Royal Gorge / Canon City KOA Holiday General Information

Our store hours vary seasonally as camp shifts from summer to winter each year.  Please see posted store hours outside our office for the most up-to-date information.

Our store hours vary seasonally and will be posted by the front door to our camp office. Our check-in time is 11:00am daily and check-out time is 2:00pm.  Early check-in may be available upon request with an early check in fee of $10.  Late check-out may be available upon request with a fee of $10.  We sell bundles of firewood in our general store which may be burned in firerings (provided) as long as current restrictions allow it.  Our pool is open seasonally, typically from Memorial Weekend to Labor Day weekend.  Daily hours for the pool mirror that of the front office. Visitors are allowed, please have your guest check in with the front desk.  For a $5 fee your guest can enjoy all the same amenities that our campers enjoy!  Quiet hours are 10:00pm to 6:00am.  During these times we ask that you maintain a respectable volume at your campsite. We have a shower house as well as family friendly bathrooms.

You don't have to go far to find adventure!  Our friends at Journey Quest have an office right here at our camp that you can visit to book your own rafting trip!

Our goal is to serve your family with hospitality and fun!  We offer a range of family friendly activities during the summer and access to beautiful hiking and biking trails year round.  We are just a short drive away from the Royal Gorge Bridge and Park.  Looking for some ancient artifacts? Visit the Dinosaur Experience just up the road! White water rafting is a great way to spend the day and come back to a relaxing campfire.  Journey Quest rafting is located right on our property and can get you and your family out for adventure! Come to stay and play with us year round!

Our pool is open seasonally from Memorial Day until Labor Day.  Daily hours are matching our store hours.

We offer Firewood for sale in our general store.  Our local fire district will advise of any current fire bans and if there is a fire ban in place we will notify our guests.  For the most part we are exempt from most fire bans because we are in a highly landscaped terrain with designated fire pits and local water sources.

Our check-in time is 2:00 pm daily.  The check-out time is 11:00 am.  It is possible to get extensions on a case-by-case evaluation - subject to site availability and staffing.  Please contact the front desk for any extensions.
