Very poor housekeeping and maintenance of Delux 2 Bedroom cabin. Such a shame; cabin itself is nice & activities & amenities are above average. Attendants at camp store have a bad attitude.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Housekeeping supervisor was out sick for a 2-week period in Aug-Sep, when she returned our cabins were back to standards. Our staff in the camp store are always professional and courteous to guests.

I really enjoyed my stay here there is plenty of activities for kids the staff was very helpful . Tubing on the river was very relaxing the pool was nice . I would stay there again .

Found a worm in my sons bedding when we made his bed, and my kids were looking forward to the slide and ropes course, due to staffing those were not being operated during the week, which is something that should be notated on the site of that resort that certain amenities may not be operational due to staffing, we would have booked on different days if we were aware.

The incident where the worm was not reported to the front office. We have a posted schedule for the operational hours of the ropes course. waterslide is in operation 7 days per week.

This KOA was very clean and there was so much for everyone in the family to do. We rented an Rv and it was stocked. I paid in full when I booked, a certain site, because of camping with other families who had sites around us. When we got there they had rented it out to someone else. They also told me I owed balance, which I didnt, they actually owed me $60. Staff was rude, staff was the worst part

The cabin was new and beautiful and we enjoyed it. BUT the amenities promised (reason for going) were not available and that was very disappointing especially since we paid a resort free for them. No one showed up for the activity for kids. They need to take off resort fee if there are staff shortages and let people know ahead of booking that things may not be available. Has so much potential…

This is the 2nd year we’ve stayed at your campground. The deluxe cabins were beautiful, but I was disappointed in the responsiveness of staff. For example, our refrigerator wasn’t working and no one returned our call to come fix it. The Halloween trick or treating was SO disorganized this year. Much better last year. The staff was clueless about the plan. The hay ride was a huge plus !!

I rented an RV and it was so nasty. I went to the front desk the day after when I checked in and told the lady that I had water issues with the kitchen faucet leaking in back of the sink onto the floor, mold growing on the side of the wall under the sink.She said she’d pass it along with maintenance and I never heard back from anyone. Also other issues……

Thought the campground was great and had lots of activities for kids of all age �� �� �� �� I'd have liked more food options in the store... Camping food staples to buy as well as short order cooked items instead of just pizza. �� �� The bathrooms I give one star ��, they were pretty dirty eeekkk. Dirty Floors, paper scraps everywhere, dirty toilets �Ͻ. Definitely needs WAAAA

I spent 3 nights in one of your cabins near the pond. I loved the place, and the amenities and as always the river was the highlight! I will mention that we found a lot of trash from the previous guests under the beds, as well as socks tucked into the top bunk from the previous guests.

We enjoyed out stay very much. Nice surprise many items like linens, pots,pans etc were included in the cabin rental.

This was my second year there for the same weekend (Halloween) and this year was horrible. The trick or treating was completely unorganized. It was never told to me that it was a trunk or treat event. Nothing was set up at the field and it left the kids waiting around. No one in the front desk knew much of anything except what the paper said and it was never communicated to us the guest.

We stayed in a cabin. We were there Halloween week. My 3 adult kids came with their kids. Some came as our guest, one had a tent site. The Halloween parade and trick or treating was so much fun! We loved this theme and we have booked a week in July for next year ! We have returned every summer for several years!

Our safari tent smelt of pot when we arrived. The front desk gave us air freshener spray to correct the issue instead of another site. The workers at the waterslide were on their cell phones instead of being concerned about the safety of people. 3 kids went down the slide at the same time and toppled onto each other. Lost money at the arcade and wouldn't be reimbursed. That's just the start.

Stayed in a safari tent and it was awesome ! Only complaint is the sites are so close together there's really no privacy. my sister had the safari tent next to us& there was another safari tent next to her and they were using her site as parking because they said they didn't have anywhere to park or a fire ring. Atleast we were right next door so she just stayed hanging out on our site.

AMAZING vacation as always. So much for the kids to do. Very friendly staff. A shoutout to the young man that was running the ropes course. Very friendly and accommodating. He made sure everyone was safe and had fun. We will definitely be back.

Asked for someone to fixed TV no one ever came. Asked for new linens no one ever came to bring new linens. Pool had TONS of dead bugs.

We had a great time. There was lots of things to do. I would have rated my stay five stars but I felt the restrooms could have been cleaner. We stayed in a cabin by the fish pond it was very clean and a great way to stay. I would have likely booked the same for next year when I checked the prices for August 2023 the price per night had gone up 50.00. Thank you jeanne frates

RV was not clean when arrived. No one offered to help after we arrived. They lost the key and gave us a spare 3 hours later. Septic was not pumped and the whole RV spelled constantly. We were supplied with a bottle of green spray to kill the smell. 2 screens in the RV had huge holes my husband and daughter were bitten over 30 times. Overall our stay exceeded our expectations, however there were some major problems. (1) when we 1st arrived we were given a key and placed in a cabin that hadn't been cleaned and had no new sheets (we checked in at 4pm). (2) the arcade had multiple broken machines, terrible prizes, and mostly no one operating it, (3) the firewood delivery was not available despite being charged a resort fee for it

The campground is wonderful! The only bad part is how rude the welcome center staff were. Every single interaction myself, my husband, or my children had with the welcome center was terrible! The staff either totally ignored the fact that we were there or were so rude that no one wanted to go in for anything! I would give a perfect score but the staff was so rude we might never go back.

Wasn’t impressed with the state of the RV we rented, wasn’t very clean and had some broken things inside. There was barely a mattress in the bunks, it was like sleeping on a board. Was blocked into a site before we checked in and it was moved and we weren’t in the section we wanted.

We had a great long weekend and wished we were able to stay longer to enjoy more of the activities. The camping cabin was pretty plain, and we wished we had had a table and chairs in the cabin for rainy days. Overall, the beds were comfortable, the campground was clean, and the staff was helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back next year.

The RV we rented wasn’t very clean when we got there and they had left the ceiling vent open in the bathroom and it was pouring when we got There day one so there was a ton of dirty water all over the toilet seat and tub and the sheets handing been clean. The campground was very well run and very clean love the attractions, but as a reunion of 15 sites, we were unfortunately too spread apart due to corporate moving our original sites that were booked and the golf carts were very pricey

Disappointed with the RV I was given. Terrible odor. Maintenance tried to but couldn't get rid of. Cut my vacation short as all that was available was a Safari tent that was not suitable for me at my age. Jamie and Pam were great. Some money's were refunded. I appreciated it. My family and I love coming to the camp. The attendants at the ropes were awesome with the participants. Extremely helpful

The cabin was very clean and we enjoyed our stay near the fishing pond. It was nice to have a full refrigerator, freezer and ac. We didn't need to worry about getting ice to keep things cold. It was enjoyable to be able to cruise the campground and enjoy the pools, waterslide and minigolf. Definitely will plan on staying again. Staff was welcoming and friendly.

We had an amazing stay, the staff was super accommodating and nice. My parents and I used to go to KOA’s for vacations my entire childhood and now I have started that tradition with my husband and son. I can’t wait to come back next summer!

The campground has a lot of fun amenities. The staff is trying really hard to maintain everything, it is obvious that staffing is low right now. We enjoyed our stay, we did see several guests being quite rude to the staff which was sad to see. Pam and Cheryl at registration were very nice. Thanks

This was our 4th year staying at the campground and it was by far our least favorite stay. We always rent an RV (for various reasons) and have never had any issues and if we did it was handled quickly. Overall it is a great place for families and has many things to offer while you stay. This time we encountered for the first time a lack of cleanliness in bathhouse and RV and lack of staff help.

Not very clean! Our cabin was sandy and dirty. The area of the campground is dirty and they do not enforce the rules in the pool area and the staff in the pool area really don’t care what goes on. Very unsafe.

Better than expected! The deluxe cabin was fantastic as well as both pools! The staff was working hard behind the desks and did the best they could with the demands of the customers! My 3 and 6 yr old niece loved the place. Wish I had known about renting a golf cart beforehand because they were all reserved but our location was in walking distance to everything. Great vacation!

Staff was good. Wish the pool and hot tub was open till 9. Also wish they had adult hour for the pool and hot tub as well. Waterside was Barely open. Beds were hard as a rock in the rental trailers. Very clean facility and staff was friendly

This place is beyond perfect. Visited this campsite for a solo get away, stayed in one of the deluxe cabins. Everything from the employees to the rooms, the trails, the pools, etc, was great. This campsite is huge and there is so much to do! The general Manager Steve was Fantastic. Being a solo female traveler, Steve made sure I was well taken care of to ensure my safety. They met all of my needs, I will 100% be recommending this campsite to friends and family. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you so much!

We rented a trailer from them at one of their site. Trailer was very clean and well maintained. Bathroom was very small but that's expected from this small trailer. The kitchen was good with almost everything you need for the stay. The full bed was spacious for two. They also have two bunker beds good enough for 2 kids. The platform outside was very good, the awning was very useful when it rained during our stay.
