My husband and 3 girls live around the corner from the KOA. We stayed at a deluxe cabin from Saturday - Monday morning for Fathers Day weekend. The cabin was very clean. We felt safe. The pool was clean. We spent most of our time there. The check in staff was amazing we got to check in early. Parking spots are a little tight though. Also wish there was more dumpster. And no sand in the playgrounds

The park was fabulous, all the amenities were very nice! The pool was disappointing, the facility is great but the loud music from all the Bluetooth boxes and amount of people without wristbands was awful so we didn’t want to stay there. There was all most a fight, because someone was actually swimming in the pool, the parents were mad. Not good at all.

Been there many times. This time was for NASCAR Only issue I have is the crows that destroy our vehicles.

The people were great, the only bad part were the crows in the eucalyptus trees with all the bugs and droppings on the motorhome and gear.

Great Campground. Easy to get into. Clean, Great Pool area. Friendly Staff. Nice market. Would definitely stay there again.

This was the first time we stayed at this KOA and we were very impressed. There is something for everyone in form of accommodations and activities. The park was very clean and well maintained. We've already made reservations for our next visit.

Great place except the "7 mph speed" limit apparently only applies to cars/trucks. Kids and adults were riding all sorts of electric two-wheelers all over the campground with ZERO regard for cars/trucks. Zooming all over the place. Children with no protective gear riding throughout the park and would come out of a street without looking. Didn't hit anyone bc I was going 5mph.

Fun time overall. Grandkids loved pool and jumping pillow. However, despite posted quiet times loud amplified music went well past 10pm on more than one night. There was a revolting raw sewage stench on a few days around the campground. Staff was very good, both in office and store. This was our third time here.

Way to many kids running around unsupervised also e-bikes were out of control flying down driveways at max speeds one kid lost control and slammed into our toy hauler I think this place needs to get a better handle on these kids unsupervised.

We are so happy to have found KOA campground! Every time we stay, we feel safe, and that's my main concern. Everything is very clean and the workers are very respectful. We enjoy your poolside and the entertainment you offer for kids and families. I feel rejuvenate when I leave. We are from San Diego CA and I would highly recommend you. Thank you again.

Our stay was great with the exception of noise during "quiet" hours. This was the second time visiting SD KOA that quiet hours were not adhered to. Late night loud music and karaoke lasting way past 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. this will be taken into consideration if we return to SD KOA.

This place was awesome!! For as large as it is, the grounds were well kept, the staff was friendly and visible throughout the day, and the amenities offered make this a great place to stay!!!

We had a great time. The site was very clean and a nice size for my trailer. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I just wish there was more bathrooms around the campsite. The activities were fun like the arts and crafts, Lego contest, and the family scavenger hunt. The pool was nicely set up and clean. My family had a great time.

I love the activities like the mermaid and pirate, and the amenities catered for the kids. My daughter enjoyed all of it!

Always a good time staying here. Great staff and nice facilities. Tony from recreations and activities even played in the pool with my grandson TJ even though he was off duty. He always make him feel special .

It's usually a 5 star experience when we stay at this KOA- but not this time. The campsite 1202 had a tree that dropped these small black 1/4" size pollen like things over the whole campsite...car trailer picnic table. I reported this and was told I should expect this because we are outdoors. My trailer roof is permanently stained. This has never happened before in the 28 yes of owning the trailor

First time staying in a cabin and I loved it. I always stay in the tent sites, my absolute favorite site is #3456 but we wanted to try something new and it was a great experience!

We love the patio sites and all of the shade trees, however, we really dont like the crows that come every night and in the morning. they are dirty and make sooooo much noise. Our patio site when checked in still had crow droppings on the patio and chairs.

We had a very relaxing, enjoyable stay here for 3 nights. The grounds are very well maintained, except for the crows but that's just nature, very beautiful.The nights were very quiet for sleeping. The day time hours were full of busy little children having fun riding bikes. The pool was always packed but everyone still had a great time. Gorgeous weather!We will save this spot for future getaways.

Repeat visitor & will be back. Love the cabins! Would be nice if a staff member checked the pool area to monitor for excessively loud and vulgar music coming from cabanas & individuals. Had multiple issues at Cafe with simple orders not being correct even after multiple explanations. Appreciate staff who were quick to replace something that was stolen from our site in the night.

Our favorite campground! I love everything about this campground. I do wish they did the tie dye buckets instead of bottles but overall a great trip with tons of activities for the kids that feels more like a summer camp for them.

KOA is a wonderful campground in Chula Vista. As a native it feels I’m not in my own neighborhood. The amenities here are great and the kids love it here. We try and come at least once a year hopefully we can experience all camping options in the years to come.

The amenities and scheduled activities for the kids is what brings us back year over year. It is well worth the 6.5 hour drive!

This is an extraordinary place. There are hundreds of spots available to park your RV and vehicle and plug in for electricity and water as well as facilities for cleaning and maintaining your RV. Your choice of a small cabin, deluxe cabin, or deluxe cabin by the pool. They even have spots available where you can just pull in and pitch a tent. I really enjoyed the option to cook with the regular grill, gas grill, or the electric stoves that are available. Sinks with hot water for washing dishes. There is a laundry room is definitely a plus. The gift shop has just about everything and if you need something off-site then that's not a problem. Many stores within a 2-mile radius. Lots of activities available for adults and kids. Very pet friendly. The cabins are cozy and come with a plug-in, ceiling fan with a light, and comfortable bunk beds. I don't call it camping. I call it "glamping!" The restroom and shower facilities are top-notch and I do mean top-notch. There is plenty of space. The staff do an amazing job keeping this place clean and beautiful. I'll definitely be back I heard that it's good to book way ahead if you can. Even up to a year in advance.
