They were courteous and got me in right away even though I had not booked in advance. There was an issue with electricity, but found out from the campground's electrician (who came almost immediately to diagnose the issue) that the breakers were revers of the plug-ins on the power pole between the sites. Water in showers was serviceable, but definitely not as hot as I'd have liked.

We loved this KOA. There was so much to do in the camp and around it. We had a blast and stayed longer than we planned because it was beautiful. I absolutely loved the pet pens. I wish all koa’s had them. It was so nice to have an area just for them right at our site.

We paid for a 50amp site and when we got to the camp we were given a 30amp site. I said something and then we were moved to a different site with 50 Amp service. The new site was small with a length not long enough for the trailer and truck. The sites are small and the road around the camp sites is narrow. We had a hard time as we pulled out making the turns within the park without hitting stones

The stay was alright, I was not impressed with the staff, they didn’t engage in a manner that was welcoming. The majority of staff that we encountered appeared to be teenagers. There were campers across from us that put their dogs outside early mornings and allowed them to bark nonstop, I didn’t appreciate that. There was only 1 planned activity each evening and no information to attend.

We had a perfect camp spot near the office with lots of shade…beautiful landscaping…it is very kid friendly…only suggestion is to pave main entrance to office..windy area and lots of dust blowing around. Close to all sites…

It is a nice campground. The pool needs updating. The young lady in the office had no access to change for the laundry on Saturday morning The afternoon person was able to provide change but by then I was not wanting to do laundry.

The park is beautiful, everyone was great and when we ordered a pizza (fresh hand made to order) they delivered it to our space. There are no KOA signs along the highway so we drove right by it and had to call the office to get help to find the right turn off (at a restaurant called My Sister's Place). We would have loved to had time to stay longer.

Not a good site sewer 2 ft from neighbors patio just a picnic table in the middle of uneven pavers layed on the ground when I make reservations described it totally different never again

We have stayed in our trailer at this KOA several times now. It is a lovely campsite. It's very quiet, off the highway. It's beautiful, clean and has lots of things to do. Twice we have traveled with friends and family who have used the cabin facilities and they are lovely and clean and brand new. The dog and kids park are great. Love the Canyon City KOA!

We stayed in a deluxe site with a pergola and it was perfect! The campground is located in a great area for activities and sightseeing. The staff was very friendly and the park was very clean. We will definitely be back!

1. Prevailing winds from north or south blow smoke from other campers fire pit into campsite. Can't open RV windows due to smoke. 2. RV site orientation precludes/negates use of RV awning to block afternoon sun. Therefore no shade.

Very well kept campground. The grandkids loved the pool and slide. The campsite was very nice. E39. And the staff were very helpful and friendly!!!

You cant go wrong with a KOA and this one was no exception. Lots of trees, beautiful views and plenty of room at each site. We had no issues with a 43' class A.
