bird noises and yelling stuff to me. I didn’t give eye contact when at my daughter

The only complaint we had was the friday we arrived, kids were racing around the campground on ebikes even after quite time and also cutting through our campsite at times so that was a bit annoying. Someone could have gotten hurt.

Facilities were clean and well maintained. Kids activities were fun and managed well. Unfortunately, we had pull through sites near the pool/tent area and witnessed a family tent camping with some severe domestic violence/disturbances. The couple, with 3 small children (often left alone) were loudly arguing through multiple nights of our stay. We filed a complaint but no action was taken from staf

San Diego Metro KOA is a hidden gem. Located between downtown San Diego and Coronado, you'd never guess that you're about to enter a beautiful RV park until you drive through the entrance gate. It's extremely clean and well maintained and very kid friendly. Our granddaughter loves it there and always asks when we can take her camping again.

I loved it and enjoyed my stay my only issue is that I am disabled and was given a spot that was muddy from the sprinklers, which made it very hard for me to get in and out of my trailer. I hope next time that the person who is booking me understands that I told them that I was disabled and then I would prefer concrete over blacktop..

Started cooking on grill and flame was not at appropriate level to cook meat. Called and had replaced but meat did not come out as it should have. Shower valve was tricky to get control water temperature and pin to change to tub was stuck.

This park is always clean and I loved the pool being heated! My only negative was a few e-bike children riding SO FAST thru the campground! I reported one And his site # and he continued. Same with the little scooted with no flag. I almost got hit walking my dogs

Awesome! Lots to do for the kiddos. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing negative I have to say is the Cafe food wasn’t good and expensive. We ended up throwing most of the food away. The pizza was very salty, fish tacos weren’t cooked all the way, the salad was torn in huge pieces by hand, wings gross. But you don’t go camping for Cafe food. It was just convenient at the mome

We grabbed 3 spots to have a big family get together and had a wonderful time. We came back the very next weekend with just our kids because we had such a great time. Thanks Chula Vista KOA

Love this place!!!! Very well run--staff always great!!! Have never made a reservation a year in advance before finding this KOA. In all the yers I have been coming here, along with many friends, have never had a negative experience. Wish more campgrounds were like this one!!!!

This is an extraordinary place. There are hundreds of spots available to park your RV and vehicle and plug in for electricity and water as well as facilities for cleaning and maintaining your RV. Your choice of a small cabin, deluxe cabin, or deluxe cabin by the pool. They even have spots available where you can just pull in and pitch a tent. I really enjoyed the option to cook with the regular grill, gas grill, or the electric stoves that are available. Sinks with hot water for washing dishes. There is a laundry room is definitely a plus. The gift shop has just about everything and if you need something off-site then that's not a problem. Many stores within a 2-mile radius. Lots of activities available for adults and kids. Very pet friendly. The cabins are cozy and come with a plug-in, ceiling fan with a light, and comfortable bunk beds. I don't call it camping. I call it "glamping!" The restroom and shower facilities are top-notch and I do mean top-notch. There is plenty of space. The staff do an amazing job keeping this place clean and beautiful. I'll definitely be back I heard that it's good to book way ahead if you can. Even up to a year in advance.
