We love coming to the this KOA. Even though it is only a few miles away from our home its still a favorite little staycation. There are always lots of activities for the kids to do and time for the adults to relax. I feel my children are safe at all times when they want to go riding their scooters and bikes. We love going to the field to play some ball and taking the dogs to the dog park too!

This was our first time staying for Halloween. Our kids ages, 16, 14 and 11 all had a great time.

I love this KOA I go there all the time several times a year the last few times my site was dirty, not swept charcoal piles on the concrete… I feel if I pay for the spot the least it could be swept

We loved everything except the sit we had #2005 was very small. we could not extend our awning out due to a tree in the way. There were two other spots that backed right into our campsite area. For the money it was not enough room.

Our stay was pleasant. Staff are kind and helpful. Beautiful grounds. Great activities. Bathrooms and kitchen exceptionally well maintained. So family friendly. My only suggestion would be to add a mat pilates class or cardio class on the weekends just to really put it over the top!. I'm a local and have enjoyed the San Diego Metro KOA SINCE CHILDHOOD.. the fall fest was really great.

The park was very quiet and not many guests. We were placed right opposite another guest with an rv & they partied all night. I called Koa office at 2am and told the night manager to shut it down. There should be at least one security guard patrolling at night taking care of potential issues like this. If the park is empty, please allocate spots further away from other campers

My only issue was that there were too many youth in e-bikes. I saw on your website that no e-bikes are allowed at night however I saw nobody enforcing this. There were youth riding around at high speeds with no regard for the truck or treaters. Something really needs to be done about this safety issue before people get seriously injured.

Beautiful pool, great staff, friendly, many activities for kids, love the food at cafe and clean campsites. Loved our stay.

Overall, we had a blast and loved the experience. We loved all of the options for the kids to get involved and have fun. The only disappointing part of the trip was the bathrooms were not kept clean. There was a bad smell like sewer that came from the bathrooms in the afternoons and evenings.

Benn coming here several years and always love the campsite. Unfortunately, this time there were too many e-bikes. I see a lot of kids riding those pretty fast without helmets, if motorized vehicles are supposed to abide by the MPH rules, so should these bikes.

I have been coming for the last 9 years and it’s something my family and I always look forward to. We have a wonderful time. A few call outs: Women’s bathroom needs to be cleaned more often and perhaps sprayed with a perfume every often. Also, the Halloween costume contest is too long and the lady that hosts it needs to be changed. This particular event needs to be revamped.

The bathroom smelled so bad. Stayed Thursday- Sunday and the only day it smelled better was Sunday after 8am. I didn’t even want to go to the bathroom because it smelled so bad. Like urine or feminine old pads. I’ve been going there for 6 years and it’s never smelled. So disappointed.

We reserved a family tent site for the first time. It was so convenient for our family to be close to the festivities in the Backyard and the kids could walk to the jumping pillow.

This was our fifth and final stay at this facility. Over the previous five visits we have seen the prices go up and the service dramatically drop. Our children were treated poorly, due to the fact that they LOOK different than many of the other children. Nearly $400 a night to be treated like second-class citizens. Our families have been coming here for 15 years, but not a cent more to this place.

The star always go above and beyond. The ground are always clean and accessible. The staff offer so many opportunities for fun for the kids and adults! We’ve been coming here for 10 years!

The only thing I would change is the $50/night stay increase for next years event and making us pay the entire $390/2 nights up front to hold a spot for next year. Maybe just take a deposit especially since you raised your prices this makes it hard on families to continue the memories.

It is part of our kids childhood memories to come to KOA for Halloween celebration. We have doing this for years and we love it and look forward to it every year.

We come back for Fall Fest, other holiday weekends and just in general because of Bobbie and her staff with the Kids Club. She has done amazing with the events for the kiddos. I did see she pulled a long day on Saturday being there from early am to run the carnival and pumpkin carving all the way to the parade and costume contest. We love Bobbie and the sangria!!

The only problem I had with our stay is they have too many young kids on e-bikes not being supervised my young kids and myself were nearly hit several times walking,That’s a safety issue! Also our internet did not work at all during our entire stay. Other than that our trip was great loved all the activities for kids.

Our stay was great, as always! The adult spa was useable but the surrounding deck was in a little disrepair. We always have a great time at this KOA!

We enjoyed our stay at the San Diego Metro KOA. The staff was extremely helpful and polite when we checked in and helped with our reservation for next year. The campus is clean and well maintained. The activities are fun for kids. the bathrooms and showers are maintained clean. We have attended this KOA for the past 20 years with our families and plan to continue to do so.

There were so many fun and engaging fall-themed activities during our stay! We had a blast and love coming there every year in October. Booby does an amazing job at organizing and running everything so smoothly! One thing that we were not impressed with this year was the food at the restaurant. Pepperoni pizza tasted like cardboard. Chicken tenders had a weird taste to them. Hoping for an improv

Friendly and easy check in and check out. Just love the Halloween decorations all around. My only suggestion is to hand out neon glow in dark wrists bands to the kids, even a charge of 1.00 each to keep them seen. The darkness is scary and they kids are running around alone and will cross in front of cars even when the see a car coming. Reflection a must!

We love the Halloween weekend events. We especially loved the Family kickball game. I love getting the families together and playing. It was very sweet the way the pitcher (I think owner) was engaging with all the people including the littles. We love the pumpkin patch and the tie dye. The park is kept clean and all staff encountered were kind and caring.

First, San Diego Metro is the family‘s favorite campsite. Second, had a lot of campers walking through campsites and parking vehicles and open slots until camper showed up! Third. A few of the roadways you could even walk through because so many people blocked off this section as a personal driveway or walkway. Final. We will be back something for you guys to think about. The only problem is in the pool area. People put your items on it. the chairs and come back to our later. If you change the policy on that all day, don’t give anybody else.

Amazing place and amazing people. Over the top with decor for Halloween�. Everyday was filled with activities for the family. This is our 3rd time at this KOA and it was the BEST!

We had an absolutely wonderful weekend at Chula Vista KOA! Our family enjoyed every moment together, from playing and laughing to reading, relaxing, and making beautiful memories. The sense of community was incredible, and we felt so welcomed! We are beyond grateful for these special family moments. Thank you, KOA, for an amazing experience! We can't wait to return! �ϋ����

Extremely loud at the tent sites, pulled in during the night time and couldn’t tell just how close you are to the highway here. Literally sounded like a homeless person sleeping under a bridge. Instead I paid $90 for a pile of wood chips and a parking spot.

This is an extraordinary place. There are hundreds of spots available to park your RV and vehicle and plug in for electricity and water as well as facilities for cleaning and maintaining your RV. Your choice of a small cabin, deluxe cabin, or deluxe cabin by the pool. They even have spots available where you can just pull in and pitch a tent. I really enjoyed the option to cook with the regular grill, gas grill, or the electric stoves that are available. Sinks with hot water for washing dishes. There is a laundry room is definitely a plus. The gift shop has just about everything and if you need something off-site then that's not a problem. Many stores within a 2-mile radius. Lots of activities available for adults and kids. Very pet friendly. The cabins are cozy and come with a plug-in, ceiling fan with a light, and comfortable bunk beds. I don't call it camping. I call it "glamping!" The restroom and shower facilities are top-notch and I do mean top-notch. There is plenty of space. The staff do an amazing job keeping this place clean and beautiful. I'll definitely be back I heard that it's good to book way ahead if you can. Even up to a year in advance.
