Very scenic location and close to The Royal Gorge. Facilities and campsites were clean. Our site had a picnic table and lounging chairs.

Easy to find off US 50. Friendly staff. Received a call 2 hours before arrival to check on our progress. Our camp site on row I was adequate for length, but needed to back our truck in at an angle to clear the road for row J. Large decorative granite boulders cause some concern about navigating tight corners. Shower stalls small and faucets work backwards to traditional hot-cold positions.

We have been staying here for many years. The campground continues to make improvements. The store hours were short and we never made it in. The staff was nice.

It’s a great campground. My only critique is the rows need to be labeled better. Especially at night it’s difficult to tell where the rows are. Other than that we had a great stay

The facilities are wonderful, and the store walking distance across the street is filled with fun merchandise to complete any gift shopping list. Royal Gorge Bridge, the Rock Shop and the Dinosaur Museum are definitely must sees! Lots of fun close by - plan two days and take it all in.

Nobody was ever available. Store hours 10-4, nobody was there when we checked in at 2pm, nobody was there at 10am, should up around 10:30 delaying our departure. They wanted to do everything over the phone, could not seem to run our card over the phone, so we had to wait. Then all of this was our fault when we were kinda irritated and maintenace guy thought it was ok to call us ignorant 3x's.

The campground was very nice and I loved the access to trails. We came in after the office was closed so I filled out a form. I saw an employee leaving the building and asked if I had put the correct price of $67.50 on the form. He told me that was correct but when I checked my credit card bill, I was charged almost $90. We would have changed sites if I knew this was a premium site.

It was great! We enjoy our stay. The reason for a 4 star is the only thing I didn’t like was the spaces are tight. If you have a travel trailer larger than 30ft the roads and sites are tight.

Will never stay at this KOA again. Booked SPECIFICALLY for the slide which is NEVER opened. False advertising. Pizza was never opened due to "training", just not wanting to do it. Was told showers cost around $8. "New" patio's were nice but to small for travel trailer and vehicle to maneuver. Over grown shrubs taking out table area, useless. Mini golf course trashed/greens debris/no equip.

Good ol KOA... Needs some upkeep and feels a bit run down. But we like it. Disappointed that when I paid for 2 sites for myself and my nephew and his family, the wouldn't offer me the 10% KOA DISCOUNT and wouldn't credit to my K IS A member#. Not sure why that wouldn't be ok...!? KOA HOLIDAYS should be top shelf... Let's hold the clean and maintenance requirements like they used to be.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Restrooms were very clean. Sites were level and well maintained. Great location. We were disappointed that the pool water appear to have algae in it. Otherwise, we loved the KOA.

I called and tried to cancel our stay due to changes in our travel plans and was denied due to supposed 48 hour notice restrictions, even though we had just stayed at a KOA for an entire week at ridiculous prices! The campground is beautifully landscaped. But the numbering system and lots are a maze, and not generous. The ladies showers only had one door that closed and locked, so my wife had to wait for a turn. The connection a were great, the staff was friendly, but I don't think we would go there again. There was no good place to walk the dogs without getting burrs. No grass around, just weeds and burrs.

We had a great site and it was not too crowded. The WiFi seriously needs to be stronger with the size of the campground. For what we pay, that should be a given. Loved the walking trail and the Mountain views behind the park, and saying hi to the horses each day in the park.

This KOA was very nice and had a lot of fun things to do. We also loved it was only a few minutes from the Royal Gorge Bridge & Park. We would definitely stay here again.

Very disappointed. When I called the office to make arrangements for a shuttle ride to the train station I was told they no longer offered the shuttle service. That was the major reason I went to the KOA was for the shuttle service. I drive a Class C motor home and do not tow a vehicle. The guide should not mention the shuttle at all. False advertising.

This is a beautiful campground. Landscaping and all the wonderful flowering plants make this campground a joy to be in. Hosts are friendly and helpful.

You cant go wrong with a KOA and this one was no exception. Lots of trees, beautiful views and plenty of room at each site. We had no issues with a 43' class A.
