I loved this park. It’s well kept, they have some great spots with tables and chairs and chairs around the fire pit, nice patios. My favorite was the dog enclosures at many of the sites.

Facility was pretty worn out. Playground for the kids needs updateded bad. Spots were clean. Bathrooms and showers clean. Staff was very friendly and polite. Not a bad place just could use some updating and repairs.

Beautiful!!! Stunning views, clean facilities, and well maintained grounds. The added dog yards were a great addition for our week. This KOA is close to Royal Gorge and a short drive to shopping and dining in Canon City. We had a wonderful time hiking and exploring dinosaur fossils! Can't wait to go back!

Very clean! The cleanest bathrooms we have seen at a campground. Desk personnel was very friendly.

We arrived after hours. The office person I talked to said a map would be waiting for us and that the area had good lighting. The map was waiting. The area had ok lighting but the roads are really hard to differentiate from just camp sites, especially since we had never been there before. It would be great if you could better mark the roads or have signs pointing the direction of the sites.

Was a long-term guest (about 2 months). Park is quiet. Off season activities are limited but the staff do plan some activities. Close to towns and tourist activities. Staff are courteous, friendly and helpful. I have stayed there before and will return in the future. Only issue I had was the rock walls (boulders). While they look good, I have never cared for them.

Staff very friendly and helpful. This is my 3rd visit to the park. I would like to see the sites leveled... my 44' RV whined when It leveled itself.

Well the campground itself was nice however, the water ran out in the campground and they closed all the restrooms and there was literally no where to go…. They also did not offer to recompense the stay so that really did me in for staying here again. I will be staying at the Royal Gorge RV resort from now on when I come to Canon.

Nice campsites, great view! Trying to understand why the campground lost all water pressure around 9 pm on Sat. Oct. 22? Tried texting, but received an automated message that texts are only 10-4 pm during the day!

Wonderful site. Very quiet. Had a medical emergency the morning of checkout. The staff were very understanding. Thank you for that and would definitely stay again.

Great stay! Two issues I would like to leave comment on, why the water to the campground was shut off on Saturday night with out warning and the lack of patrol with fires in the campground, it was very windy and campers still had fires that were left unattended at times. Could have been disastrous!

There seemed to be not enough staff. The office was never open. I assume that was because they were out in property helping other customers. We were never able to get mini golf clubs, the slide was never open. We were expecting to have access some some of the amenities-but did not. Bathrooms were clean.

Aiden seemed annoyed with something right from the beginning, not very welcoming. There were the spikey “stickers” all over the park, couldn’t take the dogs anywhere without getting them stuck in their paws, and the spot that had these the most was the kids playground! Second time we've stayed here. Nice campground. Beautiful mountain views. However wasn't appreciative of hidden "resort fee" which was not advertised in online reservation system. All the amenities above standard were shut down for season.

We got met by an unhappy young guy that put a damper on our stay. The site that he put us in was short so every time I had to park my truck it was a challenge to get it off the road. Won't be staying there again.

Love the area and the campgrounds. The young man behind the desk, however, needs a few lessons in public relations. The other employees where very pleasant, however. Will stay there again.

As peaceful as it gets this time of year. Stayed here beginning of April 2024. Pull-through FHU 50 amp. Dirt/gravel pad. Pavers, landscaping, and very fine gravel/sand mix fire pit area. Site #B12 General: 1) Very quiet and not many other campers this time of year. 2) 5-7 min for Royal Gorge Bridge Park and overlook picnic areas. 3) Spacious sites and not too close to neighbors and their hookups (many are a touch short but still work well) Campground WiFi: Worked pretty well. Conducted Zoom meetings and able to work on vpn. BUT that is mainly b/c the park was fairly empty. Cell/hotspot using booster: AT&T (3 of 4 bars—4G). Able to work on VPN, Zoom meetings, and stream. Verizon (4 of 4 bars—4G). Able to work on VPN, Zoom meetings, and stream. Details: Check-in: Site assignments posted on board. Office hours limited this time of year. Sites: Dirt/ gravel pad. Fairly spacious sites. Site 19: Was not our site but we noticed that the patio side connects directly to laundry and restrooms, so folks seem to forget their manners and cut through that site's patio spot. Campground Road: Dirt road but too not bumpy. Grounds: Clean. Bathrooms/Showers: Clean and well-maintained. Laundry: Worked well.
