The KOA is more like suburbia than camping, which is great if that's what you're looking for. There were ice cream socials and you can have pizza delivered to your site from the pizza oven on site. There was a giant slide that once in a while are open to heading down in the potato sacks. It was nice getting text messages to let me know what events were going on. Pool was full of leaves, no scooper

The campgrounds are nice but could use a little more upkeep. The mini golf course had a lot of debris on it. They also announced free root-beer floats one night at 8:00pm, we arrived at 8:20 and they were already done. More people arrived after us too and were disappointed. Not sure what happened there but I would have that going for at least an hour.

Spectacular view, love the Paw Pen - will book those again. Excellent customer service, clean facilities. Our first trip and will be back.

Nice place but the closed attractions were a big disappointment to the kids as we rolled into the campground. It looks well past time to take the slide down. Also, your sewer hook ups at A1/A2 are above grade making it difficult to empty tanks. Other than that all was good.

Staff that checked us in was very friendly, help us choose an accommodating site and get parked. Our site was nice. Downfalls was the putt putt was dirty from leaves, needed some TLC. The slide is half the reason we stay here. It's so fun. It'd be nice to have longer hours on slide.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was super helpful and the facilities were in excellent condition. We really enjoyed the hayride and the root beer floats. My only recommendation is that they put a change machine in the laundry room.

Friendly staff, stayed here to visit Royal Gorge train ride but could be used to visit all the other venues around. The huge slide is only open on weekends. Pool has no hand rails to enter or get of, which is difficult for older people, like me (80). Pool was appropriately cool (when you first get in) and clean, but sitting area had some mud. Free mini golf is changeling, pizza was good!

Wonderful! Campgrounds and sites very well manicured. Very impressed with the pet pens at some of the sites. Staff very helpful. Beautiful location with plenty of attractions nearby. Will definitely return. Would be a great location for a family gathering. Thank you for a great time. .

Friendly staff, enjoyed the pool and nice sites, plus a great location. Nice and quiet during the week but the weekend got very loud. Lots of dogs! Dogs running loose. Dogs coming upto our trailer door. We mentioned to people that their dogs should be on a leash but they ignored us.

Vanessa and the staff there are amazing! They made the effort to make sure our group (we had 5 total sites) was doing good. The pool and all areas were clean and overall we just love the place!

Very relaxing and fun activities. Love the dog friendly atmosphere. Site with dog pen was fabulous! Dogs could enjoy and lounge with same view we enjoyed. Slide was great activity for kids along with the rock painting. Older males in our camp group had quite a challenging Mini-Golf game. Not sure if it was a challenging course or just sore losers. Great time had by ALL and will be back next year!!

Great employees working and welcoming us. Clean bathrooms and service areas. We stayed at the new 50 amp sites on the very southwest corner - they were great and plenty of room for us! We truly enjoyed our stay - thank you!

You really should advertise the "KOA trail" to the canyon rim. It is really great for hikers and mountain bikers. It really is one of your best features!

None of the activities shown in the reservation confirmation were available. Slide not open, no s’mores bar as advertised, unable to make train reservations through office staff as advertised, not near enough shade at our patio site with a sw exposure. Doggie park was nice size for play & exercise but was desperate for shade. Wasn’t the best KOA Holiday we’ve stayed at.

This is our second time. We love visiting the Royal gorge and then heading back to KOA campground. I wish the slides were open but we still had a good time.

Wonderful campground, Wonderful staff. Lots to do at no extra charge! The pet fence was so convenient. Also the pancake breakfast was a really nice treat

Lots to see in the area. The KOA could have a few more special activities like wine and cheese reception for adults, crafts for kids, etc. Need lights at the dog park and keep poop bags available at the dog park.

Beautiful setting, great amenities. Never had an entire campground's power go out (storm rolled through), but the campground's text system worked perfectly alerting everyone that crews were working on restoring service, which happened quickly.

The slide was the only reason we came to this Kia and it was closed for both days we were there. The pool was FREEZING cold. The bathrooms smelled awful. This was our 2nd time staying there and the first time was great (pool was still freezing then) but things have went downhill since last summer. Disappointing stay, to say the least.

Great campground! Gorgeous view! Clean! Nice staff! Campground accommodates very large campers (ours is 44ft w/o the truck) but it is VERY tight. Camp here, but be careful / mindful of the route you take getting to your site. We arrived before the office closed and were escorted to our site, we had no parking issues. Others that we saw who arrived in the night or past 8pm had a very hard time!

We stayed here to visit the Royal Gorge. The location in that sense is wonderful with the gorge being 10 mins away. We were put at a site right next to the residence that has two horses. I had hives the first night we arrived. The Hunt Brothers pizza I would not recommend, nor was the giant slide. It needs to be waxed or something. The K9 yard is sand and would be better if it was grass.

Overall, it was really lovely! Staff was friendly and helpful and the giant slide was very cool. The only complaint is that when we were there multiple showers were not working in the women’s restroom.

As peaceful as it gets this time of year. Stayed here beginning of April 2024. Pull-through FHU 50 amp. Dirt/gravel pad. Pavers, landscaping, and very fine gravel/sand mix fire pit area. Site #B12 General: 1) Very quiet and not many other campers this time of year. 2) 5-7 min for Royal Gorge Bridge Park and overlook picnic areas. 3) Spacious sites and not too close to neighbors and their hookups (many are a touch short but still work well) Campground WiFi: Worked pretty well. Conducted Zoom meetings and able to work on vpn. BUT that is mainly b/c the park was fairly empty. Cell/hotspot using booster: AT&T (3 of 4 bars—4G). Able to work on VPN, Zoom meetings, and stream. Verizon (4 of 4 bars—4G). Able to work on VPN, Zoom meetings, and stream. Details: Check-in: Site assignments posted on board. Office hours limited this time of year. Sites: Dirt/ gravel pad. Fairly spacious sites. Site 19: Was not our site but we noticed that the patio side connects directly to laundry and restrooms, so folks seem to forget their manners and cut through that site's patio spot. Campground Road: Dirt road but too not bumpy. Grounds: Clean. Bathrooms/Showers: Clean and well-maintained. Laundry: Worked well. Location: Gas, groceries and restaurants are in town 10 min Near highway: The KOA is slightly off of a main road so there is a touch noise during the day. Near train: No
