I cannot wait to come back again! This was one of the nicest KOA campgrounds we have stayed in! Specifically, we were so impressed by the options to have a site with patios, dog pens, and/or shade from trees or shade sail. Thank you so much!

We had a great time here. Very friendly staff and the campground is very well maintained. The area is beautiful and there's so much to do. Highly recommend!

The worst part of the stay was a large group that was flying down the roads with kids present, partying at 1:30 AM, and trashed the bathroom. That morning half the toilets didn’t work. KOA did little to address the group or issues. Lots of activities, but we stayed late for the slide that never opened up. Madison was absolutely awesome and super helpful. Lilly was great as well with the kids.

The royal George KOA was a bit of a mixed bag for us, the price is steep, but the price is justified by the events that are set up for the kids. However many time during our 4 day stay the schedule put out was not adhered to by staff therefore leading to upset kids. The worst was people that were allowed to stay at group site made campground unsafe by speeding, loud and destroyed the bathrooms!

We really enjoyed our time there, The Kampground was very clean and the staff were nice and welcoming. The only things that we disliked was that we were not given any information at check in about campground events, locations of activities, or WiFi and local cable or TV availability. And we had some immediate neighbors that were quite loud long after hours and before morning time.

The grounds were very well kept. Clyde did an excellent job ! Petunias on our pergola I watered every day, lovely addition! WiFi was very bad , I complained everyday and was told the booster was right there . Eventually Clyde looked at it and it was broken, needed rewire . Did not get done before we left, so that was disappointing. NASCAR racing is important, to us anyway lol

We stay here every year to check out our travel trailer before we start camping for the summer, and sometimes we just stay here to let the grandkids come stay with us, it’s a nice,clean well maintained KOA .

Campground was clean especially the restrooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stay here often because it is very convenient to the river and we boat the Arkansas especially the Gorge a lot.

Early in the season and very few other campers. We were put right along the high volume creek running through the property. We had a fire both nights and burning marshmallows right along the creek. Lots of trees and very quiet other than a few campers coming in late at night. Very convenient to Ouray! We plan to be back.

This KOA never disappoints! Vanessa was very professional and worked with us for an early checkin as we were bringing a close friend’s wedding decorations to town in our toy hauler. This allowed us to make the delivery on time and the wedding was great! Thank you so much!

The RV campsites were in excellent shape and well maintained. We loved having the private dog yard at our site. There were gorgeous views of the mountains. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. The only thing keeping me from giving it five stars is that the bathrooms were in desperate need of maintenance and cleaning. They were very dirty, and didn't get cleaned during our stay.

This campground is beautiful. Very well maintained and lots of extra touches. The location is fabulous for Royal Gorge and Canon City. It was quiet, safe and relaxing. Lots of birds and deer in the fields next to the KOA. The staff was very pleasant and welcoming.

Campground was fine and fit our needs for the weekend, however nothing online about no one being there...Store was closed and never saw an employee. There was a number for "Emergency Only". I tried the email address to communicate (since it wasn't an emergency but I had a question) and did not get a response. Should be a better way for non-emergency communications.

The campground was nice and neat. Good location. The mini golf needs some work. The greens need some cleanup and the clubs and balls need to be replaced.

We were disappointed that we came here for spring break, but everything at the campsite was still closed for the winter. It would’ve been nice if that would’ve been specified because we probably would have looked elsewhere.

No one made us aware that the entire property was essentially abandoned and that none of the amenities would be available which was the sole reason why we book that location for our kids even though it was completely out of our way. After bringing this up to the manager of the location, they would not assist in any way and texted me " if you wanted anything, you could of text us "

Great location to enjoy Royal Gorge and Canon City! Love the stone in the landscaping!! Great views! Bathroom and showers clean and sufficient. Sites were just fine!

You guys have really fixed the place up, looks really nice. We stayed in the A section so we could get in and out easier, our rig is 45ft long and some of your sites are a little difficult to get into.

It's proximaty to Royal Gorge is excellent. The downside is, the campground needs some work/facelift. It is not the typical KOA I'd expect.

Very tight sites. There was absolutely NO sign of an employee checking ANYTHING. The activity areas were rundown. The signage for entrance & office was very difficult to see from the road.

You cant go wrong with a KOA and this one was no exception. Lots of trees, beautiful views and plenty of room at each site. We had no issues with a 43' class A.
